Kate is awesome! She goes over and beyond just walking and visiting my doggie while I'm at work. For example, she raked the leaves on my front yard because it was getting bad and I was too lazy to do it, haha. She also coordinated with the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition to trap my neighborhood cats, get them fixed, then release them back to the neighborhood. We have lots of cats here, so that really helped control the cat population in the community!

Mercy is very responsive to messages. She was very patient when first meeting Harri to let her warm up to her at her own pace. Mercy has been great to work with and has gone above and beyond by bringing in packages when she’s here.

Amanda has been a great dog walker for our puppy! She was extremely loving and caring to our puppy. Some of the things we appreciated about Amanda was that she was easy to get ahold, always on time, and consistent rain or shine. We had to move away from the area and wish we could have taken her with us. We highly recommend Amada to take care of your pet!

Alison has been giving Fenris morning walks for the last couple of weeks, and we feel so lucky we found her listing! She has been communicative and reliable with great availability. It was obvious from our meet and greet that she knows how to build trust with dogs, and Fenris has a great time on his walks with her. We would highly recommend her to others!

About: Hi! I’ve loved animals all my life. I’ve been a dog and cat owner for 13 years. I have most experience in caring for outdoor/indoor cats ranging from 0-5 years of age. Fun fact: I used to care for 5 cats at once! (Full house!) I currently have two fur babies. My 6-year-old cat Penelope and my 3-year-old orange cat Sol have my heart. I treat all fur babies like my own. I like making them feel loved and letting them know that they’re safe. While cats are my expertise, I also care for small-sized dogs. I am very attentive and loving when it comes to animals. I like keeping the owner updated frequently :) I work from home and love taking sunshine breaks, especially if I have a furry companion to walk! I am available for ongoing set schedules and last-minute services as well. I prefer at least two days' notice for services. I am considerably flexible with scheduling and cancellations. If caring for your pet in your home, I will 100% abide by your rules and remain respectful of your space. I like to play with the pet and make sure they have something to eat before I leave. If requested, I will take walks along your neighborhood or location of your choice.

About: I grew up with pets as part of my family, which taught me from an early age how to care for them with patience, consistency, and respect. Being around dogs and cats my whole life helped me learn how to read their body language, understand their routines, and respond to their individual needs, whether that means playtime, quiet companionship, or extra reassurance. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I’m currently focusing on personal growth and beginning a new chapter in my life. This gives me wide availability and flexibility to dedicate quality time and attention to pet sitting. I’m able to prioritize consistent visits, unhurried care, and being fully present with each pet, ensuring they receive the attention, comfort, and reliability they deserve. I focus on providing calm, attentive care that keeps pets comfortable in their own environment. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s established routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of affection. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level, making adjustments to ensure they feel safe and at ease while their owner is away. Cleanliness, consistency, and clear communication are important to me, and I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own.

Eric was quick to reply and genuinely cared about making my dog’s day. He took my Dalmatian on a nice long walk and also played with him in the backyard on both days I booked. Eric was great about keeping me in the loop and making me feel included while I was away, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. He’s an awesome person, clearly loves what he does, and I’ll absolutely be rebooking with Eric.

About: Hi! My name is Jasmine. I have been working with animals since I was 8 years old and have been pet sitting for 4 years now. I love all dogs big or small and have experience with farm animals as well! I can also train dogs! I currently work part time. So when I get off early or on my days off, I usually pet sit and take care of others animals if they need. I balance both my part time job and pet sitting equally. I always make sure the pet I’m sitting is comfortable with me being there as well as making sure there is food and water for them. I follow any restroom schedules and feeding schedules and give them lots of love!

About: I can not wait to meet your puppy spend time outside and get there energy out! I love long walks and running around playing with your dog. I've had a dog my whole life growing up but really became invested when I rescued my dog Barley from under the highway at 10 weeks old. I potty trained her and helped her become comfortable around people. I have a very available and free schedule. I'm currently in nursing school and have a rotating clinical schedule. But it is a 10 hr shift and will still be able to come by in morning and late in the evening. I love starting off with having your pup get comfortable with me and then talking them out on a nice long walk. We'll come back, ensure they get their food and water. We will relax and they will be having some home play, belly rubs and just hang out. I'll end my visit by confirming they have plenty of water and going outside one last time.

Hector is amazing with my Carrick and was from the very beginning. I'm disabled and found myself in need of a part-time dog walker. My dog is being trained as a service dog but was also rescued from a shelter and does not trust people easily. Hector asked what commands he knew, what was the best way to approach him, didn't flinch when my baby got anxious during their meet and greet. He won my furbaby over so completely that the next morning when Hector showed up for the first walk, Carrick quietly sniffed and accepted him and was more than happy to go on a walk with him. Hector also discovered the best way to walk Carrick on their first walk - I've never seen him come back from a walk so happy before! I cannot recommend Hector enough. He has experience, is intuitive, communicative, respectful, thoughtful, and takes great care of your fur babies. My little man gets the tippy-tappies when he hears him walking up to the door. A dog that usually takes months to warm up to folks. If you hire Hector you will not be disappointed. You will have a reliable, skilled and trustworthy person to take care of your furbaby.

The Crossing At Quail Creek dog parents share their Rover experiences

Hannah is a total delight. She was thoughtful enough to bring a few treats, actively listened to my concerns since my dog is dog reactive, and then proceeded to tire my boy out. Her love for animals truly shows as my dog was even reluctant to come back inside at the end of the walk. He was definitely in the right hands and will be a repeat client.

I had a situation where my regular dog caregiver had to be out of town. I needed someone I could trust. I found hector. And he and Bud hit it off immediately. He seems like a very responsible and determined Young man. And I would book him again in a minute.
