About: Hi my name is Carole. I had a petsitting business many years ago when I realized how difficult it was asking friends to take care of my menagerie all the time. Loved loved loved petsitting and all the interesting pets (and their owners) I met over the years. I recently retired and thought PERFECT this is what I want to do again! I currently have three dogs and a cat. But in the past I’ve had every animal you could think of…Potbelly pigs, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, Caiman gator, chameleons, goats, turkeys, ducks… I love animals! I have been involved with dog shows over the past 40 years ( do not currently show at all). Did mostly obedience and agility. And was very involved with our breed rescue group. Let your pet stay home with loving and compassionate care for your pet in the comfort of a familiar and safe environment. I am available anytime, as I said I am retired 😊 and home all the time. And able to travel… have a place out of state you need pets and home looked after? For boarding in my home…I have two separate fenced yard’s. A total of about a half an acre. Very secure and landscaped. The big yard has gardens and a ditch that dogs love to sniff around. And a small yard in case your dog doesn’t want to be around my dogs 😊. I also have a doggie door that goes out to a fenced in small area. I have three medium size dogs that are extremely mellow couch potatoes and get along with all dogs! For overnight stays or drop in visits in your home… Again I will try to keep them on their regular schedule and work with you for whatever you need for your pet!
“Super thrilled at the amount of care Stephanie gave my Shepard/husky mix! Plenty of playtime and walks that my boy was thoroughly tired when he got home. She covered any concerns I had left with her and ensured he got the care needed”

“Carrie is an incredible host! She is communicative, sends lots of updates, and clearly loves working with and caring for dogs. I feel so grateful knowing that my pup is in good hands.”

“Amanda was awesome! Dropped Moose off for a full day, as soon as we got home he passed out within 5 mins. A tired pup is a happy pup. Thanks so much for taking such great care of Moose”

About: Hi, we’re Tatiana and Svetlana. 🐾 Our family includes our daughter, June Rose, and our dog, Paloma. Dogs have always been part of our lives, and our home just wouldn’t feel complete without them. We know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so our goal is simple: to make them feel loved, comfortable, and safe while you’re away. Whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or just a quiet place to relax, we’ll care for your dog the way we would want someone to care for our own. We have a fenced yard, a park nearby, and plenty of time for attention and companionship. To us, dogs are family. ❤️ And when your dog stays with us, they’ll be treated like part of ours. 🐶🏡💕 My wife works from home, so your dog will have plenty of attention and company. We provide daily walks, a fenced yard, playtime, treats, and regular photo updates. Our goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home. Your pet's safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide a clean, calm, and dog-friendly home with a fenced yard, close supervision, daily walks, and plenty of affection. We carefully follow your pet's routine, including feeding, medications, and any special instructions, and we send regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident they're in good hands.

“Liz is absolutely amazing with Hammi! She was so kind and accommodating, even helping us out early in the morning. Hammi had a fantastic time under her care, meeting new friends and finding playmates. I’m so grateful for her kindness and flexibility, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again with Hammi!”

About: I have had pets my entire life in one way or another. While currently we do not have any pets, due to the passing of 3 dogs within a year due to age, we miss having animals around and in our home. I currently am working full time from home so have plenty of time to play/walk any animals. I have 3 children who are lovers of animals and love spoiling them. I offer boarding 24/7 due to my working from home that allows me that flexibility. Me and my children live in a townhome that does not have a yard, but there is plenty of room in the neighborhood for walks around. I can crate animals if preferred as well.

“Samantha was great with asking questions to learn about Kuma. She gave him lots of attention, sent cute pictures, and “pupdates”. He made himself at home. Thank you for loving on my boy!”

About: My wife and have had dogs most of our life and multiple dogs at the same time throughout our 15 years of marriage. She previously worked with HABIC (human animal bond in colorado) to train her dog as a therapy dog to work in hospitals. We currently have 2 dogs, Bear a 13 y/o pyrinesse and Sasha a 8 month old rez dog rescue. Dogs are always welcome here. Dog ages dont matter, Bear has a gentle spirit to him and he loves puppies. Our only requirement is the dogs do a meet and greet and as long as they are good with each other so are we. We can help with minor training i.e. potty training, crate training, sit, shake etc. if you request it. Currently there is someone home 24 hours a day to play with and care for your puppies. I work a flex schedule and my wife is home during the days. We have 6 foot fenced yard for room to run outside, but prefer for their comfort to keep the pups indoors in the ac. We do have a smaller dog run if you prefer your pup to hang out outside. Fresh water is always out. We have several dog beds so they have comfy places to lay and we will work with your feeding schedule. We are familiar with giving oral medications if needed. Treats are handed out on the regular because the puppies deserve them.
About: My pet sitting experience is a culmination of a lifelong love for animals, particularly dogs. With a fur baby as a constant companion throughout my life, caring for and understanding their needs has become second nature to me. I am deeply passionate about dogs and even volunteer with two rescues in Colorado, which led to the adoption of one of my beloved fur babies. Located in Reunion CO, just a short 12-minute drive from the airport, my home is a haven for pets. We have a secure and fenced-in yard, complete with a locked gate and a convenient pet door. With three floors for the furry guests to explore, there is plenty of space for them to roam and play. Through my own experience, I have successfully trained my own puppies, teaching them an array of tricks such as sit, lay down, pick a boo, play dead, and more. Your fur babies will not only feel safe and comfortable in our cozy abode but will also have a blast during their staycation. IG: thewrightretreat_co With our flexible work arrangements, my fiancé and I are fortunate to have ample time and availability to provide dedicated care for pups. While I work in a hybrid setting, allowing me to be home for a significant portion of the week, my fiancé has the luxury of working from home. This setup ensures that there is always someone present to attend to the needs of our furry friends. From fulfilling their physical needs to engaging in playtime and showering them with affectionate cuddles, we have the freedom and flexibility to devote quality time to each fur baby. Their well-being and happiness are our top priorities, and our flexible schedules allow us to be fully present and attentive guardians for their every need. Ensuring the safety of fur babies in my home is of utmost importance to me. I have implemented several measures to create a secure environment for them. The fenced-in yard features a gated entrance, providing a protected space for them to play and explore. Inside the house, a robust security system and cameras offer an additional layer of protection and peace of mind. For added security and convenience, there is a pet door that can be locked when needed. If preferred, I can also provide kenneling options at night or when running quick errands to ensure their safety. With doggie gates on each floor of my three-story house, I have the capability to separate pups if necessary. Your fur baby's safety and well-being are my top priorities, so please let me know about any specific needs or concerns such as aggressive chewing, allergies, or anxiety. By understanding their unique requirements, I can tailor the environment to provide the utmost comfort and security for your beloved furry companion.
About: Pups have easy access to a doggy door to the dog run to go potty when I am at work. They can get energy out by playing with my boxer Wilbur! I also understand that senior dogs may need space. If that is the case please let me know I do prefer to know hours ahead of time please. I am available any time on weekends and evenings on weekdays for drop off. I would love to do a meet and greet if possible I have a dog run and fenced yard! One of my pups is on medication. Routine is key! I feed mine twice a day. They have free access to the doggy door all day to go potty

“We have used Michael for a year now. He helped us socialize our new puppy when we got him and his two beautiful ladies, Margie and Rita, taught our dog how to be a dog and walk on a leash. We’ve continued to come at least once a week just because our beagle loves being here to play and be loved during the day. Your dog couldn’t be in better care.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Tampa commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
