“We arrived in Fort Lauderdale for an extended vacation. Between the long drive here from Chicago and the different settings on the way our somewhat clingy dog was even more clingy and nervous than usual. She was at our side constantly, but we needed to find a sitter for a few hours/days to allow us to golf, fish, etc. without the dog at our side. Tho we were nervous about leaving Bella with a stranger in a new place, it all worked out beautifully. Jody's house was well set up for pets and her own dogs were very friendly. Jody was very welcoming and calmed our fears. When we returned, we half expected to see our dog acting anxious, but she was just as calm and happy as if she had spent the day with us. About: I grew up in an animal loving household. I have had dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and ferrets. Raised my girl from 8 weeks old and she’ll be turning 9 yrs this year. I was also a foster mom for my local shelter where I provided a safe place for over 15 dogs, puppies, kittens, and cats I work from home, so I can provide multiple walks a day for dogs as well as provide a watchful eye while boarding your baby.
