He even made smalll adjustments, of course letting us know first, to ensure if there was poor weather that day he timed it within a window so he could let our pups out without it pouring rain. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. I rescued my first baby, Dory, a little over 5 years ago and my heart has never been more full. Since then I have rescued another dog and 2 cats. Pet care is an essential part of my daily routine. Taking care of animals is second nature and something I’m truly passionate about. My animals are my world and I am excited to share that love with even more animals. I have a fenced in yard that my 2 dogs love to spend time in. They have an overflowing basket of toys that always seems to be scattered across the house and yard. We take them for walks around the neighborhood and every so often we take them for a hike.
“Kelsey took great care of our two German Shepherds. Kelsey arrived on time to each scheduled visit, send pictures of our dogs, and was easily communicated with us . I will definitely hire Kelsey to care for our dogs again.”
About: I have taken care of pets for nearly 10 years. From Dogs to cat to even birds. I’m the person that will walk your dog in the snow and enjoy it. I am also the person that will play with your cat for an hour straight. Pets are family and that’s how they deserve to be treated. I’m currently a bartender and big time traveler. I’m looking to make extra cash on weekends by doing what I love which is taking care of your little furry ones. I have fenced in yard for my dogs as well as indoor cats. My pets eat twice a day on a cautious diet due to them being elderly. I walk my dogs everyday if I can and play with my cat every single day as he is old but he’s very playful.
“Jessica has been fantastic during drop-in visits for our dog Buddy! It was clear the second she walked in our home that she knows and loves dogs. Buddy was instantly comfortable with her thanks to her warm and welcoming demeanor. Knowing Buddy has someone that we can trust to drop-in while we are at work is very comforting. Highly recommend Jessica!!”

About: I have animal sat for neighbors, family and friends. I love being outside and caring for animals. I have experience feeding bathing and walking dogs of all sizes! I am available mornings and evenings for walks! I am waiting to start another job so I will be flexible until the end of summer! I am able to come by and let your dogs out and take them on walks, I have friends and family who I do this for as well!
“Christy did an amazing job! The dogs love her and she is so gentle and kind. I texted her asking if she could drop in a few hours early one day because our schedule changed. She immediately responded and dropped in on our dogs within minutes. We were feeding one of our dogs chicken and rice and we ran out and she offered to bring some on her next drop in! We couldn't ask for better service and care! We will book her again!”

About: I have had two dogs one of them since they were a puppy. I have been asked to dog sit for multiple families on more than one occasion. I follow the structure/ times the families are usually home. I have no problem transporting dogs in my car if necessary. I can give oral medication as necessary as well.
“This was my first experience with Rover. Greg did a great job with my cats. He was very thorough and responsive and made sure that three cats are happy. He kept in touch and responded quickly to any questions. I highly recommend Greg to anyone for a pet sitter.”

About: I have grown up with animals my entire life. I love all animals. Cats and dogs are my favorite. But I have also dealt with sugar gliders as well. If you are looking for someone that loves animals I am the girl you are looking for. I am very reliable and trustworthy with your furry family member. I love animals and wish one day to possible have a shelter of my own to help all animals I need of help. If you need someone to help with baths I can do that too. I can do drop in after 6am -11am and then I can go back after 4pm till 9pm ! I work at ups in the early morning then take care of kids during the mid afternoon into early evening. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
