“Jailah was incredible! She helped me when I made several errors making my first booking. She sent great pics and was great with the dogs! Definitely will book again:).”

“We always love Keyona and this time we hired her to take our dog Lucy for three weeks while we were away. She was so flexible and accommodating, and she's the only one we'd trust to take our fur baby for that long. She acted very responsibly when she noticed Lucy was itchy. We always miss Lucy while we're away but Keyona sends pictures and let's us know how she's doing. It was so clear how much our dog loves Keyona when I picked her up and she didn't want to leave. We highly recommend Keyona!!”

“He has watched my puppy twice now and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. He goes above and beyond what is requested to ensure that everything goes smoothly. He was very communicative and I look forward to continue booking with him in the future.”

“Sabrina is amazing!! Very communicative and checks in during the visit. My dog seems super happy having her around and am grateful for the love and attention she gives!”

“I’ve always liked the idea of Rover’s service even if I’ve never needed them before. I love being able to see a sitter’s profile to decide a compatible fit, but even better I love being able to have a meet and greet. Jessica met my expectations and then some. Her genuine love of dogs and knowledge of their care gave me all the peace of mind I needed to leave my dogs in her care for the first time, especially on a last minute need. I look forward to booking with Jessica again!”

“I thoroughly enjoyed having her watch my 14 week old puppy. She was very thorough and communicative. She went out her way to meet him before the drop in visit and even made sure to clean up an accident he made in his crate during her scheduled drop in visit. I look forward to future bookings!”

About: I've always been drawn to animals who are most in need - emotionally and physically. And that means I've gained experience helping animals with medical needs. Since I was 9, I've owned, fostered, delivered, and cared for dogs, cats, and kittens. I have also had a few fish and cared for reptiles and rats, mice, and hamsters. My Norfolk terrier, Chester, had intervertebral disc disease when he was 5. Thankfully, with medical treatment, he regained feeling in his legs! I can give pills without pill-pockets, as well as liquid medicine. I've given shots. And I've administered subcutaneous fluids twice per day to 2 kittens who had panleukopenia virus so they wouldn't get euthanized. But every animal has various needs, medical or otherwise, and deserves the same and equal love and attention. I'd love to care for your cats or dogs as well! At home, a having a senior dog becomes a daily and weekly routine! As with all animals, that means: eat, poop, play, snuggle, nap, love, repeat! Animals are so smart. They know OUR routines and live by them. They say: "She's washing her face at nighttime? That must mean it's time to go outside before sleep! [yaawwn]" I'd love to have a routine with your pet! Initially, getting to know your fur baby/babies will be about taking it slow, giving them the right body (and facial) cues, being consistent, and building a routine. If you're ok with me giving them a treat, I'll do so based on your recommendation. If not, I'll just smell like I have treats! If you choose in-home services, I'll be on your pet's home turf, and I'm always letting your pet decide the play and love that they're comfortable with. If you're requesting pet-walking, your pet will require leadership, for safety reasons and for them to properly relax. Either way, your fur baby will be comfortable and at ease!

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

“Victoria was 2nd mommy to my baby Savannah! She was very comfortable with her minutes into the meet & greet. Her experience and her love for dogs is immediately recognizable. I will only leave my baby in Victoria’s care from now on ❤️”

“Elaina was wonderful and took great care of all my animals! She sent informative updates with photos, and I was able to completely relax while being on vacation, knowing my critters were in great hands. 😻 🐈 🐓”

“Betsy is the besty. I was really anxious about leaving my old man cat in the hands of a complete stranger for a couple of days, but after Betsy’s first check-in I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. She was prepared, professional, and provided updates on her check-ins beyond what is required by Rover. Knowing that she has professional training in caring for animals gave me peace of mind that she could handle administering ear drops to my cat, which she did. I highly recommend Betsy.”

Cindy O.Star Sitter
“Cindy is an excellent dog sitter. Over the last ten years, she has cared for our dog, Lindsey. Either for a short weekend, or for an extended vacation my husband and went on. We had no worries knowing he was in good hands. Cindy lives alone and has no pets of her own because she does go out of town occasionally. She has a doggy door in her kitchen which allows Lindsey to go to her huge fenced-in back yard carpeted with St. Augustine grass. Cindy is trustworthy and reliable. Dogs don't lie, and if they like you, you know it. Cindy loves my Lindsey, and he loves her too. If Cindy is available, you would be blessed for her to care for your dog.”

“Roslind is an excellent and caring dog sitter. My two schnauzers love her. I've used her on several occasions. She even kept them for me when I had a medical procedure done. I was able to recuperate with ease knowing my Schnauzer's were in caring hands. I plan to use her this summer while on cruise.”
