With LIMA - I focus on showing what your dog needs to do to succeed instead of telling them what not to do. I believe guidance and confidence can train any dog with patience and hard work - I work with families closely and prioritize training plans and interventions in the home to hold progress. I am great with communication and stay on top of modifying the training plans.
What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation we will discuss any rising concerns - and general knowledge on the dog. We will create an efficient training plan together as well as advice for changes in the home / behavior in the meantime. I will meet with the dog - and assess any issues or changes I believe are suit. You will be left with a copy of the training plan.
Sessions
During the first session, we will work on: * Building engagement and focus with the handler * Teaching or strengthening foundational cues * Reinforcing calm and appropriate behaviors * Managing the environment to set the dog up for success * Preventing rehearsal of unwanted behaviors
