Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mark helped us on short notice and was able to provide us peace and reassurance that our babies were cared for! Mark kept our male and female German Shepherds, and they had an absolute blast. Mark sent us multiple photos and videos and kept us very up-to-date on what they were doing throughout their visit. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a potter who works from my home studio, and I make my own schedule- so I can generally be flexible and accommodate your pets needs. I love having pets in my home, and breaking away from my studio to get some fresh air and puppy/kitty love too! If I’m working on a big project, it’s nice to have to flexibility to come and go from my studio when possible, or have your pet there with me- but I have worked out all kinds of house sit/drop in/boarding arrangements according to the needs of clients and their pets. Let’s talk! I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals. About: Your dog won't just be sitting around in my home, I'll likely be giving it attention or playing with it majority of my time (unless that's not what the dog wants). I love every size of dog, especially very large dogs that love to cuddle. I've owned a lab for 9 years and a blue heeler for 11. My lab has been everything from difficult to the most pleasant dog you'll meet so I have experience with it all. I often go on runs so if you have an athletic dog or one that needs lots of exercise I've got you. I have no time constraints after 2pm half of the week, and 4pm the other half of the week. If I am watching your dog at my place I am definitely not opposed to early morning walks, I enjoy getting up early to walk them.
