“Caelyn is excellent! She communicates quickly and takes great care of our dogs. We were so thrilled at some of the enrichment she provided them (and the pictures she took) while we were gone. They love her!”

“Wonderful experience!! I will definitely use Ashley again and recommend her to anyone. She kept me updated and responded to messages very quickly. My cats were well taken care of. They are pretty social with me and not used to me being gone. So far they are not showing any separation issues and even the shy anxious one is doing great! Ashley stopped in to hang out twice a day and that extra people interaction each day from my past one a day visits has had a big impact. Sad as it is to say it’s almost like they didn’t miss me as much this time :) Thank you!!!”

About: Having my own 3 year old labrodoodle, I am well-versed in high energy dogs that need stimulating walks. I have done dog training courses with my own dog at the Happy Dog Institute in Tumwater and will work with your pup using positive reinforcement in our walks. I currently work from home and have availability to help walk your furry friend during the morning, afternoon or evening. I would love to be able to get your pup the daily exercise they need. I have been a dog owner for over 15 years and have experience walking dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve boarded friend’s dogs in my home and have been responsible for providing their daily care. I ensure owners are provided with GPS-tracked walks, a report of all activities in our walk and of course photos!

About: * summer is here and I still have a few openings left so book asap! Also... I know it seems too early and sunny to think about the holidays, but I usually book up months in advance so reach out, even if you don't have exact travel plans, but know you'll need pet care. I currently have Labor Day already booked, but mid November - New Years is pretty much open, except one booking in Dec. Check my updated calendar. My dog care experience spans all ages and breeds. I know puppies are more work, but I enjoy working with them on leash and obedience training to maintain good habits while their people are away. I have experience with giving daily medications and have cared for senior dogs, one who needed daily blood sugar testing and insulin shots. I live mobile between pet sitting gigs staying with friends and family from Marysville to Olympia. I started pet sitting for clients when I was house cleaning during the time I was in grad school. Because I was already working in their homes and had biweekly interactions with their pets, it was an easy transition to pet care. It was also during this time that a couple of professors inquired about pet sitting. I was a backup for one of thier regular sitters and the other, I'm still their regular sitter 7+ years later. I care for your pets the same way you would. They like to sleep in the bed with me? Cool. They need extra outside play time or walks to keep their anxiety low because you're gone? Done. I am very intuitive to reading their energy and do everything I can to meet their needs. Do you have some anxiety about being away and want pictures daily? Got it covered. My experience with house cleaning also menas I take care of the spaces I am staying so I am happy to water house plants and take care of gardens if needed.

“First time using Rover and having Chelsie do drop-in visits. My 3 y.o. tabby jumped in her lap and rubbed on her during the meet-and-greet. 9 y.o. floofer took a few days to warm up although she did do an unexpected observe from a favorite perch. But Chelsie charmed her in the end. I especially appreciated the pics and short vid of my fur kids. Really happy for her care of them!”

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs since I could remember! I’ve never known life without a furry companion by my side and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am a nurse by day trying to cure my burnout by caring for your furry friends! I am an excellent communicator and I will keep you informed every step of the day. I just moved to the area with my two Australian Shepards and a cat. My schedule is completely open right now and I’d love to take your furry friend on an adventure while we explore our new neighborhood! I have a fenced in backyard that backs up to nature trails. We have pet cameras so we can always keep a watchful eye on the animals and we love walking around and exploring new areas! I can really provide whatever environment your dog/cat will do best in!

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats on a farm, so I have lots of experience with animals of varying ages and needs. I am consistent with medications and have experience caring for senior or ailing animals. I have a pretty free schedule save for Mondays and Tuesdays, in which I will be in Puyallup for a job! I work an on-call job Wednesday-Saturday but at this moment I am not very busy. I am always free in the evenings and early mornings. I do not offer at-home services due to owning an elderly cat, however I have experience with house sitting for families with dogs and/or cats. I will give your pet all the love and attention they wish for, but I also know when to give them space. I am also used to working with high-maintenance pets. I know all the good spots for a walk and my car is large enough to fit most animals, so I can take them for vet visits or to a park.

“Darby was wonderful - willing to work with my janky schedule on extremely short notice over the holidays and come take care of my cats. Not only that, but when there was a power outage she noticed that the house was cooler than usual and she made sure things kicked back on so my kitties didn't freeze. If you're still on the fence for who to call for your pets, she's the one!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was young. I love animals and my house has always been filled with a couple pets mostly dogs. I have a huge fully fenced almost acre backyard with a lot of play time for all animals! I have a perfect neighborhood that I am able to walk your animals around. Definitely plenty of room to get the zoomies out! I care about your animals and would love to show them the attention and love I have given my animals over many many years! I currently work mostly from home and am home throughout the day to be able to let your animals outside or to play with! I have a lot of room for activities! I have a full fenced almost acre yard. I have one small dog in our house who is friendly and loves to play with his friends. I have a couple kids who absolutely adore animals as well! I truly have a loving home filled with lots of room!

