About: Hi, I’m Mary! I’ve been providing pet care through Rover since late 2017 and have nearly 9 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve worked with pets of all ages, personalities, and routines, and I take pride in being reliable, communicative, and easy to work with. I understand that every pet is different. Some want to play fetch for an hour, some prefer a leisurely walk, and some cats would rather supervise me from across the room. My goal is always the same: to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick potty break, taking your dog for a walk, or spending the day with your pup in daycare, I provide dependable care and plenty of attention. I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, daycare services, and cat drop-in visits throughout the week. I carefully manage my schedule to ensure every pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I pride myself on being reliable, responsive, and punctual. Whether you need ongoing care or help while you’re traveling, I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule and keep your pets happy and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow your instructions carefully, pay close attention to each pet’s routine, and provide regular updates throughout my visits. Building trust with both pets and owners is extremely important to me, and I strive to provide the same level of care I would want for my own animals.

About: I've had animals since I was a child and have taken care of them all of my adult life. I have personally fostered over 75 dogs through to their adoptions! I'm a trusted caregiver who can handle animals of all sizes, ages, abilities and temperaments! I love getting to know each animal's personality and how to best take care of them! With several dogs and a cat at home, I am always in pet care mode (and know how important it is to find a trusted sitter). Whether it is a drop-in or a boarding situation, I treat each pet like they are my own. (Also, our cat has his own "wing" of our home so he is not interacting with any visiting dogs.) We have two friendly, large dogs, Tennessee & Tucky who have been foster brothers to over 75 dogs of all sizes and ages. Having fostered so many dogs, I recognize that each animal is unique and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and how to best care for them. Whether the animals are in my house or their own, I will follow the owners' instructions and manage expectations so there are as few surprises as possible. I know how worrisome it can be to leave your pet(s) in the care of another, and I pride myself on making sure the animals are taken care of and enjoy themselves.

About: I have been a dog mom for over 12 years. I absolutely love dogs and will care for yours just as I do my own and provide your dog a happy home away from home. Our home is pet friendly- we have a doggie door and a fenced in yard. We allow dogs on our furniture. We can take walks around the neighborhood or walk to a private community dog park about a half mile away, if you like. Please reach out for a meet and greet or let us know if you need any additional information. I look forward to meeting and taking care of your dog! I am currently working from home full time, so would be able to take your dog outside frequently. If I already have a booking for that day, I will reach out to the owner to ensure there are no questions or concerns before booking another dog. I do have a 2 dog limit to ensure all dogs get along well. My home is dog friendly. Our back door leads to a fully fenced in yard. About: I love dogs and what they bring to our life! Your pup will hang out with a friendly and energetic 5-year old Golden Retriever, his name is Tango and he is great with other dogs! We have a large fenced in yard and we spend lots of time playing ball and chasing squirrels. I work from home and have plenty of time to take care of your pup. I only host one family at a time to make sure I give plenty of attention. I live in a neighborhood with lots of pet friendly walking areas. I have a large fenced in yard and pups are welcome in all living spaces at the house. They are allowed in beds and couches. If your pup is used to sleep in a crate, please bring it with you! For the safety of Tango and other dogs I do require a copy of vaccine records as well as flea, tick and heartworm preventive all being up-to-date.

“We had just arrived in the area and soon learned that we needed some help with our fur baby. My son and daughter-in-law suggested we try the “Rover” app and that’s where we found Karen. She invited us over for and meet and greet and Tucker immediately started checking out his surroundings. Leaving a pet with someone you’ve only met once is scary, but Karen’s sweet smile and kindness made us feel at ease. Tucker loved being at Karen’s and we’ve already booked our next daycare day! A+ in our mind!”

I appreciate her explaining thoroughly her process of what the daycare looks like at her home how it all works and like the required things that our dogs needed like crate training and being OK with cats. I especially liked that we got to do the meet and greet so our dogs got to meet her dog and that they got along really great. I just felt like it was very organized and when we did do our trial day she sent so many updates that were so detailed and it just made me feel really good about the entire situation. So we will definitely be booking with them again.”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Rachel was fantastic with me needing to book Cricket within days while being a new client and even being able to do a meet and greet the day I booked! Her flexibility was great. I gave her the run about cricket and her being dog reactive and Rachel ensured me that she would make sure Cricket would not interact with other dogs. When I picked her up Rachel was ready with her and gave me an entire summary of how cricket did and how she adjusted to a new environment. She even gave us a referral to a trainer to help with her reactivity! It was a success and we will be returning!”
