“It was the first time leaving my mini Aussie with Jill and Liz for daycare and using Rover. Jill and Liz were very caring and took the time to ease my guy into his first day. I loved that they were only a text away for me to check in being new to this. Jill and Liz responded promptly with updates and pictures. They were great and made my first experience with Rover very easy:) Thank you Jill and Liz!”

“Haley was a very thoughtful, flexible sitter for Jethro. He can be a handful at times, but she was great at understanding his (and our) needs while we were out of town. She is trustworthy and goes the extra mile to make sure your dog is comfortable, and updated throughout the day without needing to be asked. I’d recommend her if you are looking for someone to trust with the security of your home, and safety and happiness of your animals.”

“Karla is amazing! She provided overnights before and this time I used her doggy day care service. My dog was so excited to see her and her dogs again, he ran up to her house. Would definitely recommend!”

“Brandan is great with our one year old fur baby! Simba has separation anxiety, but Brandan stays patient with him and attends to his needs to make him comfortable. We appreciate that he is flexible with our schedule and treats Simba like family. Simba is always excited to go to daycare as he starts to show excitement when we approach Brandan’s home and runs up to his door! If you are looking for someone who is compassionate and trustworthy; Brandan is the one!”

“I took my dog to Akie for boarding and she took amazing care of him. She kept me updated with pictures and videos on how he was doing. I will definitely have Akie take care of Koa again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and owned my own for over 30 years. I’ve house trained my own dogs from puppy stage to senior age. I currently own a Siberian Husky and care for two additional huskies. I enjoy brushing, playing and bathing them. I’m retired and pretty much available all week, unless I leave to visit family. My schedule is very flexible although I do have a feeding routine for my own dog (am and pm). I have a decent size yard that is fenced. I have a 4 year old Siberian Husky who is very friendly and loves to play. I do crate dogs if they get out of hand and need timeouts. I allow dogs inside and outside. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and treat them like part of the family.
“Shannon did great with our GSD! She was very communicative with pictures and updates. She was so sweet and understanding with our anxious puppy and he ended up loving her! I would totally recommend her and will continue to use her for our baby.”

“This was first time leaving my dog. I was a little nervous since we were in town for my husbands work so I was not familiar with the area, people or just leaving him. Nalani did a great job making it comfortable for me. I took my dog to her two days and it was such a great experience. He did well and Nalani gave him lots of attention. Thank you so much for taking care of my fur baby while we were in town. I highly recommend her.”

“I highly recommend her! Her and her family were very sweet towards my dog. I had to do a last minute booking and she accepted it. I also had last minuetes changes when picking him and she was very kind about it. I know for sure my dog had an awesome stay and felt safe in their home. About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.
“I can't find enough nice things to say about Julie and her family! They really helped me out when I was in a pinch. They accommodated for my hectic schedule and my pups always came home tired 😊 It is so nice to have a place for my pups to go where they're safe and can have a good time, too! Definitely recommend Julie and her family to all!”

About: I have always had a dog but I can only attest to caring for those I’ve raised. I’ve raised two labs and a huskie pittie. I currently have a young 1 year old male lab who loves a great play session with another doggy friend. I’ve often dog cat overnight and it gives my pets great socialization opportunities. I currently work full time from home from 8am to 5pm. My dog is routinely walked 1 hours a day with several enticing activities through out my work day. On the weekend I like to take him to the park and hiking if there is no playdate scheduled. I have a fenced yard and the most social dog to keep them company. Plenty of toys and treats. I have two different sized crates and fenced areas to give my cats space when new dogs are visiting.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I mostly grew up around German Shepards and miniature Dobermans. I have two dogs of my own named Milo and Bear. I adopted Milo when he was a little less than a year from the pound. I got Bear just 6 months later from someone who couldn’t keep him. I love dogs and want to help take care of your pets! I am a stay at home mom and I also work from home. Working from home gives me flexibility to be able to be there for your pets. In my home or your home your pets safety and well being is my top priority. I will treat your pets with the same love l treat mine with. I believe pictures and videos are important to provide to show you how your pet is doing. I also send updates about your pets like what they’ve been up to and if I have concerns I definitely would let you know. I do live in a one bedroom apartment but I have a front yard I can take your dogs out for fresh air and to use the bathroom.
About: I’ve had pets of all kinds ever since I was a kid. I grew up around livestock and showed pigs through 4-H. I’ve never had a dog-less household, and I strongly believe every dog is a lap dog. I would love to get to know and spoil each and every one of your pups, while keeping you updated every step of the process. Although I only have one review on my profile, I have been taking care of friends’ and family’s pets for years. I guarantee a 5 star experience for you and your pets. I am currently self-employed, so I am extremely flexible when it comes to my schedule. Just let me know what you need, and we can make it happen! I have a fenced in yard, with two of my own indoor/outdoor dogs. There are also 2 indoor/outdoor cats, so no dogs that could put them in danger.
