About: I have grown up with dogs and have always had a deep love for taking care of them. I was born into a family of two dog-loving parents and a yellow lab named Sammy. Since then, we've had a male Lhaso Apso named Tony, a female Chow Chow mix named Ana, and currently a male Wheaten Terrier named Sonny. There has literally never been a moment in my life where I did not own a dog, and since 2010 I have also volunteered at the New Rochelle Humane Society (walking, feeding, and socializing the cats and dogs). I truly know the ins and outs of dog care like the back of my hand -- its more than a job for me, its my lifestyle, and I hope that I can share my lifestyle with your and your furry friend! As of 2024 I currently live in Santa Fe, NM and am offering my dog walking and drop in services in the area, and I am also offering petsitting services in both Santa Fe and Taos. UPDATE 12/26/24 I will be in New York City for the holidays and am offering walking and sitting services here until January 16 2025 I work freelance, which means I have a lot of time to spend at home with your pet. I structure my day around the needs of each animal, and can work with even the most demanding schedule. I always make sure the client's home is as clean as it was when I first arrived, and that all doors are locked with animals inside. I pay a lot of attention to the physical and mental state of animals, and if I see they're overheating or in any state of distress I will do everything in my power to make them feel better.

About: I have a deep respect for animals, their autonomy and their neediness. I have been a caretaker to many walks of life including children, dogs, cats, rabbits and the elderly, throughout my life. I am devoted to treating all walks of life with love and respect and honoring all pet owners wishes for keeping their pet healthy and safe. I am a student enrolled in online school, so attending to needs is easily added into my daily schedule. I also am a single mother to 1 small child, and already equipped to be caregiving as a full time job! It’s something I love to do. Animals that are child friendly as a must, as well as pet owners. About: I’ve taken care of my family friend’s dog for 7 years and have experience feeding, walking, playing with, and keeping pets comfortable while their owners are away. I’m responsible, dependable, and enjoy spending time with animals. I’ll make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available all day on Sundays and Mondays. Pet care fits well into my schedule, and I enjoy spending time with dogs. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. I have a secure fenced yard and two friendly dogs that can provide companionship if your pet is comfortable around other animals. I have been around animals my entire life and find myself growing more drawn to caring for them every day. Currently, I do not have a dog of my own so I feel that taking care of your dogs would bring so much joy and fulfillment to my life. About: I grew up in a household with cats, dogs, small mammals, exotic and domestic birds, reptiles, and fish. I have experience as both a short and long term pet/house sitter. A large portion of my life has been spent working at pet stores, aquariums, wildlife rehabilitation facilities and with animal trainers so I have good background knowledge surrounding a large variety of animal care. By trade I am a biologist with a focus in the marine sciences. As a full-time field biologist, the field part of my job doesn’t allow me time to have pets of my own. So between field jobs I greatly enjoy the opportunity to pet sit since I have lots of time to dedicate to your pet! I feel that pet sitting is a great way to get some animal time in while also helping out. I am very attentive, caring, trustworthy, and dedicated. Every home has a routine and flow all its own, one of the most important things a sitter can do is maintain that rythem while the pet parent is away, and give lots of extra love too. About: If your pet needs a new best friend… I’m your guy. I’ve loved animals literally my whole life! My first dog was a Husky who used to give me chaparoned rides in the backyard when I was a baby. Since then I’ve grown up with all kinds of pets, dogs, cats, bunnies, mice, hamsters, chickens, and animals have always just vibed with me! I bond really well with pets of all kinds, whether they’re shy, playful, energetic, or the type that just wants a chill person around. I do this because I genuinely love animals, and taking care of them makes me happy ! It’s something that feels natural and meaningful to me. If you choose me, I’ll treat your pet like they’re part of my own little pack, with patience, attention, and good energy. About: I’ve had pets my whole life including Great Danes, cats, bunnies, gerbils, fish and have been dog and cat sitting professionally for 5 years. Recently I lived and worked on a thousand-acre farm caring for cows, horses and goats, doing everything from feeding, cleaning and even bottle feeding. Bottom line is I love pets, and would love to meet your four-legged family members!! I currently work from my computer so I am very mobile and happy to be flexible with scheduling, etc. I love spending time with all animals so I make it a priority to fit this kind of work in. *If you have multiple pets and my site is quoting a large number for your sitting request, please know I am happy to look closer and find a good price for all! If I am giving care at your home my number one priority is your animal’s safety. That’s best implemented by focusing on your (the owner’s) rules and daily routines. Once I establish that, I focus on creating a special bond with your pet—it’s like they’re getting a new friend. If I’m boarding at my house my number one priority is to create a new and special routine that reflects their home routine but with new special elements. I have a very large yard and a safe neighborhood to take pets on walks, and as long as they are happy sharing space with a cat we have a really good time!

