About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years. I also grew up in rural Oklahoma on a farm with many other animals, including dogs and cats. I love dogs and always worry when leaving my dog with anyone else. My philosophy is to treat someone else’s pet the way I would want my own pet to be treated and cared for. I will provide attention, pets, snuggles, walks playtime, and treats. Dogs are welcome to sleep next to me and my little dog and snuggle on the couch with us. I work full-time at an 8 to 5 type of job. Two days per week I go into the office for part of the day. My schedule is very flexible and I can work from home on different days when needed. I am off weekends and holidays. I will make sure your pet is safe is safe, cared for and loved. I take my own dog on walks to Pena Adobe and One Lake and around my gated apartment complex. About: I lived my best childhood in a farm where my uncle would care for a lot of animals.Cows, horses, goats, chickens, cats, dogs, you name it there was even an ostrich at one point 😂That’s where my love for animals really grew. I loved going over to my uncles farm because of all the animals he had. I loved interacting with all of them, playing with them, helping my family care for them, feed them.I’ve learned i’m an empath because i’ve always been drawn to animals. I’ve been taking care of dogs ever since I was ten years old. That’s when I finally convinced my parents to get my brothers and I a dog.My love for dogs is enormous. They really are a man’s best friend. I’ve been around animals my whole life but at the end of the days the doggies are always my favorite one. I’m currently not working at the moment so I can all the time in my day to be able to care and love for your pup. When meeting a dog I always let them smell me. They usually can smell my dog on me immediately. After we have established trust I make them feel nurtured and safe with me at all times.

“Sandra watched our dog, Kona, for 2 weeks and we had a great experience! We first had a meet and greet with her at a park near her house, and she was very nice and seemed trustworthy. She had her Pomeranian dog, Coco, with her who was very well-behaved and seemed to be very calm and not phased by our hyper dog. We felt comfortable with her when we met her, and she was also very responsive to our messages and questions. The drop-off and pick-up went smoothly, she sent us pictures throughout Kona’s stay with her, and our dog came back very calm, well-behaved, claws trimmed, smelling good, and obedient! She also ran out of Kona’s dog food during her stay and so graciously gave her her own dog’s food, which she did just fine with. We were very happy with Sandra’s services. We would book with her again if we could.”

I work for the military fortunately my schedule is set in stone and I only work 6 hours a day and have weekends off so I’m readily available. About: My name is Destiny and I grew up caring for large and small dogs and cats. I have hands-on experience raising puppies and kittens from birth through adulthood. As an adult, I continue to care for both cats and dogs, including adopted shelter cats and my own Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. Both of my dogs are neutered, gentle and affectionate. My Standard Poodle loves to run and play and can be wonderfully bouncy, but he's also surprisingly nurturing and likes to make sure everyone is okay. My Labrador is basically Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh—a lovely potato who is particularly drawn to wee, scrappy dogs. I actively study canine behavior and learning. I train and participate in dog sports including obedience, scent work/nose work, agility, Barn Hunt and NASDA. I'm comfortable observing canine body language, following established training and management routines, providing enrichment, and adapting my approach to the individual dog. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know animals as individuals. I don't expect every dog or cat to immediately love me, and I don't force interaction. I believe comprehensive care starts with paying attention to what makes an animal feel safe, comfortable and understood. I work from home with a flexible schedule and control over my own hours, which gives me plenty of time to incorporate walks, play, enrichment, meals, potty breaks and companionship throughout the day. Our household is unusually quiet and relaxed. There are no children in the home, and my neighborhood is a peaceful residential area that's well suited to walks and downtime. Pets staying with me have opportunities for activity and engagement, but also plenty of time and space to settle, nap and simply relax. Because I'm home much of the day, pet care fits naturally into my routine rather than having to be squeezed in around a long commute or rigid work schedule. I believe pet care starts with understanding the *individual* animal. I take time to learn each pet's normal routine, temperament, preferences, training cues, feeding needs and anything that may make them uncomfortable or stressed. My approach is calm, patient and attentive. I don't force interactions, and I pay close attention to body language and changes in behavior. I follow owners' established routines and management instructions carefully because consistency can make being away from home much easier for a pet. My home is clean, quiet, child-free and low-stress, in a peaceful residential neighborhood. I want visiting pets to have a comfortable place where they can play and engage when they want to, but can also settle and rest without constant activity, noise or disruption. When caring for pets in their own homes, I bring the same approach: respect the animal's familiar environment, follow the household's routines carefully, communicate reliably with the owner, and leave things exactly as I found them.
