About: What most sets us apart is the level of care we give and how flexible our schedules are. Your dog will likely never be alone. They will also receive organic free range egg and meat snacks as a topper for their kibble, and have a daily forest walk or run. DIVERSE EXPERIENCE We have experience with all kinds of dogs, all ages and temperaments. We will ensure the puppies get proper potty training and are on a proper schedule (can be exactly as you specify). We can also help your dog to not jump up, not pull on the leash, and he'll with basic training like recall, sit, stay. We have cared for many an elderly dog helping them be as comfortable as possible. I was able to help a grieving dog, who did not want to do much of anything, to enjoy running through the woods and playing again. We also have safely had a blind dog in our care as well. I have been around dogs all my life, and I know how to help timid dogs relax, when to give them space and when they need me to simply love on them. For example, we had one dog who would run away from you, but when we finally set him on the couch and pet him he just about melted into a snuggly ball! TRAINING & PHILOSOPHIES I am often learning more about dog psychology and training methods. I only support dominance hierarchies to the extent that it helps the dog. If a dog believes they must be in control because they don’t have a good leader, they will be more stressed out. This is unfair to the dog. I will never be unnecessarily rough with your pet though and I use positive reinforcement first. I have used this experience with success on friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs, as well as my own. My dog sits for over a minute until I tell him to Come. I see each animal as a unique soul who is here to experience and learn. I will be patient with your pet, kind but firm, and we will have loads of fun! LIFE WITH US Your dog will likely never have to be alone while staying with us. My husband and I hardly leave our small homestead, and when we do, we typically bring our dog and whatever dogs we are sitting along also. We can always accommodate crate training as well, and can bring it along if we will be gone longer than a half hour. We can also stick to a strict feeding schedule and potty schedule if it's best for your dog, especially with potty training puppies. Along those lines, your pet will never lack for entertainment. Between our property and my respective parents' homes that we often visit, we have 60+ acres of wooded trails to let the dogs get exercise and grounded in nature. Whether on leash or off, I will ensure they have time to run and sniff. We will happily throw a ball or play tug also. When we're at home, we are often doing projects inside or outside and the dogs are welcome to tag along. Your pet will safely be exposed to chickens, probably pigs and goats, and possibly horses and sheep too! They may even get a chance to swim in the river and play on the beach. We have one dog: a whippet mix. We let him in and out as he chooses, and have a couple acres for him to run and play on. We often play fetch. I love going for runs and walks and would happily bring your pup along, depending on his or her energy level. I have a healthy understanding of how to keep a healthy leash contact with the dog, and if need be, I am quite strong if I need to keep the dog from running.

“Margie has lifelong experience with dogs. She is extremely safety conscious, always using a leash when pet is outdoors, unless in a secure fenced yard. She understands the importance of mental stimulation through play and talking to them.”

5. Lesley C.
“Excellent situation. Lesley was awesome! Kind and loving to our dog. I felt very safe and comfortable leaving him there. Her property and space was as described. She was extremely helpful in setting up the sitting. Communication was fast and reliable. I am so very thrilled to have found Lesley for the few days we required Copper to stay with someone.i would definitely recommend her to someone else and use her again. I cannot sing enough praise. Highly satisfied with the experience.”
6. Shalyse P.
“Shalyse was wonderful taking care of my two baby kittens! She's such a natural with them especially having two cats that play all the time and are hyperactive she was there all along to make sure they treat her like she's me. I came back home one time and I saw them just sleeping next to where she's sitting and that just sold me then, she's always gonna be the one to take care of them.”
7. Karen P.
“Great, east stay for daycare. Huntly enjoyed his time and would definitely recommend.”
8. Charles T.

About: I have some vet school experience. I have taken care of new born puppies up to senior dogs. I have volunteered in animal shelters for years. I have two animals, 1 cat and 1 dog. Both are rescues and very loving and friendly with other animals. I will slowly interduce your animals to mine if you choice to have me sit them. I walk my dog. Let him outside while watching him on the lead (he likes to lay in the sun). The cat has his litter box and tons of toys (as does the dog). They are both very spoiled.

About: I have always had a soft spot for animals. I began working in the medical field but realized my heart was in the place to care for animals instead. I have my own "misfit farm" of unwanted animals and in my down time I am taking on dog walking/pet sitting. I am knowledgeable in many animals including dogs, cats birds, small animals, exotics and farm animals. I currently own a Great Pyrenees, Can Corso, Miniature dachshund, a cat plus 3 rescue goats, bunnies and a ton of chickens. I can also help with basic training and using an E collar. Medications or special needs animals is also something I am comfortable with. I do have kids who love to go on walks with me when I am dog walking, but it is not necessary for them to come with . My dog sitting calendar is filling up quickly! At this moment I am boarding dogs on a case by case basis so just reach out and we can chat! I am a mom to 3, but am pretty much open and available for your needs. Hanging out with animals is a strong passion of mine and I often use the extra cash to do things with my kids. I am available for walking, feeding, caring, loving and walking your babies of whatever species and breed. I am extremely responsible and comfortable with administering medication if need be and am very cautious when it comes to walking or letting the animal outside or when it comes to rules you have for your pet. There is very little I wouldn't be able to do, so little I can't even think of one at the moment. You can trust that I will love and care for your animals like they were my own. I can even show you pictures and videos of my very spoiled pets for reference!
