I have taken care of fish, chickens, cows and horses. I am insured I am a non smoker, I do not charge by the nbr of animals nor do I bring anyone or any pets to Your home! If they like to ride in the car they can run errands with me if necessary and I can get them to their groomer. If boarding at my house the animals are kept separate! I have divided yards and will start daily boarding April 15 2026 Sharla Johnson - I work part time from home So I am available during the day and for overnight stays! I am a non smoker if it matters and I can provide references. My overnight rate is not 24/7 stays. I can do that at a different rate I’ll care for pets in my clients home! I do enjoy cleaning so I would love to keep their little areas clean and tidy, I can clean their litter boxes, vacuum and litter scattered on the ground if needed, clean their food and water bowls, provide fresh water, assist with any medications for them, etc!

Have been pet sitting for 10+ years and have yet to meet a dog/pet I don't adore? I'm willing to work with anyone's pet and meet them beforehand to make sure they feel comfortable with me. I have also helped with a special needs doggo who was blind, gave him his medicine, guided him through his backyard to use the restroom, etc. I would also love to provide any cleaning such as cleaning their bowls, vacuuming up any hair, cleaning crates, etc. I work 24 hours on/ 48 hours off at a time so I have a bit more free time and would love to be a helping companion to your sweet animals! I always listen to the let parents and how their schedule typically is and go off of that, I really do love animals so I’ll spend more time playing with them, especially if the doggo wants that play time and extra love!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the longest time. I grew up with all different kinds of dogs and cats, I’m very well experienced. I currently work every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday but when I get off work I’m available. When I 1st moved to Dallas my friend needed someone to let her dog out a couple times of day due to her long work hours. I was there to let Jackie out to potty and socialize. I became his Auntie Robin. Now every time I go to visit my friend he thinks I'm there for him and walk and play time. Of course I do this as he is so loveable I'm happy to go for a walk and play with my fur friend while visiting with my friend. I recently cared for my neighbors large and small dogs, 2 cats and a bird on a last minute need while they went away for the holiday weekend. I did home visit twice a day as requested. I would spend 30-45 minutes at the home as the owners requested. The dogs knew me & I was like family. They were happy to see me. I feed them, played with them, let them out to potty and gave appropriate treats for good behavior. My last day they dogs laid on top of me like I was their family. The dogs also listened to me when it was time to kennel them even though they didn't want to go in they did. I currently volunteer for the past 12 years with a domestic rabbit rescue. I go out to the rescue when I can to help, feed, care for special needs bunnies, clean up them yard/x-pens where the bunnies are housed. I give medication when needed. Including medication by means of oral, drops and shots. Including helping with the rescue I also foster bunnies in my home in addition to my 2 fur babies of lionhead bunnies. One of which can be seen in my pictures. Pet sitting/house sitting is my primary job. I enjoy spoiling my pets along with my clients pets. This makes my clients able to enjoy holiday or work trips without worry. As I make sure to treat the clients pet like my own and give lots of love and care like their human. Every pet not matter if my pet, friends, family or a client is an important part of my life when I’m with them.