About: Growing up with six Great Danes, a Rottweiler, Affenpinscher, Daschund, and a Shih Tzu, I developed a deep love and understanding of dogs of all sizes from an early age. Today, I’m the proud owner of three large, playful Goldendoodles who keep me active and constantly smiling. With years of hands-on experience caring for both giant breeds and small companions, I’m confident handling dogs with varying temperaments, energy levels, and special needs. Whether your pup loves cuddles, long walks, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to provide reliable, loving care. I’m a recently retired Army Veteran currently looking for part time work, so my schedule is very open and I am certainly flexible to helping with your fur babies! Something I have personally always feared is ensuring my own dogs don’t escape and are safe when left at home. I can assure you I will help keep your dogs on a set routine, provide a comfortable and safe environment for them to play, and ensure they are all safe and sound before leaving a visit!

About: I am an 23 year old dog enthusiast. I love watching my own dogs as well as others, and I have always paid close and careful attention to the dogs I watch. Rest assured, your dogs will always be the center of attention while I’m around! I am patient and will treat your dogs with the utmost care and respect. I will be sure to provide the best care for your pet - I know how it feels to leave them with a stranger. I just moved here from Bend, OR and I love being able to spend time with dogs, as I wasn't able to bring mine with me! I look forward to working with you and your pets! I am currently working full time, but am typically off work by 7pm. I am off on Sundays and Mondays. I have the ability to take an hour lunch, so I can check in on your dog in the middle of the day. I will be an attentive guest in your home - playing with and watching your dog while you are away. I can easily crate them if needed, but I would only use this option if you suggested it or it was necessary.

“I am so glad I found Dianne. She was very easy to work with, was communicative, and treated our pups like one of her own! She did drop in visits for us and I knew our dogs were taken care of. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable sitter.”

About: I've had my own dog for over three years and he's been my best friend. I know how special these babies are. They deserve the best care. I have a very open schedule at the moment and am able to take on whatever is needed at the moment. Just let me know what your needs are. I do not offer in-home service at the moment. I live in an apartment and do not offer this at the current moment. thank you.