About: Growing up on a farm, I developed hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, from livestock to household pets. Today, I extend that care to my friends’ pets whenever they need support, looking after everything from dogs and cats to more unique companions like snakes and chickens. My lifelong connection to animals has given me the skills and intuition needed to ensure they receive the attention and care they deserve. As a part-time web designer and content creator, I work primarily online, which allows me to maintain a highly flexible schedule. Since I set my own hours, I can easily accommodate pet care, always making time for dog walks, cat brushing, and any other needs. My adaptable routine ensures consistent and attentive care for all pets. I’ve had experience both welcoming pets into my home and house-sitting for others. I’m based in Taos, where there’s a fenced yard and access to great hikes nearby. If I stay at your home, you can expect it to be well-cared for, left clean, and I can also manage tasks like plant care as needed. NOTE for boarding: I do have a cat. Any visiting dogs must be cat-friendly and respect cat boundaries.

About: Since I was about 9, I have taken care of, and helped to care for pets. My family and friends have always asked me for help with any of their pet needs, and I am always more than happy to help. I am currently back home from college and I am more than happy to be a dog walker for the summer. I am available most of the week from 10 am to 8 pm. I’d love to stay with your dogs and create a seamless stress free opportunity for you to get away. Or we can all stay at my place with AC, a fenced in yard, and many neighborhood parks nearby. My house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood right across the street from Frenchy Field. Rest assured that they will be cared for as if they were my own while having the comfort and familiarity of your home, or the tons of fun that goes on at my place. I love all dogs unconditionally. I can provide a much smaller pack environment for your dog rather than a kennel where there could be 50 dogs at a time. Yikes!! I only accept dogs from one to two owners at a time so please plan ahead as I may get booked very quickly. This ensures that I can give your dogs the attention and care that they deserve. My daily routine revolves around my pack needs. Our routine is generally foods, walks, parks, poops, pees, plays, sleeps, repeat…. I am flexible and can accommodate pretty much any type of needs for your pets. I am ready to come care for your pets whenever I am available. Everything from simple walks and feeding to extended stays at my place or yours, it sounds like fun to me. I have a full time best friend and dog named Spreckles who is pretty close to perfect. His nickname is Sprex. He is Hawaiian, so naturally he is very friendly and mellow with tons of Aloha. My number one priority is pack safety. I follow a daily routine and consistent schedule with my pack. Our day always starts with a nice walk to a nearby park. I use my own custom made leash system that I can walk many dogs at the same time, safely and securely. When we’re not out walking or at the park we do a lot of chilling and hanging out around our house and fenced in yard. I promote the pack mentality among my dogs as I am always their pack leader who ensures their safety and protection all the time. I’m glad to use your dog’s crate at my house whenever I am not home if needed (not typical). Sometimes I take the pack out on planned field trips, usually afternoons and weekends, to various places throughout the area. Frenchy Park is right across the street from my house and super fun for the pups. I treat and protect each dog as if they were my own and love them all unconditionally. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. I speak the language of dogs and am confident around them always. I am always their alpha who provides a fun and safe space for my pack.
