“Shelbi was wonderful. Every time she visited with my older cats she sent very detailed notes about how they were doing . She is quite conscientious about their needs & let me know any information she thought important. Visited my cats exactly at the times I requested. Awesome communicator. Definitely will use her in the future.”

“This was our second time having Jessica as our cat sitter, and once again it was a wonderful experience. The first time she cared for our cat Priscila, and this time she also looked after our new kitten Pepper. Given it was Pepper’s first time being without us for multiple days, Jessica provided extra attention and playtime, which was exactly what she needed. We loved the detailed Rover cards with adorable pictures of our kitties. We highly recommend Jessica!”

About: I am currently working as a dog bather and graduated from MVCTC Animal Care and Management. I have experience in small animals and basic training. I am currently working part time so I have lots of availability. I am available anytime on Mondays and Sundays and after 5 Tuesday- Saturday. Times and dates are flexible. I love to cuddle up with any pets if you or your pet would like. I can also easily crate pets and feed them on specific schedules as well as providing fresh water.

About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs. I want to ensure that they feel as safe, comfortable, and well-loved with me as they do with you! I'm currently taking some online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Right now I have a lot of time Fridays-Mondays which I would love to spend taking care of some special pets. I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.
“Emma is a great sitter for my very energetic dogs and also communicated wonderfully. My one dog was very stubborn about getting back into the kennel, but Emma was patient and even reached out to see if there were any tips. She did so well, I'm booking her for weekly visits.”

About: For me, caring for animals is a lifelong calling that started at age 10. My deep involvement with nature has shaped my consciousness to view animals as living beings who deserve the same respect and care that humans do. This philosophy drives my approach as a sitter, whether I am implementing structured house-training routines for young dogs and kittens or managing the specialized needs of senior animals. I truly believe humanity's history is deeply intertwined with learning from and adapting to the animal world. I bring that foundational respect into your home, ensuring your pets feel completely understood, safe, and loved according to their unique personalities and attentiveness they deserve as living, feeling members of your family. I work full time with Lyft so I will have plenty of time to entertain your pup, dog, kitten or cat. Lets us have fun I'm in their world. I treat your home with the utmost respect and keep your pet's environment safe, predictable, and clean. To build trust, I strictly follow your specific instructions regarding feeding, locking up, and household boundaries. I thoroughly scan spaces for hidden hazards like loose cords or choking risks before letting pets roam. During our time together, I mirror their established daily routines to minimize stress and keep them feeling secure. I also send regular photo updates and transparent messages so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and thriving.
“Ashley has done a great job caring for our cat on several occasions while we have been out of town. Always provides good photos and updates and goes above and beyond.”

About: I am an animal lover with a bias towards dogs! I have had dogs of all different breeds and sizes throughout my life (including Rottweilers, Basset Hounds, Pitt Bulls, Doberman Pinschers and St. Bernards), and I can truly say that pups make the world a better place! I would love to walk or care for your fur-baby. I understand the sacred bond that an owner has with their animals, so you can trust and believe that your dog will be treated with the utmost love, respect and professionalism. Rain or shine, I can be available to get your dog exercised and back to your home safe and sound. I would love to meet your pet and to make your life a little easier. See you soon!
“Taylor was an amazing sitter for our 2 dogs and cat. We had a stressful and emotional wedding get away and knowing the pets we're in good hands was a huge relief. Her check ins went exactly by the schedule we planned and she provided several photos at each visit. She quickly responded to any questions I had during our time away. We are excited to have her close by and available to help in the future!!”

“Our family had to go out of town for a funeral without a lot of notice. We had never left our kitties with a stranger before and we were pretty apprehensive about it. But from the first meet and greet through our return home, Kayla did so much to put our minds at ease. Here are some highlights: At the first meeting, it was obvious that Kayla loves animals. I wanted someone here for them whose heart was truly in this job, and her’s really was. She also not only answered all of our questions, she asked some that we weren’t even thinking about (lights, plants) and took detailed notes. While we were gone, Kayla kept our kitties fed, gave one of them his medication, which we expected, but she also took lots of pictures and sent updates about her time with them. And gosh, I loved these updates! They were detailed, and some made me laugh, these updates also kept me from worrying about my pets during a time when I had a lot going on. I would absolutely request Kayla again and I would certainly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter. We came home to happy and well cared for babies!”

“Mandy did a great job with Jake, my cat. I was confident that he was being well cared for and Mandy did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable. This was my first time using a pet sitter and I was very happy and will definitely use Mandy again for my next trip.”

“Yolena took care of my two dogs, two cats, and 10 chickens. We really appreciate her agreeing to the contract with such short notice and taking on the brood. We would definitely use her again and we really appreciate her care of our pets ❤️”

“Krystle did a great job caring for my two 5 month old kittens. She was timely in her communications and consistent with her drop in visits. I appreciated the pictures she shared too. I was confident they were in good hands and was able to enjoy my time away. Will definitely book her again!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my strong experience working with dogs and puppies of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with pets belonging to family and friends, which helped me build a solid foundation of hands-on experience with dogs in everyday home environments. I’m especially comfortable with puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need while learning routines like potty training, crate training, leash walking, and basic commands. I also enjoy helping reinforce positive behaviors through structure, repetition, and lots of encouragement. For adult dogs, I adapt easily to their personality—whether they are high-energy and need plenty of exercise or more relaxed and prefer a calm routine. I also have experience with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication reminders, and extra attention to comfort and mobility. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and behavioral cues, so they feel secure and understood while in my care. My goal is always to create a safe, trusting environment where dogs feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially with my availability in the afternoons and evenings. Since I work part time, I have ample time during the day to give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I enjoy spending my evenings going on walks, which would make it easy and consistent for me to provide daily exercise and outdoor time. I also look forward to using my free time for play, feeding, and bonding activities that help build trust and comfort with pets. In my home or a client’s home, I provide pet care with consistency, attentiveness, and respect for the animal’s routine and comfort level. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medication instructions if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. I make sure pets always have fresh water, regular meals, and a clean, safe environment. I prioritize daily exercise and enrichment through walks, playtime, and interaction suited to the pet’s age, energy level, and personality. I also focus on building trust through calm, patient handling and positive attention. In a client’s home, I am mindful of maintaining the space exactly as instructed, keeping things clean and secure, and making sure the pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I understand the importance of routine, so I do my best to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible for the pet while their owner is away. Overall, my approach is to care for each pet as if they were my own—providing reliable, loving, and responsible care tailored to their individual needs

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
