About: If I am watching your pet for more than a day, I will absolutely crochet them a fun hat or accessory! I’ve always been comfortable around animals and genuinely love spending time with them. I’m patient, attentive, and good at picking up on an animal’s individual personality, routine, and comfort level. I’m reliable with schedules and details, so feeding times, medications, walks, check-ins, and special instructions are taken seriously. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets who are energetic, shy, anxious, goofy, or just very particular about how they like things done. My goal is to keep their routine as normal and low-stress as possible and make sure they feel safe, cared for. I’m comfortable administering medications and have experience with both oral and injectable medications. I’m attentive to dosing instructions, timing, and making the process as calm and low-stress as possible. I’m also genuinely excited about dog walking. I’m working on being more active myself, so your dog gets a reliable walking buddy and I get an enthusiastic accountability partner. I work a consistent full-time schedule, with quite a bit of flexibility throughout the day. It makes it easy for me to plan pet care reliably throughout and around my work hours. My work hours are 6:00am-2:30 pm Tuesday - Saturday. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and other care, and I’m happy to coordinate a routine that works well for both you and your pet. I value consistency and punctuality, especially when pets are used to a specific feeding, walking, or medication schedule I live in a pet-friendly apartment near lots of walking trails. I currently don’t have any pets in the home(unless you count a shrimp 🦐) I take pet care instructions seriously and always try to keep your pet’s routine as familiar and low stress as possible. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, medications, behavior, doors and gates, leash safety, and anything else you want handled a particular way. I’m respectful of your home and your pet’s boundaries, and I won’t force interaction with a nervous or shy animal. I’m also happy to send photos and updates during visits so you know how things are going.

About: Hi! We’re Brittany and Chris, and we’ve been dog people our entire lives. We know that leaving your pup with someone else can be a big leap of trust — they’re family, after all! Our goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your dog feels right at home with us. We’ve both grown up with dogs and most recently had the joy of caring for our beloved Border Collie, Charley, through his senior years. We understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and quirks, and we’re happy to follow whatever helps your pup feel comfortable and cared for. Our home is clean, cozy, and very dog-friendly. We’re big fans of couch cuddles, playtime, and having a pup happily hanging out alongside us. If your dog thinks the best place in the house is curled up on the couch or snuggled in bed with their people, they’ll fit right in here! We have a securely fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, but your pup will never be left outside unsupervised. We’re also within walking distance of beautiful Bidwell Park, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, exploring, and fresh air. I work from home, which means your dog will have lots of company throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long stretches. We’ll give your pup plenty of love, attention, playtime, and, of course, as many cuddles as they’re willing to accept. We’d love to get to know you and your four-legged family member and make their stay with us feel like a home away from home! Brittany works from home and has a very flexible schedule so can spend all day with your dog. We are happy to modify our daily routines to accommodate your dogs's normal walking and feeding schedule so they feel right at home. We can also accommodate last minute bookings. Your pup’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a securely fenced yard where your dog can enjoy outdoor time, but we will always supervise them while they’re outside. Inside, they’re welcome to make themselves completely at home — including cuddling up on the couch or sleeping on the bed with us. We only host one family’s dogs at a time, so your pup gets our full attention without having to share our home with unfamiliar dogs. We also do not have children, creating a calm and comfortable environment where your dog can settle in and feel at ease. We’ll follow your pup’s routines, preferences, and house rules as closely as possible so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for throughout their stay.

About: I volunteered at Haven Humane Society in Redding for three years, where I gained a lot of experience caring for both cats and dogs. While I was there, I helped clean and sanitize their areas, walked dogs, and spent time socializing with the cats. In my personal life, I have a kitty who is my pride and joy! He does well with other animals and has definitely made my love for animals even stronger. I also had a dog who recently passed away. I had her since she was a puppy and helped train and care for her throughout her life, so I’m very familiar with the puppy world and all the patience and attention that comes with it! I’ve always loved animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your pets. I would treat every pet I care for like they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently a student at Butte College, so my schedule gives me plenty of time to care for and spend time with your furry friends! I usually have classes in the mornings, so most afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, and making sure your pets get plenty of attention throughout the day. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I’m happy to work with you and your pet’s normal routine! I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pets, so I’ll always do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. For boarding, I’ll make sure your pet has a comfortable and safe space in my home, along with plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks. I do have a cat of my own who does well with other animals, so I will always make sure everyone is introduced safely and is comfortable around each other. For dog walking, I’ll make sure your dog is secure on their leash and follow any instructions you have for their walks. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll respect your space, follow your pet’s normal routine, and make sure everything is clean and secure before I leave. I’m also more than happy to send pictures and updates while your pet is with me because I know how nice it is to know your furry friend is safe and being taken care of!

About: I’ve owned dogs most all of my life . I’m 44 and currently have a 4 yr old ShihTzu. She is the love of my life . I am patient , attentive, caring, sweet, kind, and loving. Right now I am waiting for a new job to come through. So I have a lot of time on my hands. Im available for all shifts including boarding , overnights or just for a couple of hrs . I can tailor you needs to what you are exactly needing and wanting . I have a fenced area for potty and a 5 acre walking area or playing area . I also have a sweet fur baby that loves to play. Or if yours isn’t friendly with others I can kennel her. If you would like your dog to be kenneled that’s fine too or if you would like them to roam free (my preference) they can do that as well. It’s your fur baby so it’s up to you not me .

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and have over 20 years of experience caring for my own dogs as well as dogs belonging to family, friends, and neighbors. I truly love animals and understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I provide lots of attention, affection, playtime, daily walks, and outdoor time in our large, securely fenced backyard. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, and care routine so they can feel as comfortable and at home as possible. Your dog will be treated like part of our family while they’re here. I currently work as a substitute teacher about 1–2 days per week, so I am home most days and evenings. This gives me plenty of time to give your dog lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and exercise. I also plan to take dogs in my care on a daily walk and make sure they get plenty of love and attention throughout their stay. I have a large, securely fenced backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, and enjoy time outside. I also have friendly dogs of my own, so visiting dogs can have companionship and playtime when appropriate. I will always follow your dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, and care routine as closely as possible. I’m happy to accommodate crates if needed and will make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while staying with us.

About: I have worked as a detection dog handler and gun dog handler for a few years now. I have also trained my own dog to complete multiple tasks for different purposes. I know how to get your pup tired mentally and physically while having fun and have the patience necessary to help them learn new tricks and become familiar with a new place! I have a flexible work schedule so rest assured that your pup will get plenty of exercise and will play fun games throughout the day! I also live very close to a fenced tennis court (if your pup is into tennis balls and fetching) and a fenced park with soccer fields. I provide a safe and clean environment with a fenced yard and a friendly and playful dog to keep your pup company. I have an extra crate (size XL) if your pup is crated-trained. I also have lots of room to accommodate your own crate inside my living room. I have a doggie treadmill (Dog Trotter USA Inc), which we use to keep our dog active during very hot weather, and can use for your pup as well if interested! I always follow the owner’s instructions closely. Dogs are never unattended for long periods of time, and I always monitor them to make sure they’re feeling safe and comfortable at all times.
