“Lisa is the best pet caretaker in the Shoals area. I have been going to her since 2019 and am a repeat customer. I will always go to her. She is amazing with pets and very trustworthy. You can tell she loves animals and she does an amazing job taking care of my dog. We are so lucky to have her in the Shoals area!”

“The absolute BEST of the best! Evie took incredible care of all three of my somewhat needy kitty babies and my house too! She was very detailed in making sure they had everything they need from fresh litter to access to their toys (they like to loose their toys under doorways until they can’t reach them haha). And the day before I had to leave two of them had to get on antibiotics twice a day and one of which also is asthmatic and needs a pill and inhaler too and she handled all of their meds without a hitch! We also got pictures daily which helped ease my anxiety about leaving them! She was so so sweet to all of them and gave them all the different care they need individually as they all have very different personalities. I’m so grateful for her taking such good care of them and treating them like she would her own!”

“So happy we were able to book Ava! We were gone all week for our wedding and didn’t want to stress Melody out by a long trip or boarding all week. Melody took to Ava right away and seemed very happy with her new friend! Ava was super respectful of our home and made sure we got updates throughout the week so we didn’t have to worry. I feel like Melody was well taken care of and loved. Ava even gave her a bath before we came back which was so nice. We’re absolutely going to use Ava in the future!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, and even the occasional chicken. As a longtime pet owner myself, I understand how much our animals mean to us. I treat every pet I care for like part of the family, with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. Whether it’s a daily walk or a weekend stay, you can count on me to keep your furry (or feathered!) friend safe, happy, and loved. I’m available for midday walks, check-ins, and evening visits. I also offer overnight house sitting if you're looking for someone to keep your pets company overnight. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by sticking to their usual routine, feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I respect each pet’s personality and any specific instructions you provide. If I’m doing overnight care, I maintain a calm and cozy environment, making sure your pet gets attention, companionship, and consistency while you’re away.

“Bre was an all around delight for our dog, and cared for her like she was her own. She was consistent with updates complete with photos and very flexible and composed during spontaneous circumstances that came up. We are beyond grateful”

“Amazing! I have never been happier with an in-home sitter. Great with my Dexter! I almost thought he was going to leave with her instead of staying at home. The stay ended up being longer than planned and a Belgian puppy was added to the mix. She had no issues with either modification to booking. Great with both dogs. Very responsive with communication and respectful of personal boundaries. Highly recommend and will be using again!”

About: I'm type of person that will go to a party and first make friends with dog. My home is perfectly spaced for horsing around yet has many cozy places to take a nap and cuddle. I have a nice fenced yard with shaded spot on the rug and bench for lazy days. There is plastic kiddie pool to cool off in, when sunbathing becomes all too much. Street I live on is pretty private and fun to walk with big yards, plenty of bushes and places to sniff. There is a dog park in the mile proximity. My doggies are 2 goofballs that love to hang out with new friends. They might even insist on sharing a toy or two to win the guest over. All in all, we are a fun bunch to hang with. Pet boarding is a full-time venture for me so I will provide the utmost care and attention to your pet and will do my very best to be available to answer any questions or handle any concerns you may have during your pet's stay. Although I devote much of my time to boarding, please be respectful of the times I have listed below for drop-offs and pick-ups. Times for earliest drop-off and latest pick-up Monday to Thursday: 6am-830pm Friday: 6am-9pm Saturday and Sunday: 9am-830pm Be respectful of the times given. We wake up early on a daily basis and go to bed early as well due to early work and school schedules. Please let us know when you will be arriving. Send us a text upon arrival and we will meet you outside to bring your pet inside. This method will prevent barking from the doggos already here and reduce stress and separation anxiety for your pet. Please bring your pet's food in Ziploc bags with his or her name clearly written on them. If there are medications and/or supplements to be given, please include detailed and clearly written or typed instructions. What you DO NOT need to bring: food bowls water bowls pet beds/blankets toys clothes We provide toys (including indoor, outdoor, plush, toys for chewers, so let us know if your dog has a preference), beds, wipes, brushes, and crates if your pet needs one at night. Apart from our home that is open to your pet, we have an additional house on our property that can accommodate guests. We also have part-time staff who can help on an as-needed basis. Your pet will be free to run around our 1/4 acre backyard that is fully enclosed by a 6 foot fence. We have a large gazebo that provides shade during the hotter days. The backyard is divided into a large grassy area and smaller gravel and concrete sections. Fresh water is provided consistently. Tours of our home will not be granted. We will happily provide you with our Instagram account so you can view the premises and also check out our regular guests having a great time. We do not require a meet-and-greet for the stay, but if you would like to do one, our front porch provides the perfect spot for us to meet. We dedicate the weekends between 9am and 11am to any meet-and-greets you wish to have. I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets ! My partner, Hunter, and I both have remote positions so we are home most of the time. We absolutely love taking the pups on mid-day walks. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. After dinner, everyone gets a dental bone with enzymatic puppy toothpaste to freshen breath and keep cavities at bay!

“Hannah was great. We had an extended trip that changed near the last minute, not only was she flexible and worked with us to adjust but I think our boy dog fell in love with her, he was a mess for a while after she left. Will definitely look to work with Hannah again in the future.”

About: I've taken care of my neighborhoods animals since I was younger. With the dogs, I would walk them, play ball with them in the back yard, to bathing them if they needed it to cuddling them if it was a storm night. Hi guy! I just graduated school, so how pet care fits into my dailey routine is that i’m available majority of the time even holidays! How I would keep your pets safe is when we are going on a walk I would make sure they were leased. And then if I was playing ball with them I would make sure the gates where closed. And then during the night if they stayed in a crate I would make sure I had one.

I try to leave with the pet looking forward to its next visit from me.

Hannah & Hunter B.
“Hannah is actually saved in my phone as Hannah- Knives and Hoggies second mom! She has been helping me care for my dogs for years. Funny enough, Hannah saved my dog, Knives, and the rest of his litter when they were tiny puppies. Someone dumped them in a shallow box and left them at the church doorsteps and Hannah found them, took them home and found loving, forever homes for them all. A true Angel !”

She treats her dog and other dogs with so much love and she understands that they are not just animals but part of peoples family. She is very precautious and knows what not to feed them. She has a good understanding of younger puppies and older dogs and how they need to be tended too. If I needed my dogs tended I would look no further than lilly!”

She is so loving to all these animals. Usually the cats jump in her lap the whole time. She is always posting on Facebook pictures of dogs that need to be rescued. You will not find a better person than Lisa. She is a joy! She is very responsible and a person of integrity.”
