“I cannot recommend Laurie more. Our pups had an absolutely blast during their boarding session with Laurie. Our dogs are a bit picky when it comes to both food and how they enjoy their play time. It was comforting to know that both our dogs got to play fetch/tug-of-war and got the personal exercise and mental stimulation they needed. Laurie really goes above and beyond to make your pets happy. My heart feels both joy and at ease each time I receive one of Laurie’s updates, photos, and videos on how their doing. I’ve left my pups with others before, but I can confidently say that Laurie is my favorite. She really loves dogs and has two very cute Shiba Inu dogs of her own. About: Hi I’m Sydney! I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have 2 dogs named Bandit and Hazel that are the loves of my life. ❤️ I work full time, however my job is 10 minutes away from my home so I always have time to check in. My dogs never feel alone knowing I always come home. I’m able to check on your fur babies in a 4 hour span throughout the day and even more on the weekends. I treat dogs like they’re my own when they come to my house. Dogs deserve to be treated like family no matter what age and size. I love spending time inside relaxing or playing in the backyard. Walks are a must!

“Meeting Jill and Liz was the best thing that could have happened for me and my dogs. I recently moved to Bakersfield and didn’t know a soul. The dogs had to spend the first two weeks alone at home while I went to work. After researching, reading and reviewing I found Jill on Rover.com. After reading the reviews I decided to try a day. The Mac Pack played so thoroughly that they came home, ate, pooped and then literally fell over asleep. BEST DAY EVER!!! Since then we have been with Jill and Liz every day. My dogs LOVE them. “Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”

About: I’ve been around every type of pets since I was 8 including dogs, cats to birds and goats. Everyone in my family trust me to take care of their babies and I enjoy spending time with them. At the moment I have my girl Athena who is a German Shepard/Doberman Mix and is turning two soon. I work full time at Sherwin Williams Paint Store but I do get out at 3:30pm everyday Monday to Friday. After that I always have the rest of the day off. In my free time I spend it at the park with Athena or at the gym. I take care of my Athena like she is my whole world she is a bit spoiled and goes on walks three time a day and eats twice a day. I mainly feed her a Raw/Kibble diet. I would treat your babies like they were mine. I will follow any instructions you give me and be able to accommodate any requests as well

We love spending time with them like taking them on walks and taking them to dog parks. We even take them for rides and treat with with puppuccinos most of the time and they love it. I have a fenced back yard. We do have a pool but our dogs know not to go in it. We will keep a real close eye on your fur babies and make sure they are comfortable and enjoying the environment.
