About: With a Ph.D. in Animal Science and a lifelong passion for animals, I offer extensive and specialized pet care experience. Growing up, I cared for six dogs, four cats, parrots, guinea pigs, and even a donkey, developing a deep understanding of various pet needs and behaviors. This early experience fostered a lifelong bond with animals and honed my ability to provide loving and attentive care. I have significant experience caring for both kittens and puppies from birth, ensuring they thrive in a nurturing environment. Friends often call me a "cat whisperer" due to my natural talent for connecting with animals and making them feel comfortable and loved. My academic background in Animal Science further enhances my pet care skills, equipping me with a profound understanding of animal behavior, medication administration, and specialized dietary needs. Additionally, my experience includes observing wildlife in their natural habitat during a visit to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, which enriched my perspective on animal care. Whether managing special dietary requirements, administering medications, or providing affectionate companionship, I am committed to delivering exceptional care for every pet I look after. I’m currently working part-time as a dog and cat sitter, which allows me flexibility in my schedule. I am available for boarding on weekends and can provide care on weekdays after 5pm. This arrangement ensures that I can dedicate ample time to playing, exercising, and attending to your pets' needs. I live in a secure apartment with a comfortable and pet-friendly environment. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I ensure your pets' safety and comfort by providing a well-maintained, clean space. I am attentive to their needs and will create a safe area for them to play and relax.

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Sally for over 16 years, and throughout our friendship, her incredible love for animals has always shone brightly. She has a special way of connecting with all creatures, not just cats and dogs. Whether it's cuddling a friend's new puppy, bonding with a stray cat, or marveling at wildlife during our outdoor adventures, Sally's compassion and enthusiasm for animals are truly unparalleled. Growing up, Sally's home was always filled with furry friends. She took exceptional care of her family’s cats and dogs, ensuring they were always happy, healthy, and loved. She treated each animal with respect and kindness, understanding their unique personalities and needs. But her passion doesn't stop at domestic pets. Sally has always been fascinated by all kinds of animals, including wildlife. Her broad appreciation for nature and its creatures is inspiring and speaks volumes about her character. If you're looking for someone to care for your beloved pets as if they were her own, I can't recommend Sally enough. Her extensive experience, genuine affection, and unwavering commitment make her the perfect pet sitter. Your pets will be in the most loving and capable hands with her!”

“Jade is my GO TO petsitter! She is the friendliest person who greets my doggys with such care! My 2 miniature dachshunds LOVE Jade!!! Sometimes I wonder if they love her more than us. My dogs are NOT easy to take care of… high anxiety, many accidents, high care needs, need lots of affection and play, special diet, and loud barking… and she helps us so much! She takes instructions very well. She is trustworthy. While we were away, one of our dogs tore up their dog bed… she handled this with such care going above and beyond. She calmly called us immediately to let us know and cleaned up the mess. We love Jade so much!”

Teagan was fantastic with my pups! Kept me updated, multiple photos, multiple videos - was there when she said she'd be and kept them entertained while I was away. This was all on an impromptu trip that was scheduled, so she was quick to get back to me and help! Will definitely be using her again.

Erin was great! She cared for our dog who is currently injured with knee surgery upcoming and also stayed in our home and watered the garden as well! She gave daily pics and updates and was absolutely wonderful in every way! We would highly recommend her and would definitely use her again. Very sweet young lady!

Addison is amazing! She watched my Oliver for 6 days and kept me updated all day everyday! Sent a ton of photos and he had a lot of walks & play time. Anytime she was unsure of something she would always reach out just to be sure and make being away from Oliver much easier/comfortable. He loved her as soon as he met her. I highly recommend! :)

Hallie was AMAZING!! She took care of my baby like it was her own. I got lots of updates and she even took my dog out for a nice long walk, with permission. She did great with my dog who is known to be a bit anxious. I will definitely be using Hallie again for future dog sitting!! I couldn't recommend her enough!

Emma did a phenomenal job taking care of my two babies while I was way. She was very attentive to the instructions and asked great questions. She is very knowledgeable on how to take care of animals & my dogs loved her! She even sent progress pictures every day and my dogs looked incredibly happy. I will absolutely be requesting her services again when I need my pets to be taken care of.

David has sat for our dog twice now and he has been excellent each time. He is great about communicating with us and provides wonderful care for our dog. He always makes sure he does all the quirky things our dog needs and is very patient and friendly with him.
