1. Melanie C.
“I can't thank Melanie enough for taking such great care of my Sunshine. She took care of her like she was her own; with loving kindness. Melanie walked Sunshine everyday and took her to some great parks to run and play. Every time Melanie came over for a walk, Sunshine knew it was vacation time! Melanie is professional; always on time and is full of creativity and spirit. Can't wait to hire her again!”
2. Nancy L.
“Nancy was great great with Hannah the husky! She visited prior to her scheduled walks and made sure she knew Hannah's quirks, personality and where she would like to walk. We live where there are no sidewalks or side roads, so it can be a challenge. Nancy gave me a little update on Hannah during and after each walk - complete with photos! If your pup needs some attention while you're away, Nancy is great.”
3. Rachel S.
“Rachel was wonderful!! She walked our Gabby Girl with no problem. I had nothing to worry about while I was out of town. Communication was perfect. Gabby told us all about her adventures and loved Rachel also. I would use Rachel again and again!”
4. Carolina E.
“Carolina has been courteous, flexible and kind enough to watch our 70 lb Lab/Sheppard mix on two separate occasions now for multiple days each. Each time, all requests seem to have been followed, and the dog does not seem stressed when we return. She has a kind demeanor and a direct quality that we appreciate. I would definitely recommend her for your pet-sitting needs.”

“Prompt and reliable. Thank you!”
8. Brianna B.
“Brianna is everything you'd want in a dog sitter/walker! She's punctual, loves animals, and understands that different dogs need different things. Our dog was adopted from a shelter after spending a year on the streets as a stray; he can be sketchy around people and other dogs. Brianna knew how to respect his space and earn his trust. Leaving him with Brianna, I always have peace of mind!”

11. Paula B.
“Paula was such a great dog sitter for me. I have Parkinson’s and I was no longer able to walk my dogs. She would take them on walks around the neighborhood/to parks/dog approved areas and etc. The dogs loved her and I’m very grateful for her.”
12. Rhiannon L.
“Rhiannon is absolutely amazing!! We are excited that we feel comfortable going on vacation again knowing our dog Tito is so well taken care of. Tito is 16 and has advanced doggie dementia. He can no longer be watched by family/friends at their homes because it increases his anxiety and makes everyone miserable. We even have family that did not feel comfortable watching him here in our home. We were really itching to go on a short trip, I felt like it was a shot in the dark but we asked our vet if she had any in home care recommendations and she immediately replied that she had the perfect person. Rhi was very good at maintaining communication with me before the trip and making sure she had all the info she needed to best care for Tito. She even came over to meet him and check out the house and his routine. After meeting her in person we were so happy to have met her and felt instantly comfortable leaving Tito in her care. It was a bonus that she was excited to spend time with our old boy too. While watching him she spent a lot of time with him and did great helping him through his many anxious moments. He is on multiple medications that need to be given at different times of the day and she had no issue keeping him on track. We were never once worried about him and it was the best feeling. I could not say a single negative thing about our experience and highly recommend her to anyone looking for care. The only reason I wouldn’t want to recommend Rhi is so that we could keep her all to ourselves 😁”
13. Emily C.
“What makes Emily a great option for a dog caregiver is her loving and kind personality. I have personally gone with her to babysit, and I have seen the way she cares for the children, as well as the family pets. Emily shows a great deal of attentativeness when it comes to taking care of things, especially those that belong to others. The love she has for animals reflects in the way she takes care of them. She truly is great with pets, and is an all around great person. I would trust her to take care of mine, and that’s saying something!”

About: I’ve fostered puppies for 5+ years and have owned 4 dogs (large-small). I’ve dealt with sick dogs and training puppies/adult dogs. I’ve worked at a Pet boarding/daycare facility. I have plenty of experience with a wide range of personalities. I currently work at an animal hospital! I love working with animals as I don’t view it as work. Please let me know your dogs preferences for care and walks. I am adaptable to all personalities. I keep my mind open to all dogs as every dog is different. I try to understand dogs personality as some may have more anxiety or be more explosive with energy. I love playing with dogs, assuring they have water and fed regularly, and I love going to the dog park or the beach! I do not mind giving a bath at no extra fee. I work part-time at the pet resort, but I have a an open availability. I can work most nights and mornings. If you have specific dates in mind, send a message and I can set aside time. I will be respectful of the owners space, as I am only there to watch over the animals. I am someone who prefers to keep a clean space so I guarantee your space to be kept as is.
15. Morgan T.
“In my whole life, I have never known anyone who cares more about animals than Morgan. I have seen her rescue and take great care of feral cats which became loving house cats under her care. Morgan has an empathetic heart and a very responsible ethic, and I have left town many times knowing that my cats are safe and happy in Morgan‘s care. No one better for the job!”

17. Kristi Q.
About: I am new to Rover through friends and other sites have now done many housesits with dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, and more! For me, there is nothing better than getting to spend the day between online work sessions throwing a ball or going for a walk around to explore with the best canine companion. I have lots of experience adjusting to different dogs' routines. I mostly have experience with smaller dogs, though have cared for the occasional one bigger dog at a time. I try to connect with each animal under my care and make sure they are comfortable, attended to, and loved. I have raised my own dog, Violet, from Day 1, so I am experienced with puppy care. I have also cared for several senior dogs and really love taking the extra time with them, whether a slower walk, attention to a skin condition, or extra attention to food and medication. I work online teaching literature and creative writing, so I am around all day, taking the occasional few-hour trip out to run errands or go to appointments. I have lots of flexibility to adjust to any dog's usual schedule and make sure they have attention and my presence. I have always worked hard at leaving a light footprint when I housesit. I am very aware of leaving things how I found them and honoring each person's space. And I follow that for pets as well -- sensing into their routines and habits and fitting myself into that flow. I especially appreciate any written instructions or routines to refer back to and will make sure I am carrying out each person and animal's expectations. I also make sure to send regular photos and updates and will promptly share any concerns or questions. For now, I'm available for drop-in visits or walks and also for housesitting, but only for owners and pets who would be open to having another dog -- my 26lb dog Violet -- in their home. She has been on many housesits and does well with animals of all kinds. I make sure to ease them into the situation and spend time with each dog separately. Violet basically ignores cats, so we would be open to any dog-tolerating felines.

19. Maddie L.
About: I have grown up with animals my entire life, and I have endless love for them. I enjoy taking them for walks, playing with them, or snuggling on the couch. I can be strict and set rules, while still forming a bond of trust. My schedule is flexible allowing me to easily take care of animals since I am at home the majority of the time. I am active so walking and playing with the animals is not a problem at all. I have a large yard for them to play in, and my home is clean with lots of comfortable places for the dogs or cats.
20. Malissa T.
“I rebooked Malissa and was not disappointed. I rebooked her for walks not a housesitting this time and I found my dog happy. She also sent me pictures and was on time for the walks. I trust her completely and already rebooked her for the end of July housesitting.”
