About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals. From 2019 to 2024, I have trained and cared for my Belgian Malinois, developing strong skills in obedience training, behavior management, exercise routines, and positive reinforcement techniques. I also worked as a Shift Supervisor at a pet store for a year and a half, where I assisted customers with pet care needs, handled and cared for animals, and helped ensure their health and well-being. In addition to dogs, I currently own and care for two reptiles, giving me experience with specialized husbandry requirements, including habitat maintenance, feeding schedules, temperature and humidity monitoring, and general health observation. I am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments and have experience providing basic animal medical care, including administering medications, monitoring for signs of illness or injury, and following treatment instructions. My background has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, safety, and the importance of providing attentive, compassionate care to every pet. My schedule allows me to provide pet care services between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days a week. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, midday check-in, feeding, exercise, or an evening visit, I am happy to help. With experience handling dogs of all sizes, basic medical care knowledge, and reptile husbandry experience, I can provide reliable and attentive care tailored to your pet’s needs! Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special care instructions. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and needs to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. With six years of experience training and caring for my Belgian Malinois, experience handling dogs of all sizes, and a background as a pet store Shift Supervisor, I am confident working with a variety of animals. I also have experience providing basic animal medical care and caring for reptiles. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I maintain a clean, safe environment and provide regular updates so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands.

About: Hello! My name is Shawntel and I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had 2 dogs and 4 cats. Now I have three dogs that I couldn't imagine my life without them, with two of them being rescues. When I’m booked for house/dog sitting, my dad gets to stay and spend time with his grand-pups (: One is a German Shepard mix, another one is a Pitbull, Husky, Lab mix, and my newest addition is a golden doodle! The German Shepard is a senior so I am used to making accommodations for animals as well as giving mediations. It doesn't matter if they are young or old, big or small, boy or girl-- I love them all. I am currently a first grade teacher in Lake County which I recently took time away from dog sitting to focus on my new position. But now I’m back!! So I am available before and after the school day during the week for your animals and pretty free on the weekends. I am usually pretty flexible so if you need anything special for your animal, just let me know! I also dedicate my summers and school breaks to house/dog sitting! I truly believe that a well taken care of animal is a happy one, and who doesn't want their fur baby happy?! I look forward to meeting you and your sweet animal(s)!! About: Available for both walks and drop-in visits; early morning or after 3-4. I have a very sweet dog of my own (his name is Cooper and he gets along very well with other dogs, if your dog ever likes playing/walking with other dogs). He is full of energy, so I am used to long walks and lots of play time. I am also willing to run with your dog if you want / if they enjoy that! I have experience with puppies, special needs dogs, and older dogs. Feel free to leave special instructions so that your pup gets the best care possible. About: I very much enjoy engaging with and taking care of all types of animals and I have owned and cared for animals since childhood. I have the most experience with cats and dogs but have owned and looked after a range of other pets as well. I can provide the appropriate level of care and attention to your pets that you are looking for and am more than happy to provide as many photos or updates for you to feel good about being away. From puppies to elderly pets I have cared for all ages and types of pets! My goal is to get as many regular clients as possible, so I am very open to working through rates that work for both sides for ongoing or regular services. I have a large SUV so i can also do drop off and pickup if that would be helpful. Because I work from home full-time, I'm able to offer a level of flexibility. I can usually accommodate early mornings, evenings, last-minute requests, and everything in between — just ask! Punctuality and reliability are something I take seriously, so you can always count on me to be there when I say I will. My home is welcoming for all animals and there is an acre and a half in the back with plenty of room to play. I am active and engaged with animals and will make sure any routine or special care requirements are followed.
