Your suPAWrhero has arrived!
As of 2021, I am a CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed). I also am a certified Fear Free Animal Trainer, with work experience in animal shelters, canine behavior, doggie daycare/boarding, and pet retail. Previous clients of mine have moved on to be certified as school therapy dogs, psychiatric service dogs, and AKC Canine Good Citizens.

Consultation
The goal for your consultation is for us to observe your dog’s behavior, come up with training goals, and determine approximately how many training sessions would be recommended for meeting these goals. It will be an opportunity for not only me to learn about you and your dog, but also it will allow you to get to know me and my training style as well!
Sessions
Each session is custom tailored to your dog and your training goals. We’ll be spending the hour doing hands-on training, so be sure to have a variety of small, soft treats your dog enjoys! While we train, I’ll demonstrate, then provide immediate feedback to ensure consistency (which turns into success!) For the first session, please remember to have your dog’s vaccination records ready. Between training sessions, be sure to practice the skills we work on together. 10-20 minutes a day is more than enough to reinforce our training.
More info
I wholeheartedly believe that people and dogs are partners. Even though we call it DOG training, we are just as much training ourselves (if not more!) because our consistency and behaviors effect theirs. Not only that, dog training is really learning clear and effective communication with our dogs. I use positive reinforcement, reward based training, which has scientifically been proven to be the most effective and successful form of training.
