“Allison did a great job caring for all my animals and I have quite a zoo. She was able to manage the system we have of keeping 3 separate areas for our dogs that don’t get along, gave meds to our dogs, even insulin shots to our little diabetic dog. She also cared for our cats while we were away and kept us informed of how all our pets were doing. Most would be overwhelmed with the task and she didn’t bat an eye. We would do it again in a heartbeat, not sure if she would tho! 😅Normally our dogs would appear anxious and overstimulated when we return but her staying in our home made a huge difference. We haven’t left our animals overnight in 6 years but Allison made it possible. She did a great job!”

About: I specialize in animals with special needs and senior pet care. I have owned and rehabilitated animals for the majority of my life. Caring for all sorts of creatures from rodents and birds to reptiles and horses. So over the years I’ve become the person family and friends contact for pet care or animal related emergencies. Outside of this app I currently work with senior dogs as well as caring for the animals of senior individuals. I ensure that the animals I work with are receiving proper exercise and stimulation when their owners are no longer able to provide it. Playing, going on walks or hikes, running, snuffle activities or whatever else is needed. I run a business from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I typically wake up doing walks and drop ins. Depending on how booked I am, I may spend days at my clients homes or spend days at a time at home with my fury friends. When visiting my home animals are free to roam, play, go outside, nap or be my little shadow. The majority of my boarding and house visits are spent cuddling, going on adventures and playing. I genuinely love my time spent with animals, so each experience is curated to suit the personality of my fury friend. I have two homes, one is gated with a huge yard. The other is on about an acre and a half of open land. When I am staying there walks are given on the leash. I am not big on caging animals, however I have several crates for the brief moments that I am away. Regardless of the location all animals in my care will be safe and well cared for. I am more than willing to send photo and video updates.

About: Hi, my name is Marena! I work in the educational field. I teach 7th grade science and I love it! So any chance that I get to be outside I like to take advantage of that! I love to go on trail walks,hiking, the park. I just love to be outside. I am hoping to be of help to other families that need it when it comes to their fur babies! Giving them the best exercise when they need it the most, not only helps out the pups, but it also takes a load off the owners as well. I have 2 poodles of my own and I absolutely love taking them on different adventures! I want to be able to give other peoples babies the same opportunity when they’re families are away! During the holiday seasons, I am available at anytime of the day or night. Once holiday breaks are over, I would be available for anytime on the afternoon. I have 2 standard poodles that are super friendly and lovable, so your pet would have friends to play with if they were to come and stay the night or the weekend. I have tons of toys for them to play with and also, they will be treated as if they were my own fur babies!

About: I deal with pets so much better than I do with humans. Dogs have been my best friends for as long as I can remember and I treat them as such. I have unconditional love for pets. I’ve had 3 dogs of my own and they have all been huge parts of my life. I currently work as a baseball broadcaster for the Texarkana Rhinos and need extra money when we don’t have home games. My schedule is flexible. I will make sure they’re fed, active, and happy. Dogs need some extra attention when their family isn’t home and I pride myself on that.

About: I’ve been in a veterinary office for 2 years. I’ve had training in giving medication, to feeding them, giving them fresh water every morning/night. Making sure they have a comfortable bed and/or blankets and pillows. Playing with them, loving on them, and talking daily walks. I’ve watched my family/friends dogs for years! I am their go-to person! I start and end my day with them. I do work but I always make sure they are fed, have water and are comfortable for the day! When I get back from working, I immediately feed them, changed their water and make sure they have potty breaks from getting home to going to bed. I care for pets however they trust me to do so. If they need me to spend some time with their pet, I will. If they need an extra walk or 2 throughout the day, it will be given to the pet. If they need extra food, I will certainly give it to them. About: Hi, I’m Amanda, I’m 41 years old and I have a deep love and understanding for animals. I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. About: I’m first aid and CPR trained. I am not new to dog sitting/training however I am new to utilizing River. Now I have 20+ years experience training, caring for, and bathing dogs while growing up on a farm. I have trained/ worked with dogs such as Australian cattle dogs, Australian shepherds, and catahoula leopard dogs. Nonetheless I love all breeds. I’ve had adopted and been a shelter mom for furdogs over the years. I’m currently taking a break from the medical field and going back to school online to study animal behavioral sciences. I’ll have a structured routine to focus on your pup with plenty of flexibility for all cases! I have a fenced in yard. A doggy pool under a shaded cabana. Plus a one year old dog who loves having fur dog company. My pup has helped transition dogs from abused and neglected homes when we have availability. Also I have puzzles, a crate, bedding, sniff training materials, food delivery toys, and much more enrichment options. Also my furpup and I enjoy dog parks, walks, and somedays we just hangout at home with plenty of enrichment.
