About: I’ve grown up with childhood dogs of all kinds from tiny chihuahuas and mini labradoodles to big breeds like Saint Bernards. I’ve learned that every dog is different, and their care really depends on their breed, personality, and routine. I’ve helped care for my siblings’ pets, looked after cats and dogs for neighbors, and I’m confident handling different energy levels, sizes, and needs. I’m also a runner, so I love taking active dogs on longer walks, but I’m just as happy keeping older or more anxious pets company and making sure they feel safe and calm. I’m currently working two on-campus jobs this summer, but I still have plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I’m usually available for dog walks or check ins in the mornings, late afternoons, or early evenings, depending on the day. I’m great at keeping a routine and following instructions closely, and I’ll always make sure your pet is cared for on time. I live in a quiet campus dorm that’s clean, calm, and pet-safe. There’s nothing harmful lying around, and I’m happy to let pets on the bed or bring in a dog bed if needed. It’s a simple space, but I make sure it’s comfortable and welcoming. I’ll take your pet out for regular walks and give them plenty of attention while they’re here.

About: I have a dog myself (4 years old) and I understand how hard it is to find someone to take care of your dogs while you’re away. I would absolutely love if you trust me to watch your babies and I will send you lots of pictures and updates if you’re comfortable with that. I’m a graduate student at Appalachian State and live super close to campus so I’m at my apartment most of the day when I’m not in class. I am quite flexible, I do live in an apartment so a lot of what I’ll do with be out and about or playing with my dog if they’re good together. I am available to watch them often and I’m the only one on the home so you don’t have to worry about them running away for any reason.

Trade pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bella did amazing with our two dogs while we went out of town for a long weekend. We had a prior bad experience with Rover, so I was nervous to try again. However, Bella eased my mind from the very first message and we will definitely use her again to care for our girls!!! She did amazing with our 8 year old golden and our 7 month old Bernese mountain dog puppy!! We received updates and pics during her stay as well. We came home to happy dogs and a clean home. Thank you so much, Bella!

We had booked a ski trip to Beach Mountain and had to bring our German Shepherd last minute due to a recent diagnosis of epilepsy. We were too worried to leave her alone so the night before we booked Bella to sit with Lola for the day. Bella was absolutely amazing with our Lola! She was understanding of all of her medication's, emergency, rescue meds, and how to respond in the event of a seizure. While we were gone, Bella sent us pictures and updates of Lola. I could tell that she was so happy to have Bella there to keep her company! If ever, we are back in town we will be booking Bella again. I highly recommend her if you are in the area!
