I cannot wait to meet and take care of your fur babies :) I am currently in nursing school only taking up 2 to 3 days a week. About: I have owned dogs, cats, bunny’s, and large livestock and I understand the importance in routines. I know how important a furry friend is and I hope to help. I am a detailed oriented person so I listen to the animals needs when prompted. I am currently a college student majoring in animal science. I am on campus most days of the week but I am open to dropping in, in the mornings and evenings. I care for the pets by following their routines and needs. If the want attention and want to play I am more then happy to give them some. If they want a nap and to be left alone I will give them their space. And during their times to eat they will get their food at their designated times.

About: About me: I have time & quality care to give to the pet(s) you love while walking or pet/house sitting because I'm an online college student. I have 22 years of dog, cat and other pet care experience to include pet walking, training, transporting, vet visits & pet/house sitting listed in detail below. I'm starting in the job field of Animal Behavior on completion of my college degree. My previous career of 21 years was in oceanography, & I look forward to giving your pet the love and attention they deserve. Experience in DOG CARE: In the last 22 years, on the side of my regular job, I have been trusted by family, friends and new clients via word of mouth to pet sit for canines of all sorts to include senior dogs, dogs with cancer, high energy dogs, shy and nervous dogs, a Great Dane, puppies and multi-pet households. Experience in CAT CARE: I've been cat sitting for 21 years for senior cats, cats with diabetes, cats with swimmer’s syndrome, one cat in a wheelchair, shy cats, active cats, multi-pet households, hairless cats, indoor/outdoor cats, indoor only cats, outdoor only cats & kittens. ADDITIONAL PET CARE: I also have 22 years' pet sitting experience with other pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fresh water fish, turtles, geese and pigs. In my free time, I've rescued, rehabilitated, trained, fostered and been a pet owner to both dogs and cats in Texas, Virginia, California, Hawaii, Spain and the Kingdom of Bahrain. I have also volunteered at animal rescue and no-kill shelters in all of those places as follows: Humane Society, PAWS of Texas, Hawai'i Bird Rescue, Hawai'i Marine Animal Response, Rota Animal Welfare League Spain, and Bahrain SPCA. I am available for walking, pet/house sitting, pet care, vet visits, pet transportation and moving because I'm a full-time online university student. I have my own reliable transportation to come to you, but I do not have the availability to board animals in my residence at this time. My goal is to keep your pet(s) in their routine with the same worry-free, stress-free care as you have set up for them for walking, pet/house sitting, pet care, vet visits, pet transportation or moving. I have my own reliable transportation to come to you. I offer pet transportation in my own vehicle as well, but I do not have boarding facilities available at this time.

About: While I too enjoy traveling I know how it can be when you can’t take your 4 legged family member(s) with you. I have 2 of my own Lionhead )fluff ball) bunnies of my own. I love fur babies of all breeds, shapes and sizes. While I don't have a dog or cat due to my hubbies allergies. I do love them all. Most of my friends or family have dog(s)/cat(s) and they all seem to love me and want my attention when I visit family and friends. When I 1st moved to Dallas my friend needed someone to let her dog out a couple times of day due to her long work hours. I was there to let Jackie out to potty and socialize. I became his Auntie Robin. Now every time I go to visit my friend he thinks I'm there for him and walk and play time. Of course I do this as he is so loveable I'm happy to go for a walk and play with my fur friend while visiting with my friend. I recently cared for my neighbors large and small dogs, 2 cats and a bird on a last minute need while they went away for the holiday weekend. I did home visit twice a day as requested. I would spend 30-45 minutes at the home as the owners requested. The dogs knew me & I was like family. They were happy to see me. I feed them, played with them, let them out to potty and gave appropriate treats for good behavior. My last day they dogs laid on top of me like I was their family. The dogs also listened to me when it was time to kennel them even though they didn't want to go in they did. I currently volunteer for the past 12 years with a domestic rabbit rescue. I go out to the rescue when I can to help, feed, care for special needs bunnies, clean up them yard/x-pens where the bunnies are housed. I give medication when needed. Including medication by means of oral, drops and shots. Including helping with the rescue I also foster bunnies in my home in addition to my 2 fur babies of lionhead bunnies. One of which can be seen in my pictures. Pet sitting/house sitting is my primary job. I enjoy spoiling my pets along with my clients pets. This makes my clients able to enjoy holiday or work trips without worry. As I make sure to treat the clients pet like my own and give lots of love and care like their human. Every pet not matter if my pet, friends, family or a client is an important part of my life when I’m with them. I make sure they know I’m there for them and I will love and care for them at all times.

About: As a child, my siblings and I raised dogs and cats at our country house. Therein, I spent a large portion of my childhood with animals, where I learned to respect them and appreciate how unique and loveable they can be. I am working part-time, which gives me plenty of time to either check in on your pets, walk them, or spend time with them. I love cats and dogs equally. I have three dogs at home, two of them are big dogs and one of them is small. The first two I mentioned, were rescued as puppies-and so I have a deep appreciation for all types of dogs and cats, despite their pasts. I also have a history with cats, the number of them I cannot say, but I love taking care of them too.

