“We had a great experience with Aimee taking care of our senior husky for a day-care appointment. This was our first time using Rover so we weren't sure what to expect. Aimee met with me promptly for a meet and greet and we talked about any potential issues, since our old boy has some anxiety. Aimee was competent and confident that she could keep him comfortable for the day. Our family was just enjoying the area for the day but our activities didn't accommodate our dog. He had a great day with Aimee and her teenager. She kept me updated on how he was settling in and sent pictures all day! We are so happy that he got to have a good day while we were separated. When he started to have some separation anxiety near the end of the day, we communicated and she was able to do some training interventions with him and he calmed down. If we are ever in the area again, we'd gladly leave our pets in Aimee's care. She was also the most budget friendly sitter in her area and we appreciate that! About: My husband, Aaron, and I have always had dogs. We love taking our pup on daily walks and watching her explore. Having had several special dogs over the years, I know the anxiety that exists when trying to find the best care for your fur baby. First hand experience with a variety of behavioral and medical issues and always take the care to work through their issues with patience and understanding. I have raised a pair of yellow labs from 8 weeks old to nearly 15 years old and my latest German Shepherd was almost 14 (sadly, I recently had to put her down). I've fostered numerous labs and shepherds and other random breeds. I'm currently back to working in office during the week, so my schedule may not be as open as previously. Usually weekends are free and I can try to be as flexible as possible with arrangements. My husband, Aaron, and I sometimes stagger our work schedules by a couple of hours- just trying to have someone home to keep the pups company. I have a fenced yard and my neighborhood is very dog friendly with numerous trails and sidewalks if your dog likes to go for daily walks.
