“Sarah was amazing with boarding care. I got updates and photos daily which was so nice. Definitely will be using again next to we need to board. Sarah will definitely care and love your animals like they were her own!”

“Wonderful supportive care sitter..,didn’t tip because I I already did tip. My needs are unpredictable and she rose to the challenge with extraordinary cheer and kindness…will use her indefinitely!”

“Jennifer was amazing! She was recommended to us by a friend, and made our dog’s first stay with a dog sitter much less stressful. She texted us photos and videos during the stay, which was so helpful! Our dog had so much fun playing with the other pups, and we felt confident about their interactions because Jennifer conducted a thorough intake with us several weeks before the booking to ensure we were a good match!”

“Jessie did a great job taking care of my pup while I was away. Jessie was friendly as were her dogs. I got photos daily and updates on what Jovi was up. I appreciated the quality care and highly recommend Jessie and her "pack" to anyone looking for dog care.”

“Lesly was great with our Dog JJ. He was apparently very comfortable at her place and got lots of attention. She even Texted us several photos of him and he didn’t show any symptoms of separation anxiety, that we were worried about. Great Sitter!”

“Forest is awesome!!! We were quite skeptical because we had left our dog William with others and it was a disaster. We met up with Forest and let will meet him. They hit it off almost immediately. Forest is professional, responsible, caring and really takes his role seriously. He once told me, “ I want your dog to come back to you as healthy and happy as he was dropped off to me.” I felt that! Will is like my child and I worry when we are away, but I know if he is with Forest (and Norma-who Will absolutely adores) I KNOW he is getting the best possible care. He even sends me pictures and updates. Thank you Forest for taking great care of our fur baby when we have to be away!”

“Holly is amazing. She made us feel at ease from the minute we walked in the door for our meet & greet. She sent us many pictures along with updates to keep us informed while he was with her. He even got to visit their gym - I think he is now a gym-dog!!! Melvin seemed happy and content while in her care. You can tell she just loves animals and is so good with them - we will definitely have Mel stay with her next time we need a sitter. Thanks Holly for loving our Mel like we do!”

“She was absolutely amazing with my pup! She followed his routine, gave plenty of playtime and attention, and sent me lots of photos and updates, which I really appreciated. He had a great time playing with her dogs too! I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such good hands. I would highly recommend her if your looking for such amazing care.”

About: I'm very loving & caring for animals & their needs, and I feel they all deserve the same respect as their human families. I've grown up surrounded by dogs & cats, never living without at least 3. Animals are all such unique individuals & I am excited to have an opportunity to meet and take care of all the new furry friends (: I'm a stay at home mom, born & raised in Hawaii. Maintaining whatever structure and discipline necessary is a very important priority when it comes to animal care, as well as the individual needs of the pet itself, however needed. Animals are a part of our familes, they were just born a bit little different than us (: Being a stay at home mom allows me to have lots of flexibility when it comes to scheduling, I am happy to accommodate whatever your animal might need (: All animals have such different wants & needs. I love taking time to get to know an animal as an individual, & then figure out which way to interact with them best. It’s important not to force an animal into something they’re not comfortable with.

About: I’ve owned dogs most all of my life . I’m 44 and currently have a 4 yr old ShihTzu. She is the love of my life . I am patient , attentive, caring, sweet, kind, and loving. Right now I am waiting for a new job to come through. So I have a lot of time on my hands. Im available for all shifts including boarding , overnights or just for a couple of hrs . I can tailor you needs to what you are exactly needing and wanting . I have a fenced area for potty and a 5 acre walking area or playing area . I also have a sweet fur baby that loves to play. Or if yours isn’t friendly with others I can kennel her. If you would like your dog to be kenneled that’s fine too or if you would like them to roam free (my preference) they can do that as well. It’s your fur baby so it’s up to you not me .
About: I had my own cat named Jesse for 16 years. He was the love of my life. My best friend, child and ruled the home. I work as a caregiver part time so I make my own schedule. I am home most of the time available to give loving attention. I live in a very pet friendly community with a large courtyard. Many dogs and cats live here. California Park Lake is across the street.
“Amazing Service!! I needed boarding for my dog Honey VERY last minute and Jessica was happy to help! She did a great job at caring for my girl and even sending photos of my dog throughout the time she was there, which I really appreciated. I would definitely rebook with her!”

“This was Archie’s third stay with Yessenia, and as always, he came home a very happy dog! It is such a gift to be able to leave your fur baby with a kind, communicative person who you know your dog is happy and safe with. Thank you Yessenia!”

About: I have worked as a detection dog handler and gun dog handler for a few years now. I have also trained my own dog to complete multiple tasks for different purposes. I know how to get your pup tired mentally and physically while having fun and have the patience necessary to help them learn new tricks and become familiar with a new place! I have a flexible work schedule so rest assured that your pup will get plenty of exercise and will play fun games throughout the day! I also live very close to a fenced tennis court (if your pup is into tennis balls and fetching) and a fenced park with soccer fields. I provide a safe and clean environment with a fenced yard and a friendly and playful dog to keep your pup company. I have an extra crate (size XL) if your pup is crated-trained. I also have lots of room to accommodate your own crate inside my living room. I have a doggie treadmill (Dog Trotter USA Inc), which we use to keep our dog active during very hot weather, and can use for your pup as well if interested! I always follow the owner’s instructions closely. Dogs are never unattended for long periods of time, and I always monitor them to make sure they’re feeling safe and comfortable at all times.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our dog, Cedar, over Memorial Day weekend! From the moment we dropped her off, it was clear Mark was going to treat her like one of the family. We received regular updates and photos that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Cedar came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief to know she was in a home full of love and attention. We’re so grateful for the care, kindness, and thoughtfulness—and we’ll absolutely be booking again. Highly recommend!”

“Lisa is a very nice person and did an amazing job taking care of my Yorki-poo! She was very attentive and caring. She communicated with me and gave updates throughout my dogs stay. Highly recommend her!”

“Deena was great with my dogs she was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Greatly appreciate the photos and updates! The dogs had a great yard to run in with lots of toys. Highly recommend Deena for your pet sitting needs! Thank you!!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
