About: I was certified as a vet assistant at 17. Currently in Vet tech school & expected to graduate 2027. I have 2 friendly dogs of my own :) I am available on the weekends, I keep pets on a consistent schedule to ensure all of their needs are met including feeding, enrichment, & exercise. About: I grew up riding horses and having small dogs around the house, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've been dog and cat sitting off and on for the past 8 years, and I've been working in barns and caring for horses for 12. Today, I'm lucky enough to have a dog and cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pets while you're away. I have a bachelor's degree in Equine Science, with Animal Science as one of my three minors. Through my education and years of hands-on experience, I've developed a strong understanding of animal care, behavior, health, and daily management across a variety of animals. I have experience caring for senior pets, anxious and reactive animals, and animals with additional medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to ensure each pet receives the care they need. Whether your pet wants to go on a long walk or hike, play their favorite games, or simply curl up on the couch, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I care about getting to know each pet’s personality and routine, so they feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. Their well-being is always my top priority, and I’ll keep you updated along the way so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and am very comfortable around all animals. I have previously worked with the “Wag!” app although this is my first experience with Rover. I have experience house/pet sitting as well as just walking or visiting pets. I’m reliable and flexible as a care giver and hope to give you the experience you are looking for! I currently work full time so I would be available before 8 am and after 5 pm. I am able to leave work to check on your pet to provide a 30 minute drop-in visit. I am also able to house sit/ pet sit full time on weekends. I am vigilant to the needs of each animal I am responsible for. I prefer written instructions on animal care when I come over to your house. Having grown up with animals, I can always find a way to play with and care for pets depending on what you as an owner request!