About: I’ve owned a Labrador for 17 years and have been taking care of dogs the last 8 years. I’ve been entrusted to walk, feed, play, & groom pets of friends and neighbors, and Lola got along with all of them. Keeping them on a routine was fine. I was able to teach Lola many commands using verbal and hand gestures. Discipline and routine is something I enforce so that the pups don’t get restless energy with new changes.❤️ Lola has recently passed away, so my availability has opened much more. I am a personal chef and build my own schedule. I recently moved back to Corsicana area and am happy to meet new pets & clients. I make sure to be on time and keeping the dog in routine and discipline that has been established by you and yours. I can crate your pet. I can cuddle with them too! I’m a super affectionate care taker.

About: With my love for animals, along with my bubbly and outgoing personality, I’m able to bring even the shyest animal out of their sell, giving me my the animal whisperer I currently work part time (weekends) as a nanny, but I also want to bring even more joy into my life by taking care of your fur babies weekdays! First I let the fur baby get to know me in order to create a calm, loving, happy, and peaceful environment and relationship. Secondly I then check any list and rules that the fur parents might have given me, to ensure that the fur baby is taken care of properly. Thirdly I then play and interact with the fur baby for 30 minutes so they can let out any pint up zoomies. Lastly I clean anything I have used and check that all windows and doors are closed and locked before leaving.

About: I’ve been caring for animals of all kinds since I was 15. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted our family to take care of their furry companions, regardless of their size. We have ample time to play and provide care for your animals! I’m available all day, every day, if needed. Currently, I’m not working. We recently moved into the area, so until we settle in, I’ll be working full-time with Rover. I have a spacious, fully fenced-in backyard where your animals can run and play. Additionally, I have a sweet, almost-a-year-old puppy who will keep your fur babies entertained while you’re away. I’m currently not working. My husband has a full-time job, and I stay home with our kids. My daily routine consists of picking up and dropping off the kids, unless I’m required to attend the children’s ministry on Tuesdays. I have ample time to spend quality time with your furry friends. I have a fully fenced in backyard with toys and beds if you’re needing stay in my home, I can also use a crate if needed.

About: I’ve had big AND small dogs my entire childhood! I’ve also taken care of horses, steers, pigs, chickens, birds (exotic), dogs, cats! After growing up with only dogs and small house pets (hamsters, crabs, fish, frogs, and lizards)In my adulthood, my husband and I have opened our home to several rescues through the six years we’ve been together. At our home we consider ourselves “last owners” animals come to us to live out the rest of their lives, comfortable and loved. We’ve been by the side of 6 rescue birds, a few kittens and one chameleon to watch them cross over the rainbow bridge, and complete their journey. Between Gage (my husband) and I we have 10 cats (willow, meadow, sushi, pumpkin, chai, jenny, lucifer, salem, peggy & naruto) 5 birds (blanca, bleezy, grim, puffer & mongo bongo - she’s a 46 year old scarlett macaw! - ) 1 dog, (chief) 1 chameleon (pascal) and 1 scalata tortoise (torchy) ! we are obviously big animal lovers!! In conclusion, We both have tons of experience around all species of animal and we want your trip to be focused on enjoying YOUR vacation plans, and not worried about if your fur babies were left in the wrong hands! Most of my clients do not have children and their pet is their child. I want to you as the parent of your sweet baby, to be confident when you walk out the door knowing i’ll be there I can not wait to care for all of your babies, fur or reptile! please feel free to reach out to me send ask about my process of meeting the baby and we can discuss pricing! (if it’s too expensive DONT PANIC! we can communicate and i will really take whatever you’d like to pay. I understand vacations are very expensive and I don’t want you to have to choose between a fun tour or activity with you family vs having adequate care for your baby while you’re away. If you think i’m perfect for your home and baby, please let me know what you can pay and i will always work it out! I AM WILLING TO DRIVE AND TRAVEL TO YOU (OUT OF STATE) MY MILAGE IS SET TO 100 MILES LETS TALK!) My husband and I currently have 5 birds, a dog, and a seven kittens, we also are thinking about getting a bearded dragon and we currently have a scalata tortoise! We’re big animal lovers and would love to take care of any your sweet babies! We’re pretty flexible, I’m a full time ROVER sitter!! He works at Total Wine in Cedar Hill. If I’m not available my husband definitely is! Currently my husband works at Total Wine & More in Cedar Hill. When I / we stay in your home I will most likely be there all day! Rover is my full time job so whatever care your baby needs I’ll make sure to be on top of it! Most bookings I would like to keep my husband with me wherever I am (just for safety reasons), BUT if you’re not comfortable with that I TOTALLY understand and I’m more than willing to stay without my husband!! I want to do whatever makes YOU AND YOUR BABIES safe, happy and comfortable!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
