This was my first time to use Rover for Marly & Charmin, and I’m so glad I found Michael!! I signed up hoping to find someone that would show them lots of attention when I’m out of town. I am that dog mom that has as much separation anxiety, as my dogs usually do when I leave them. When I left them at Michael’s, I knew they had already made a new friend. Outdoors/ In Vehicle Leashes will be used as it is required by local guidelines, I prefer to take your pet out early mornings or evenings (7:00p.m) for potty time, but if you request them to be taken out a time of day where the sun is scorching hot, I will keep the out time very short. Feeding bowls or trays will be brought in my vehicle once I purchase another one, so your pet(s) can have nutrition on the go too!

If you have small dogs, they can run freely, and I would stay outside to watch them. If you have large dogs they can stay out all they want. Dogs love me! They know if you are of good character, or not.

I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, chickens, and even an iguana named Rex. My first dog, Dotti, taught me what unconditional love truly means. As she grew older, I helped care for her every day, making sure she stayed comfortable, happy, and loved. That experience has stayed with me ever since. I’ve volunteered with the Humane Society, pet sat for family and friends, and have experience working alongside veterinarians. While you’re away, you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I would be honored to earn your trust. I’m fully retired after over 20 years of military service, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide dependable pet care throughout the day. I offer morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday visits. Whether you need daily drop-ins, extended vacation care, or last-minute help, I’m available to work around your schedule. Your pet’s safety and your home’s security are my top priorities. I follow your pet’s normal routine, provide fresh food and water, medication if needed, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also perform home security checks, bring in mail and packages, water plants, and make sure everything is secure while you’re away. As a retired Army First Sergeant, I understand responsibility, reliability, and treating your home with respect.
