It becomes part of the dog

Six years of professional dog handling taught me how to read behavior before it becomes a problem. Two years of private client work taught me that the owner is always part of the equation. We’re not just training your dog — we’re building something you can actually maintain when I’m not in the room

Behavior experience

Barking
Jumping
Leash manners
House manners
Recall
Potty training

Training skill set

Puppy training
Adult dog training

What to expect

Consultation

When I meet your dog for the first time, I’m not thinking about commands yet. I’m thinking about trust. I’m not going to rush in. I want your dog to come to me — because a dog that’s anxious or shut down isn’t learning anything, they’re just surviving the session. Some dogs warm up fast. Some need a few visits before we touch a leash. Either way, we build from there.

Sessions

Typically in your home

Before I ever ask a dog to do anything, The first session is mostly assessment — how does this dog act, what are they actually telling us? That information shapes everything that comes after.

Positive Reinforcement

There’s a moment in every session where something just clicks. Two species, actually talking to each other in real time. That’s what I show up for. I use positive reinforcement because it works — but honestly because it listens. You can’t muscle your way to a dog that trusts you. I’m not trying to overpower what a dog is doing. I want to know why they’re doing it first.
