About: Good on you, friend! You want more than a cold cage for your pup. And you want a family to treat your pup with genuine care and affection when you cannot take her or him with you. So, thank you for your interest in our dog boarding services. As we live in Hagerstown, we offer free shuttle service for our clients along the I-270 corridor—Bethesda, North Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Urbana, and Frederick. Our clients are very welcomed to pick-up and drop-off at our home if their plans take them through Hagerstown. We're excited to be in our sixth year with Rover! During this time, we developed wonderful and continuing relationships with many of our repeat guests and their parents. This includes taking your pooch with us when we need to be away from our home, if that is acceptable to you. We’ll send lots of messages with pics and clips that keep you in touch. And you can call us anytime through our Rover phone number if you ever need to discuss a particular matter. We have a spare room with open beds, large crates, and collapsible kennels are available if required/requested. Please remember to pack your dog’s favorite food, treats, toys, blanket, etc., to make their stay more comfortable. We provide the dog beds, bowls, and potty pads and bags, so there's no need for you to worry about any of that.

About: Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and loved animals. My Grandma was very influential in teaching me to love and care for them and how to read their body language. I started pet sitting when I was in elementary school, when our neighbors would go on vacation I would care for their cat and fish. I have had many beloved pets growing up, including; cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, lizards, hamsters, and a mouse. Currently, I have a previously feral, cow cat named queenie. I have taken a veterinary science course at hcc, where I studied animal anatomy. I also worked as a volunteer and fostered at the humane society , a non-profit no kill organization that works with Petsmart, to get animals into forever homes. I am currently in school to get a Bachelors Degree in Biology, with a focus on Zoology. My goal is to study and work directly with wild animals in order to preserve them! :) If you guys have any questions feel free at ask! About: I don't think I've ever not had a dog! I have taken care of dogs of all ages and backgrounds growing up not only did I dog sit for friends and family, but my family fostered rescue dogs for the mid-atlantic german shorthair pointer rescue. I have some rudimentary puppy training knowledge, and I’m very comfortable around puppies! I am well versed in senior dog care including administering medications. I also have experience in dogs that have some mild to medium temperament issues from working with rescue dogs and my past dog sitting experience. I am an early bird so it would be easy for me to cater a short commute to school or fit in some morning exercise for your pup. I am a college student who has class every day during the week, from mid-morning the earliest being nine thirty and ending early in the afternoon two o'clock at the latest. I am very active and I often go for runs/walks in the evening and I would love to have a dog along come with me! At home I have two very active dogs and I have had very high energy dogs my entire life at home. I’m always throwing a dog toy either into the pool or a ball in the yard. I treat all of my clients dogs like my own! Even if it's just for a quick visit or a walk!

About: I was born and raised on a family farm. From the time I was born I have been riding in tractors and taking care of all sorts of animals. Growing up we always had dogs and cats in our home. I have always loved rescuing strays and rehabilitating injured animals of all shapes and sizes. I now have three fur babies of my very own and they are my life! If you entrust your pet with me I will not take it lightly as it is a deep honor and privilege. I love spoiling animals and giving them all the love. If I ever won the lottery I would adopt all of the oldest animals at the shelter and take them to my pet sanctuary. Please consider booking me so that I can continue to stay at home with my human baby as much as possible! 🐾 I am very part time right now since I stay home with my little one. I pick up evening shifts here and there but I am fairly free in the evenings once my husband gets home from work. Let me know what you need and we can work out a routine! I typically work with children and for that reason I understand the importance of trust, flexibility, and kindness. I will always uphold your privacy and I promise to do my best in every situation. I like to call myself an “over communicator” so I will always share details on your pet and I’m pretty good at taking pictures of fur babies too!

“We've never been gone from our pets for two weeks before. When our usual pet sitter told us she was unavailable, we were hesitant in finding new ones for such a long trip. Alexia and Jay were incredible. They had the best attention to detail, care, and love for our animals as if they were their own. Day 1, one of our dogs hurt his back legs somehow and they took him to the ER for us just to be sure. Never a complaint once. It was all smooth sailing after that. We got so many pictures and videos multiple times a day. Very responsive and available for any and all questions. They even went above and beyond to reset the house a bit before we came home. About: I've taken care of dogs and animals in general since I was 16 years old for neighbors and family members. I am comfortable will all dog breeds and ages, and have experience with different types of dogs. I have a German Shepard that needs frequent play time and takes medicine daily; I am comfortable giving medicine to dogs. i am a part time student so i have class on thursday at 4pm. i am available during the week except for tuesday’s and maybe thursday but my class is online so as long as your comfortable with me doing my school work while i pet sit! i can do weekends! i want to be more active so i’m up for dogs who love exercise but i can also chill with dogs who are a little older or aren’t as active. i am comfortable with doing anything the pet needs for its comfort/routine.
