“I highly recommend Ian and his family for providing a safe, engaging and loving home for any dog! We left our 2 year old German Shepherd mix for almost a week while we traveled over the holidays and he thrived in their care. Every request we had for his care was meticulously provided and so much more… I’m surprised our dog wanted to come home to us! Photo and video updates daily insured us of our dog’s wellbeing and allowed us to not worry about him at all. We’d give a rating of 10 stars if it was possible! Thanks, Ian!”

“Erica was amazing! She kindly took on Bruce with no complaints even though he was a puppy. She kept me updated everyday and sent numerous photos for me to view which helped us stress less about leaving Bruce after just welcoming him into our family not too long ago. Erica is well prepped with toys, snacks, and play areas for any cat or dog and I highly recommend her for your pup or kitty!”

“Newbie to Rover.. Bobbie was great with my fur baby's. She was really good to them keeping them cool in this heat. She was quick to respond and sent plenty of pictures to keep my mind at ease. Thank you. I highly recommend her. Thank you”

“I would highly recommend using Amber to watch your dog. She treated my bulldog like her own and took amazing care of him. She kept in touch the whole time she had him and sent pictures to make sure I knew he was doing well. She even trimmed his toe nails. Definitely use Amber if you want your dog treated like family.”

“I couldn’t recommend Kylie enough. She communicated very well throughout the week she cared for my dog, sent pictures frequently of him and let me know how he was doing. About: Hi! I'm Brooke, and caring for animals is truly one of my biggest passions. In my free time, I volunteer at my local animal shelter, where I help with everything from cleaning kennels, feeding dogs, washing dishes, doing laundry, walking dogs, socializing them, and helping them feel loved while they wait for their forever homes. I've also fostered dogs, giving them a safe and loving place to stay until they're adopted, and I have several pets of my own that I absolutely adore. Because of my experience, I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, and I understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, medication, feeding, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I'm dependable, patient, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you're gone. The only time I am out and about is when I’m volunteering at my local shelter. I care for the pets however the owner would like me to under whatever rules they have for their pet while still caring for the pet like it’s my own

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
