“Shelbi did a wonderful job with our kitties! I was very nervous to leave them for so long. She went above and beyond making sure our shy one was OK when she was concerned that he hadn't been spotted after a couple of days. With my direction she was able to move a portable outside security camera into the house for me to check and make sure he was coming out of hiding when she wasn't there. We got home last night and they were all happy and healthy. I will definitely use her services again the next time we go out of town! I loved the updates and all the pictures too. Thanks so much Shelbi!!”

“Miranda was great and my cats appreciated her! I appreciated the updates and she went above and beyond to make sure they had what they needed.”

“Sydnee was great, didn't have to worry about the cats at all with her checking in!”

About: I have had dogs since I was born, but when my husband and I got married, we chose to foster dogs while we were building our family! We are always the number 1 choice to watch our family and friends dogs when they go out of town. Our kids adore dogs and believe their dogs are their “siblings”. My husband and I are off during the summer. My husband is a principal for an Elementary school and I am a college professor. During the school year, I leave around 8:45am and come home at 4pm 3 days a week. While home we are constantly with our dogs and taking them on walks and playing in our large backyard. We have a 0.75 acre fenced in backyard and I have 1/2 of the downstairs gated off so the dogs do not get into any trouble or things that could potentially harm them (food from pantry, kids toys, etc).

“Angela takes good care of Oliver and communicates well so I feel good about leaving him in her care. I recommend her highly. I appreciate finding her after moving to the Troy area.”

“Shae was absolutely amazing! She provided top notch service as she cared for our sweet Lilly-girl during our vacation. She is kind, accommodating, responsible, reliable and trustworthy. I was apprehensive, as I am new to Rover, but she made our first experience smooth and stress-free. I also loved that she sent us photos of our fur-baby while we were away. I will most certainly be utilizing Shae’s services again in the near future.”

“Aliece is just the gentle, loving spirit that our cats needed. We are so glad we found her. She took good care of our kids for the week we were gone, giving them attention and affection. She provided updates, with pictures and some videos, to let us know how they were doing. They clearly warmed up to her quickly. Even our 15 year old female cat, who is typically very timid and cautious, approached Aliece for petting on multiple visits. We were a bit surprised, and pleased, by that. :)”

Sharon H.
“Sharon is great with my pets. Going out of town was such a difficult things since my dog is so full of separation anxiety. He would be destructive, run away or be constantly barking. Then when I would return he would be moody and give me the guilt trip and sometimes not eat. Since Sharon has helped me out those issues are a thing of the past. It's almost like he does not miss me anymore. Its a bonus to get the daily updates and not to worry about my place when I'm gone. Obviously the consistency and the walks have helped the anxiety for my dog. I recommend Sharon as a loving pet caregiver and house sitter. Steve”

“Stephanie has dog sat for me many different times when I’ve gone on long vacations. I didn’t trust my roommate at the time, but I had full trust in Stephanie. My dog is my fur child, so I’m not going to leave him with just anyone. Stephanie gave me frequent updates and sent pictures to ensure me that my pup was OK. She gave him love, treats, and plenty of attention while I was away. I was able to relax and enjoy my time away knowing that he was in good hands. I’ve known Stephanie for many years, so I know how responsible and caring she is for her own animals, as well as mine.”
