About: I’ve been caring for pets for a few years, mostly for close friends and family. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just keeping them company while their family is away, I’ve always treated pets as my own. I often help with housesitting and babysitting as well, so I’ve learned to also juggle multiple responsibilities. I’m currently home for the summer from college, although as back to school season starts, my last day in Bakersfield will be September 15th. With no current academic commitments, I am able to build my daily routine around the pets I care for! I follow the client’s instructions carefully, whether that’s a checklist, a routine, or specific steps for entering and locking up. While this is certainly a fun job, it is a job I also take seriously. I strive to treat you, your pet, and your house with the utmost respect. I know that having a new person in the home can be stressful for some pets. I adjust my body language and tone to match what they need; some pets want excitement and affection right away, while others prefer a quiet presence and space to warm up. I never force interactions and always build trust at their own pace. I carefully observe your pet’s body language and give them the kind of presence they need to feel safe, whether that’s gentle head pets, playtime, or just existing with them. I’m especially mindful of reactive or anxious pets and will always give them the space and patience they deserve. To me, trust is built by respecting your pet’s unique boundaries and needs without judgment.

About: I’ve had at least 5 years of experience sitting for friends and family. I’m going to college and studying to be a Veterinarian. I volunteer at Kern County animal shelter, and my main task is cleaning puppy cages, so I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I am a college student at CSUB, studying to be a veterinarian. During the Summer, I have a lot of free time while still maintaining good availability during the school year. Even if I have classes, I would still be able to check on an animal every day. I make sure to remove anything that could potentially harm an animal (Sago Palm for cats) and if they enjoy going outside, to always have them on a leash and in my sight.

About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for both cats and dogs. When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dogs hair and clip his nails. I have open availability so I can fit morning, afternoon, and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.

About: I have a lot of experience taking care of pets. In my country I was a veterinary assistant and animal care volunteer. Be part of animal rescue foundations I have from 8 am to 11 am to attend to pets after prior coordination. It is also possible during the weekends and holidays if necessary It is important to exercise pets daily with a walk so they can stay happy and avoid stress. Pet grooming is always necessary to avoid problems with its fur and skin. Maintain a balanced diet and hydration

Our agreement was to just feed my 2 dogs twice a day, but she went above and beyond. She brought my mail and packages into my garage and spent time playing with our German Shepherd and Beagle. About: I’ve had many different types of pets in my lifetime, and I learned that every animal should be treated like a unique being. With different traits and tempers, care for each animal should be individualized. I love getting to know a pet and fulfilling their needs as wells as gaining experience! I’m currently a college student and have a part time job, I work 3-6 Monday-Friday. This being said, I have plenty of time before or after the to walk/check on an animal. No pet need is an inconvenience to me! When walking a dog I make it an individual experience, only one dog at a time. Or on the occasion, dogs of the same household. When checking on pets inside their own home, I make sure to check for any sort of mess or area that a pet may escape from. A home security is very important to me, this means locking up properly and making sure the pet has all essentials.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for the past two years and before that I had my own during childhood! I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! About: This job taking care of dogs is by far my one of my favorite one as dogs are therapeutic and a joy to be around I've cared for about 20ish dogs now and some repeat clients since being on here in December of 2024 and don't regret a moment at all and learned alot. I love taking care of dogs and can also handle walking the giant dog breeds and love pitbulls/huskies also Huge rottweiler fan !
