“Joel and Crystal watched my pup for 8 days and did a wonderful job. I would recommend them. They were also extremely kind and flexible when I was late returning due to flight delays. I will definitely be using them in the future! Thanks so much!!”

“Denise was the best with our little yorkie while we were in town for a graduation. She took care of him during the day and he was calmer than usual and happy! Thank you again Denise!”

“Valerie is so kind! So amazing! She was very attentive and sent photos throughout the day to keep me updated. As well as taking care of her just as well as I would if not better! I will definitely be using her again!”

“Joshua picks up my pup Whimsy every morning that I work on time and drops her off in the evening on time. She often comes back tired and happy. I feel good knowing that she gets to play with other dogs and cats while I’m at work instead of sitting at home all day!”

“Michelly is a wonderful dog sitter! We needed a place for our Golden Retriever puppy to stay during the days while our house was being remodeled. Michelly always responded to my texts and emails quickly, she was accommodating and flexible when I needed to make last minute changes and requests, and most importantly, our dog LOVED staying at her house! The big fenced in backyard is perfect for an energetic puppy, and our dog came home happy and exhausted each day. We highly recommend Michelly!”

“As a college student I appreciate Sabrina’s affordable prices. Given her prices, she goes above and beyond what she needs to. She clearly is invested in all the dogs that visit her and finds joy in animals. I had no fears about my dog’s time with her. She’s actually a 20 minute drive from me and even though I live in a populous area with multiple options I plan to continue to use her.”

“I couldn't ask for a better sitter for my dog Juniper. She felt right at home in Jamie's house and with her family. They gave her lots of attention throughout the day and even took her to hang out with the neighbors' dogs. Jamie sent me updates and lots of pictures throughout the day and that really helped to ease my anxiety while at work. 10/10 would recommend to everyone for dog sitting and I will definitely be bringing Juniper back to Jamie in the future!!!”

“Journey is the perfect sitter for our reactive baby. I could immediately tell she has lots of experience and is comfortable with even fearful dogs like ours. The thing about Journey that I am most appreciative of is that she has Fear Free certification. She showed in all her communication with me that she understood Guinness’s needs through his body language and was respectful of his boundaries (however long they lasted, apparently he got pretty cuddly!). I will definitely be bringing Guinness back for boarding, daycare, and probably grooming too. I can’t express how grateful I am to imagine being able to board Guinness and therefore travel again! Thank you, Journey!”

“This was my first time leaving my pup with someone new, so naturally I was a little nervous—but they totally put my mind at ease! They were super attentive with my little spoiled brat (and I say that with love 😄). He was always wagging his butt and happy to go back, which says it all. I really appreciated how they noticed he was picky with food—he wouldn’t eat there, but they still checked in and made sure I knew. He had plenty of playtime and always came home happy and tired, which is a win in my book! I didn’t want him going on walks because of his reactivity to cars, and they totally respected that—he got plenty of backyard play instead. Bonus points for being flexible with my chaotic work schedule. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“I don't want to talk about how much my dogs like it at Paul's b/c then I'll have a harder time booking. I also don't want to talk about how good Paul is with the dogs and how tired my dogs are when they are done for the day. If he is ever booked up b/c of good reviews I'll be sad LOL. Thankyou for welcoming Hoot & Holler onto your farm Paul. See you next month”

“It's my seconding time having Ruthie to watch my dobie Ranger. I'm so thankful for Ruthie. She is so sweet and responsible. Ranger came home tired from all the plays and walks....and he got all the love from Ruthie and Olly :)”

About: I am a responsible person who is home every day. I have two dogs at home, a two year old poodle/yorkshire terrier who loves to play and a 14 year old Chihuahua who does not. :-) I am a homebody who loves the home and would love to see dogs out in my big fenced back yard playing with each other. I have a huge fenced back yard and would love to have it be used by playmates for my personal dog. He just wants to play. :-)

About: I have owned pets my whole life and I have experience caring for them since I was 13-14 years old. I have experience with pets of all ages. My availability relies heavily on the bus schedules so please keep this in mind. If I can make it there and back on the bus or with a caregiver (I'm disabled), I can do it. On some weekends or weeks during school breaks, my 10 year old will need to come with me sometimes when I don't have anyone to watch him. He knows how to behave safely with animals. I will not leave your pets unattended or in forbidden areas and I am ON TOP of giving any necessary medications, feeding, or any other time-sensitive tasks. I will take your dog on walks every single day and I will provide the appropriate amount of attention to your pet including during play sessions.

“Cal made my Yosemite trip so much easier. Leaving Rennie in her care was amazing—she truly looked after him the whole time. I could tell she made sure he drank water, peed, pooped, played, and ate properly. Rennie and Dewy got along really well, and I loved seeing them play and sleep together.”

About: Hi there! As a fellow pet parent and Rover user, I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. I’m the proud mom of a 6-year-old rescued German Shepherd and a 9-year-old cat who even made an overseas move with me—so I understand just how much our pets mean to us. I'm a teacher with a deep love for animals and nature. I spend much of my time outdoors, going on walks and hikes with my pup, and I’d be thrilled to have your pet(s) join in on the fun! Whether it’s outdoor adventures or cozy time at home, I’ll care for your pet(s) as if they were my own. This summer, I’ll have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to new clients. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet(s). I am working 8 am - 4:00 pm and have weekends and holidays off, which allows me the flexibility to take care of your pets' needs. Whether your pet enjoys snuggling on the couch or prefers to get some exercise, you can rest assured that they will receive plenty of attention, cuddles, and playtime! I am more than happy to take your dog for walks, hikes, to the dog park, or anywhere else you feel comfortable taking them. I'm excited to learn more about your furry friend(s)!

About: Hello, my name is Cassandra and I grew up in Alaska where my chore was to take care of the animals. We had a bunch of huskies we’ve had bulldogs, labs, cats and goats mostly. I have spent most of my life always having pets up until this last December when I lost my best friend of 13 years. Her name was Chewy and passed from congestive heart failure. She had separation anxiety as well as she had to take medication so I am experienced in those behaviors and special needs. I do not have any animals of my own. In Alaska, I started my experience with house and pet sitting for over 10 years. Here in Oregon for the last five years I’ve pet sat for my family. I do not smoke. I do not drink. I have a small place in a great neighborhood with lots of places to walk dogs. I have no children. I have a small fenced backyard. I am the type of person who will let your animal onto my couch or onto my bed unless you have different rules. I understand how important it is for your baby to be on a routine. I enjoy walking and going to the park. I am very responsible and reliable and you can rest assured your pet is in good hands with me. I’m planning a trip to Africa for a month. I will be experiencing the culture while volunteering at orphanages. Everything I make here is going to support that trip in 6 months. I love the opportunity to care for your fur babies and support my life long dream I have the beautiful opportunity of not working at the moment so I am home all the time your fur baby, especially if they have separation anxiety will always have somebody around. I would never leave your animal unattended. I’m a very private person so it’ll just be me spending quality time with your animal in my quiet home I’m hoping that I can make this my permanent job Routine is always important. Not just for humans but for fur babies as well. I will follow your instructions and stay as close to your routine as possible so your fur baby is as comfortable as possible. I have a backyard fenced in. I live in a neighborhood close to parks and lots of sidewalks and green grass. I have no children and a small little quiet place any special instructions I will follow. I do however, like animals to feel like home at my home so I will allow them on my furniture as long as you’re OK with that.

“Lexi was very flexible with times for drop off and pick up. She sent so many pictures making me feel less anxious about leaving her. She played with other pups everyday so I don’t think she missed me too much ?”