About: Welcome to my home, and your cat or dog's new favorite place to stay, Eggbutt Ranch - 3 acres of pet paradise. (For cat boarding- please see cat care details!) Here on my little ranch, I have 3 acres on which I raise and care for my beloved horse, chickens, and goats. With so many different animals and sights to see on the ranch, your pet will have plenty to sniff and explore across the acreage, including the creek (and the wildlife that live along the creek!) that runs through my property. For your pet's safety as well as my animals, I do not let your pet directly interact with the ranch animals, and they are kept on leash, but they can certainly see and smell them as your pet accompanys me on my daily feeding and watering of the ranch animals, getting to see and smell so many new things! Being a remote/online master's student, I am home 24/7 to watch over and care for your beloved pets, and have great flexibility in my schedule. Your pet is never alone, except for maybe an hour if I have to dash out to the grocery store! They do not leave my sight, and enjoy multiple outings throughout the day, generally every 2 hours to go out and go potty, and take a mini walk around the property or play a game of fetch. With every boarded dog, I take them on a daily 45-60 minute walk around the nearby neighborhoods to get exercise and some sniffing enrichment to see and smell even more new things. This is typically conducted in the morning after breakfast, but is highly dependent on when there is a break in the rain. If it is raining, we just look for when there is a dry patch throughout the day and go for our walk then. If your dog cannot handle a 45 minute walk, I modify the walk so that it is shorter and can better accommodate that animal's fitness level and ability. If your dog is very high energy and walk doesn't quite meet their exercise needs, I can also jog/run with them to help get that energy out! Aside from a daily exercise and enrichment walk and mini-walks around the property every few hours, I also try to once daily have indoor or outdoor play sessions with toys. If your dog loves tug-o-war, we play that! If they love to fetch, we throw the ball! If they are not much toy motivated, and just like to snuggle up and get some good belly rubs, we do that too! I try to include play sessions during the day to keep them engaged, mentally and physically stimulated, and happy. Being an outdoors person myself, your dog will also get to join me outside as I continuously work on and improve my property! They get to join me outside and enjoy the fresh air while I keep an eye on them and work on fencing, woodworking projects, gardening, and more. With owner approval, I also take them with me on hikes on occasion at the nearby hiking trails and state and county parks. Your pet becomes a part of my life while they are here. They aren't left out of anything, so they're never bored! For all pets boarded with me, I only take on one family and their pets at a time, in order to keep your pet safe, and keep the number of animals to a manageable level. Rest assured, when you board with me, your pet(s) are the only one getting all the love and attention! Strange dogs or kitties don't always mix well, so I make it a policy to only board one family's pet(s) at a time in order to keep everyone safe. I hold a similar policy for doggy daycare services, I only take on one family's pets per day. If your requested boarding days overlap with a day I am providing daycare services for another client, that is ok, I will just inform you that there are other dogs in the house that day, and keep them separated. I do this for everyone's safety, as strange animals don't always mix well, especially in what may be a new and unfamiliar environment for your pet. Again, when you board with me, your pet(s) are the only ones being boarded at that time due to my aforementioned policy. It may just be that they overlap with a daycare day, which I will let you know of. I make it a practice to send a text/message as well as a few photos of your pet(s) each day to update you as to how they are doing, and to give you peace of mind that they are safe and having fun! If you are boarding with me or using day-care services, I have three partially-fenced acres. Given that it is currently only partially fenced, I keep all animals on a leash/long leash when we go outside for their safety. I use a long leash (22-40 feet long) so that your pet can still explore and run around and have fun while we play fetch and explore around the acreage, but is still safe. Please reach out with any questions, I'd be happy to answer and help! Although this is my first time using Rover, rest assured I have petsat for 15+ years now, for a variety of animals, having begun pet sitting for a large variety for animals of all sizes, ages, and abilities, both domestic and farm, since age 10. Schedule: I'm currently a masters students, in a remote/online program, so I am home 24/7, minus when I run to get groceries. Thanks to my extraordinarily flexible schedule, I have the ability to switch around my own items or "to-do" items in order to meet your pets needs. Safety, trust, environment: I only board one client, or one family's pets at a time, and only take on one client/family's pet(s) per day. This is to not only ensure that your pet is getting my full attention and love, and the number of animals to a manageable number, but to keep them safe, as animals from different families don't always mix well. If your boarding day happens to overlap with a day that I am providing daycare services, I will inform you of this, though rest assured the animals will be kept separate until the daycare clients are picked up. I have baby/pet gates I can utilize for this purpose. I have on hand a small animal first aid kit that I have used in the past for my own animals when needed. This is at the ready in case your sweet pet needs a small cut or scrape disinfected. In the event of a true emergency, I keep on hand a list of nearby emergency vets. During the night when it is time to sleep, dogs are created for their safety. Since it's impossible to keep a close eye on a dog when I am sleeping, I crate them in order to keep them from getting into something they shouldn't, and to prevent any mishaps. All my pet beds and bowls are washed in between boarding stays in order to eliminate any chances of germs or illness being passed between pets. In my home, I am very hands-on with all my animals care. From medications, to grooming, to exercise, training, and daily care and nutrition, I do it all myself, and am happy to provide the same for your beloved pet as well. For any pet boarded with me, or that is in day-care, or that I am providing drop-in visits for, each day you will be sent a photo with a short update on how your beloved critter is doing, including any concerns should they arise. This is something I have always done for anyone I have pet or ranch sat for, as I believe it brings peace of mind for all involved. For cat boarding, I have an empty bedroom in my home that can be utilized as a boarded cat "condo" in which they can be peacefully, and safely isolated from my own pets (4 cats) if needed or preferred, and in order to keep stress levels down if you would like. I can supply scratchers and toys during your cats stay, as well as beds, water and food bowls. Boarding rules: -Please make sure you bring your pet's food, and enough for the duration of their stay! -Please let me know if the animal has any behavioral issues (dog aggression, anxiety, fear, inappropriate elimination, etc). I will not take on dogs that have any human aggression or that have a bite history. -Please let me know if the animal has any medical issues. I can take most of these cases on, I just need to know what to expect, so that I can properly care for the animal, or let you know if I am not the right fit. -Please provide a care sheet for each animal, ideally including their name, age, sex, weight, emergency contacts, veterinarian, any medical concerns, current food and amount they eat per day, their vaccination status, microchip status, as well as any relevant medical or life history. This care sheet will be used not only to provide the best care possible for your pet, but also in case of emergency, should your pet need a vet visit. -Animals must be up to date on their vaccinations and any flea/tick/heartworm medication.

This care sheet will be used not only to provide the best care possible for your pet, but also in case of emergency, should your pet need a vet visit. -Animals must be up to date on their vaccinations and any flea/tick/heartworm medication.
