About: I started working with animals in my early 20s at a veterinarian's office. Since then I've held odd jobs here and there helping people feed walk their pets or take care of them while they're out of town on trips. We even have a veterinarian tech in the family. I work from home and my 72-year-old mother lives with me as well. Between the two of us we have oodles of time to look after pets and help with whatever your pet needs are. In our home pets are part of our family and we meet them where there needs are. We have plenty of space for them to rome or if they are more comfortable in confined spaces we can do that too. About: My very best friend was a rescue American Staffordshire Terrier that I as lucky to have for 14 years. I’ve been working and volunteering at cat rescues for over 6 years. I’ve fostered bottle babies up to geriatric kitties with various medical needs. I've pet sat for friends and people who have adopted my foster cats, including any other pets they may have at home- like dogs and tortoises. Currently I am a stay at home parent. I am available for daily walks, drop ins or house sitting at your home. I am looking forward to building a trusting and fun relationship with your pet. I am located in North Everett. About: I have been volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter for the past 7 months. I go in for a two hour dog walking shift each week. This has given me experience with all different sizes and dog breeds. I have been a dog owner since I was 11 years old. My 14 year old chihuahua/pug mix died in October and I realized that dogs are my passion and joy, leading me to want to pursue a career with animals. About: I have been around pets of all kinds from birth. We've always been a multi-dog and cat (and other creature) household. I have vast experience when it comes to caretaking animals, and was breeding and rearing guinea pigs at the age of eight. My folks bred and raised dogs in my teen to college years (cocker spaniels and then English bulldogs), and I have tended to the well-being of the newest of brand new of puppies, the most pregnant of mama dogs, and every walk of canine in between. I nursed my now elderly bebe boy through parvo in his first year of life, rescued a stray kitten from under a neighbor's car and nursed him back from the brink of death (and then adopted him, obviously), and plucked my little girl as an emaciated and abused little pup from the mean streets and spent many patient hours, days, months, years getting her to trust and enjoy the world after early and lasting trauma (you'd never know now; she's grown into the most spunky and affectionate little bub 🥰). There isn't much I can't handle when it comes to the caretaking of creatures. I simply prioritize their calm and trust, and I am always ready with all the cuddles and scritches and runarounds when the time is right, whether right off the bat or after a spell of becoming better acquainted. I'm a gig and construction worker, making my mornings and evenings generally flexible for Rover clients and freelance work. Happy to help with walks and drop-ins throughout the day that do not require full day or overnight presence. I know how important routine can be to our little dudes. I take copious notes to have on hand for what is typically expected in terms of feeding times, activity levels, favorite toys and treats, off-limit nibbles and allergies, known stressors, and safe spaces. For example, my pups feel most safe in the bathroom, more specifically in the tub, when they are most stressed. Don't know where they picked it up (maybe sensing that's where mama goes when stressed... 😅), but we always pile blankets into an empty bath and snuggle watching loud tv on days with fireworks. I love to know all of those kinds of things when I'm visiting a pet's home so that I can best make their time away from their family as easy and calm and fun as possible.

About: I’ve had pets since before I could even remember so they have always been more like family to me than just a pet. I understand the special bond between a pet and owner so having someone who loves them as much as you do to take care of them is most important. I’ve taken care of ones with special needs and senior dogs that just need a little extra care. I know where all local vets and emergency vets are in a 30 mile radius. I take care of anyone pet as if they were my own. They deserve nothing but the best. I work Part time in mid afternoons so I can do most early mornings or afternoons and some mid afternoons. I dont work long shifts so I have a pretty open schedule. I treat my home as if I have toddlers roaming at all times so nothing left out on the floors that they can eat or get into.
