He has only been around my husband and I as well as my husband’s parents, who usually keep him when we’re away. They have a dog, but their dog is 8 years old and very calm and quiet. When I realized our family would all be out of town on the same weekend, I was very worried about putting our pup in a large boarding facility for fear it would overwhelm and frighten him. My fears were confirmed when I took him walking one day and we came upon a larger energetic dog. My poor pup was afraid of the friendly dog who just wanted to meet him. I knew it was time to socialize him more, but wanted to do it in a smaller setting with fewer dogs and someone who could give him a bit more attention. I was so blessed to find Victoria. I explained everything to her and she was so kind and on board to help in any way. We met a few days before his boarding day and although he was very timid and only wanted to stay by my side, she was so patient with him and gave him time to grow comfortable with her and his new surroundings. “My dog, Ryder, enjoyed his stay with Charlie and his dogs. Charlie was very accommodating. We set up a meet and greet for our dogs and they ended up playing for 2 hours! I was updated daily, however much I requested. I only had to provide food and anything else I specifically wanted to bring. Charlie had an extra kennel and plenty of toys. He did walks with Ryder and made sure he got all that lab energy out. We’re back home now and Ryder’s going to sleep for a few days. He’s worn out from his great weekend!! I’m looking forward to using Charlie and his family again.”
