“Thank you Emily for your exceptional care provided for Sprouty. Throughout your time, you consistently went above and beyond our expectations. The extra time you spent getting to know Sprouty's unique personality, quirks, and anxieties truly made a significant impact on Sprouty's well-being. The regular updates and pictures you provided were immensely reassuring and helped us feel connected to Sprouty, while we were away. Would recommend you to our friends and family and would definitely consider next time if we are in the area. Thank you.”

“Elaine was great with my pup Nugget. She sent daily pictures and updated me each evening about Nugget's day. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my fur baby was in such good hands. Will definitely book Elaine again!”

“Very friendly and communicative. Sent photo updates. Very quick response time. Oakley seemed so happy to be there and got along with her family well. My dog had an uncharacteristic accident (pee) over night and Ana handled this without issue or frustration. She helped Oakleys settle in and feel comfortable so this didn’t happen again!”
“My dog stays 2 nights and he was ok. She sends pic of him ?. He was having his belly rub that he loves, and he gets to play outside I will definitely book with her again .”

“Jazmine (and her boyfriend Norman) took wonderful care of our 12-year-old black Lab, Judy, who is a cancer survivor and a bit particular—sweet, but needy and not a fan of other dogs. Jazmine cared for her in her home, made sure she had her morning medicine, and sent us daily updates with snuggle photos that made us feel completely at ease. Judy was clearly loved and beautifully looked after. Warm, professional, and trustworthy—highly recommend.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Sharon. She’s an amazingly, caring woman who took exceptional care of Pia, my 14 year-old Shih Tzu in her home. And I encourage anyone else who wants a dog sitter - who takes small dogs, only one at a time, and is genuinely interested & attentive to your fur baby’s needs - book with Sharon. Highly recommend. I already have another trip planned, & Pia will be with Sharon in her lovely ranch home & fenced yard!”

“Yuli and her family were amazing and welcomed Buddy into their family with open arms. We got tons of updates, pictures and videos and it was clear he was so happy and relaxed with them. I appreciate them so much and will definitely use her again!”

“Amanda was wonderful and we would be happy to have her sit for our babies again when we are in the area! She and her husband have a lovely set up with a beautiful front yard. And I know that their easy-going and relaxed manner gets conveyed to the animals in their care.”

“Stefanie was excatly what I was looking for!!! She took amazing care of my four legged child. I will ask her again and again. This was my first time using a sitter that wasn’t a friend or family. Seriously a wonderful experience she’s kind, compassionate, caring 💕for my elderly dog💕”

“Kristie accepted a last minute booking when we were having a family emergency. Kristie and her family show our Goose so much love. We know she is always happy, loved and safe with Kristie. During a tough time, it was a relief to know our sweet dog was well taken care of.”

“We used Matt to board our dog for 10 days! We are newbies to Rover & were at first a little hesitant. Matt was amazing. He had our dog over for a little meet and greet with his two dogs prior to booking & answered all our questions. You can tell he has a genuine love for dogs and an ideal set up at his home to be a host. He took wonderful care of our dog and sent pictures often which was so kind. We are so thankful our dog had a little vacation herself! We will 100% be using Matt again in the future. All things positive to say!”

“Carole was great. My dog, Liam was so happy there. He made new friends with his stay. Her dogs were welcoming to Liam. Carole was great with communication and updating me with photos and videos. Highly recommend.”

“Hannah took great care of my baby. She’s super chill and sweet. Sent daily pictures of my dog while in her care. Normally my dog does not eat her food if I’m not around but that wasn’t the case with Hannah. I’d definitely recommend using her services!”

“Molly's stay with Doug was stress free. When I picked her up she was healthy and relaxed, which is saying a lot because she tends to be a bit on the nervous side. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Doug.”

“This place, just a few miles out from Bath PA, is an old farm in the process of renovation. It served as a perfectly lovely situation for my little dog to have a few days at "camp." There are resident pets who seemed to welcome the visitor ans make friends quite quickly. Michelle kept my " Boots" close to her but pretty free to roam and explore the farm on a long lead. Many pictures demonstrating his happy exploration of the setting were provided. Michelle was very helpful and flexible about the need to unexpectedly extend the stay and handled the details with Rover quickly and effectively. I had no concerns about my pet's welfare and contentment. I miss my little shadow when I'm away, but found him happy, relaxed and in fine shape when I picked him up. I am glad to recommend this place and sitter highly and quite likely to recommend this sit highly and am quite likely to use it again.”

“Thank you so much Melissa and Angel! It was my first time using them and they made me feel at ease. They send me pictures and updates throughout the whole stay on how Rocky was doing. See you guys soon!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
