“I left my sweet but high-medical needs senior lab, Opal, with Kena and her family, and they took perfect care of her. Her kids were immediately gentle and kind to Opal, greeting her, petting her ears, and helping to brush her. Over the weekend I got updates about how Opal was doing, reassurance that she was getting her meds, and lovely photos of her resting or exploring in the yard. When I went to pick Opal up, she was happy to see me, but it was clear she felt very at home with Kena and the kids, and it even took a little convincing to get her to come out the door with me to get in the car. I would take her back to Kena for future care in a heartbeat.”

About: I have owned dogs - big and small dogs- and cats all my life! I love animals, domestic pets and farm animals… they are a passion of mine. I truly believe everyone should know and experience the love of a pet! I went to school studying wildlife biology and animal behavior. I have worked with rescues from all over NorCal and at a dog daycare in Chico (in one day would be with 30-40 dogs of all breeds and sizes) and had my own business caring for and whelping new dog moms and their newborn puppies- including special needs pups (pups needing tube feeding, oxygen, etc). Animals are a huge part of my daily life and I hope always will be. They are not only a love but also a passion of mine as long as I can remember. I am extremely trust worthy and committed to caring for animals, there’s nothing else I’d rather be doing! ** I can also offer cleaning services in your home while hanging out longer with your pet, ask for more information! About: I have worked as a detection dog handler and gun dog handler for a few years now. I have also trained my own dog to complete multiple tasks for different purposes. I know how to get your pup tired mentally and physically while having fun and have the patience necessary to help them learn new tricks and become familiar with a new place! I have a flexible work schedule so rest assured that your pup will get plenty of exercise and will play fun games throughout the day! I also live very close to a fenced tennis court (if your pup is into tennis balls and fetching) and a fenced park with soccer fields. I provide a safe and clean environment with a fenced yard and a friendly and playful dog to keep your pup company. I have an extra crate (size XL) if your pup is crated-trained. I also have lots of room to accommodate your own crate inside my living room. I have a doggie treadmill (Dog Trotter USA Inc), which we use to keep our dog active during very hot weather, and can use for your pup as well if interested! I always follow the owner’s instructions closely. Dogs are never unattended for long periods of time, and I always monitor them to make sure they’re feeling safe and comfortable at all times.

About: I’ve owned dogs most all of my life . I’m 44 and currently have a 4 yr old ShihTzu. She is the love of my life . I am patient , attentive, caring, sweet, kind, and loving. Right now I am waiting for a new job to come through. So I have a lot of time on my hands. Im available for all shifts including boarding , overnights or just for a couple of hrs . I can tailor you needs to what you are exactly needing and wanting . I have a fenced area for potty and a 5 acre walking area or playing area . I also have a sweet fur baby that loves to play. Or if yours isn’t friendly with others I can kennel her. If you would like your dog to be kenneled that’s fine too or if you would like them to roam free (my preference) they can do that as well. It’s your fur baby so it’s up to you not me .

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, so being around them has always felt natural to me. I recently graduated from Chico state and currently have two dogs of my own a 6 year old toy poodle and a 5 months old border collie mix. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog or cat with someone else. That’s why I do my best to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. Whether your pet loves to play, go for walks, or just relax and get cuddles, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family, and I’ll always keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away! I currently work part time at Bath & Body Works and usually only have 2–3 shifts a week, so my schedule is very flexible. When I’m not working, I’m home spending time with my own dogs. This allows me to be available for different drop-off and pick-up times and gives me plenty of time to provide walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I treat every pet like they’re one of my own. My home is a safe, loving environment where pets get lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll do my best to follow their normal routine and help them feel right at home.

About: I have helped out w my friends pets, both dogs & cats throughout the years, I have worked w young & adult animals. With my flexible schedule, I can care for animals per their specific needs. My schedule is flexible since my daily job is a hairdresser, so I can adjust my schedule to fit in needs for each animal individually. I have a small fenced in yard at my home, would prefer to do in clients home, since most animals are more comfortable with that.
