About: Hi ya'll! My name is Christy & I can't wait to meet your and your fur babies! I have loved animals since I was just a small girl. I have always had dogs and cats while growing up. I currently have two miniature schnauzers, Dooney and Berkeley, and a gray cat, Storm. They are my world! I previously worked for 4 years at a well known doggie day care and boarding facility, Camp Bow Wow. My tasks included feedings (dry & wet food, special diets, etc), administering medications, basic bathing & nail trims, walking, exercise, changing and cleaning kennels, and provided all the kisses, belly runs and ear scratches. I am familiar and comfortable with all breeds and personalities. I have been lucky enough to care for dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and needs. Anything you and your fur babies need, I can provide :) Especially pictures while you're away! I currently work from home, so I am available at any and all times for drop-in visits and such. I am available for overnights as needed as well. My dogs are leash walked in my yard and neighborhood, I also have an invisible fence that is an option if your dog is familiar with one. Depending on your situation, I can provide walks, or supervise their outdoor time.

Lannette recently took care of my three cats and two guinea pigs while I was out of town. My care request was last minute and Lannette readily made herself available to stop by house so I could introduce her to my pets and show her what needed to be done. It was clear from the moment I met her that she has a heart for animals and I felt very comfortable leaving mine in her care. Lannette is very responsive to messages and kept me updated with texts and pictures of my pets while I was gone. This gave me an extra level of comfort while on my trip which made it easier to relax and enjoy my vacation. When I returned home all my pets were happy, healthy, and well cared for! Lannette is comfortable with a variety of animals, to include small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. About: I am an NC State University Alum with degrees in Animal Science and Fisheries, Wildlife, & Conservation Biology. I have a lifetime of personal experience with animals and over 15 years of professional experience as a veterinary assistant, research technician, groomer, and pet sitter. I have worked with hundreds of animals of various species including lions, tigers, leopards, lemurs, reptiles, songbirds, game animals, local wildlife, and domestic animals. Learning how to care for each of these animal's individual needs, training, rehabilitating, administering medications, and adding enrichment to their lives has become a passion. Throughout my career I have learned how to truly understand animals; How they feel, communicate, behave, and how to help them thrive. My love has ultimately led me to offer well-rounded pet services to pet lovers like me who believe that- for the special place our pets hold in our hearts, they deserve extra special treatment. Our facility is located on-site on our 8 acre homestead where we house our small farm and little pup pack of our own. I am currently on-site full time with plenty of time for your pet's needs. When we aren't playing or on a leashed walk, they have access to large outdoor lots with a premium view of our farm animals. They get to breathe in the salty country air and enrich their minds with new animals, wildlife, plants, and a day of adventure that will keep them dreaming of their Coastal Country oasis! Our facility is located just behind our home on our 8 acre homestead. I am working in and around the facility all day with your pets as my focus. During the day they get let out multiple times for playtime in our outdoor lots with intermittent breaks for a cozy snooze. While they are outside I play with them, get to know them, bond with them, and keep them company just as if they were my babies. Instead of keeping them couped up with me inside- boring- if the weather is nice, we will be taking full advantage of it! Our facility is equipped with a grooming salon. If you'd like them back squeaky clean or with a fresh new do, we got 'ya covered!
