“Lauren was great. Excellent communication. Sent pics while I was gone. Never worried. Great property, lots of room to play. Definitely be using Lauren in the future.”

“Gracie and Gunnar came home very happy and tired. Which was a relief since Gunnar tends to get very stressed when we leave him any where besides home. Also happy that Gracie got to hang out with kiddos. She loves children. It was a easy commute and felt at ease leaving my fur-babies with Jamie. Definitely will be user her again!”

“Randi was wonderful! She has great communication and shared photos of our pup every day. It’s clear our dog felt very comfortable with her. We would definitely love to have Randi watch our dog again.”

“Kirsten was so amazing with our pup Millie! Her dog Roxy and Millie played so well together and we would get picture updates of what she was up to that day - which we loved! Fun plays in the backyard, walks, and enjoying the sunshine:) Couldn’t recommend Kirsten enough! She was so great! 10/10!!”

“Jessica was the best!!!!! As soon as I dropped my dog off at her house I knew I left my dog in good hands. He immediately went outside in there beautiful fenced back yard to play with other dogs. Jessica sent me pictures and gave me updates so I knew how my dog was doing while I was away. This isn’t just a job for Jessica. I could tell she loves dogs and takes good care of them; treats them like her own dogs. I would strongly recommend her and I will be calling her again!”

“Our Annie girl thrived with Courtney and her family! They were so helpful and arranged a meet and greet with us prior to booking and sent pictures and updates throughout Annie’s stay! Amazing first experience!”

“Stacey was fantastic! She is the first person we have used on Rover so we were a little nervous about having a stranger watch pepper. She sent photo and video updates and was so cute with her! Would recommend to anyone who wants their fur baby in good hands!”
“Our dogs love it at their house! This is the second time we’ve used them to watch our dogs and when we got out of the car both dogs ran excitedly to their house. Plus, I think pepper gets the ball thrown from her a lot more than at our house.”

“Emily and her family were so great with our 3 dogs while we were gone for a week. She sent photos all the time and was very responsive when I had questions. I highly recommend them!”

“We had such a great experience with Krista watching our mini Goldendoodle. She sent lots of pictures and updates while we were gone. I will totally book with her again in the future.”

“Kim had at our rambunctious American bulldog for nine days. He requires lots of love, attention and exercise. She did great with him and was good at keeping us updated with information and pictures. Zeus loves Kim!”

About: I’ve been involved with various animal rescue organizations for more than 30 years and have extensive experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and medical conditions. I’ve fostered many animals over the years and have helped with adoptions, medical visits, home visits, shelter assessments, and fundraising and community events. I’ve also personally rescued and cared for animals with health issues and have extensive experience with dogs who may need extra patience, understanding, or specialized care. I’m very active and love having dogs join me in the fun. I hike, bike, ski, and paddleboard, and I’m always happy to have a furry companion along for an adventure. Of course, I’m equally happy spending a quiet day at home with a dog curled up on the couch getting plenty of love and extra snuggles. My two senior dogs recently passed away, and I truly miss having dogs in my home. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and I would love the opportunity to give your dog the same attention, affection, and care I’ve given my own. I have a very flexible schedule that will allow me to accommodate your pet's needs. I like to adhere to a schedule your pet is accustomed to. My pets were all indoor dogs, well taken care of, and slightly spoiled. They had regular feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. I will adhere to your pet's regular schedule as much as possible.
“Sydney was a fantastic host for our 9-month old Goldendoodle. Our dog loved playing with their dogs, and with their little boy. We received pictures daily that kept us in the loop and a gave us a peek into how are dog was doing. Highly recommend, will book again!”

“Emmett always has a great time when he stays with Madison and Ryan! He was well cared for and came home happy. It’s a relief to know he’s safe and that I don’t have to worry about him while he’s with Madison and Ryan. Thanks again!”

It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
