“Our dogs just love Frank and Marlene! They really care for the animals as if they are their own. Every time we need a sitter, this family is the first resource we check for availability because we know we are leaving the dogs in trusted hands.”

“Irene responded quickly to our last minute need for care for our Bernedoodle so that we could do an airboat tour of the Everglades. She took notes about his schedule and provided videos of our guy to reassure us that he was fine. We’ve only left him with family or our trainer back home, so we were hesitant to leave him with a stranger, especially given his separation anxiety. Irene was affectionate with him, and if we’re ever back in the Miami area, I won’t hesitate to call on her again! Anyone who has traveled to the area to do Everglades excursions, Biscayne boat trips or other attractions where your dog is not permitted, I recommend Irene to lovingly care for your dog.”

A typical day is tailored to your dog’s usual routine, personality, and needs. Since I am home full-time, I’m able to provide close supervision, companionship, frequent potty breaks, personalized playtime, walks, enrichment, and plenty of time to rest and relax. I intentionally care for only a small number of dogs at a time so each guest can receive individual attention and enjoy a calm, home-style environment. I do my best to keep feeding, potty, activity, and sleep routines as familiar as possible, helping every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and truly at home while their family is away. My home is clean, comfortable, and designed to help dogs feel safe and at ease in the 33172 area. One of its best features is the large, fully fenced backyard with a beautiful lake view, giving dogs plenty of space to explore, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. The front entrance is also gated, adding another layer of security. Guests can enjoy the open first floor and are welcome to relax comfortably on the couch or wherever they feel most at home. The surrounding area is great for peaceful walks, with plenty of interesting sights and smells along the way. Outdoor time and walks are adapted to each dog’s comfort level and behavior, so they can enjoy the environment safely and at their own pace. Because I intentionally care for only a small number of dogs at a time, I’m able to supervise closely and adapt each stay to your dog’s personality, routine, and needs.

About: I have had pets in my home my whole life until my dog recently passed away. I was reluctant of letting in another because I didn’t want to go through the grief all over again. Recently, I have had a feeling to help out as many animals as I can. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened!!! I want to give these babies love and support no matter the cost. I do this by volunteering at the shelter, and hopefully being able to take care of your pets through Rover!!! I am available whenever needed! I am a full time student with a flexible schedule. I will work around the times that fit your needs. I take dogs out for walks, babysit, and take them on day trips to stimulate themselves. I know bigger dogs especially get stressed out so I like to get them moving. I have toys available and a big land for them to play.
“Tiphany was very accommodating on short notice and was great to Auggie! He spent the day with her at daycare and made friends and most importantly came home happy and exercised. Do not hesitate to book!”

About: *Hablo español* As a dog trainer focused on behavior, I create a structured, balanced environment that helps dogs feel calm, secure, and confident during their stay. I have knowledge of dog psychology and carefully manage routines, play, rest, and socialization based on each dog’s age, energy level, and behavior. Dogs are always separated in groups, appropriately for safety and comfort. I’m only out of the house 2–3 hours at a time for training sessions, so when I’m home, the dogs are out, supervised, and part of a loving daily routine. This is a loving and caring home where your pets will never feel like you’re gone! ❤️ I’m a lifelong animal lover and have owned dogs my entire life. I currently share my home with my emotional support Golden Retriever, Asher, and my 13-year-old daughter, who dreams of becoming a veterinarian. She’s like a little dog whisperer—animals are instantly drawn to her and she treats every one of them with so much love and care. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I have hands-on experience administering medications and caring for senior and special-needs pets. My late Cocker Spaniel needed daily medicine for his legs and hips, and I’ve also cared for diabetic pups that required regular insulin shots—so I know how to handle those needs with patience and compassion. My job is to stay home and care for the dogs I sit — it’s what I do full-time! 🐾 If I’m not at home, it’s usually because I’m out walking or training other dogs in the neighborhood. Pet sitting, walking, and training are my main focus, and I truly love spending my days surrounded by pups. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. If your pup has any special conditions or needs, I like to know in advance so I can prepare and make sure they’re cared for properly. I adjust my care based on each dog’s personality — lots of playtime for the energetic ones, and plenty of calm cuddles for the more relaxed pups. With your permission, I love giving treats (my daughter and I even make our own with yogurt and peanut butter, and we also keep a variety of healthy snacks at home). Most importantly, your dog will be treated like family — loved, hugged, and always welcome to snuggle with us on the couch, the bed, or even the floor!

I can’t thank you enough for taking such wonderful care of Chewbacca. He had the best time with your dog, they were like siblings! I could see how happy he was when I picked him up; he was beaming. It was clear he really bonded with you. Chewbacca had so much fun with his new friend that he came home completely tired, which is super rare since he’s usually very active at night. I’m so grateful, thank you for everything!

Chewie had a great time with his fur nanny tonight! He stayed for 2.5 hours, and when I picked him up he was so happy and full of energy. It was clear he felt comfortable and well cared for and he even made some new furry friends. Nayerlin was attentive and proactive the entire time, she kept sending videos and pictures of chewie which gave me so much peace of mind. I really appreciate the love and attention she gave him. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Francesca! She took such great care of my dog, and it was clear from the start how much my dog loved being around her. She’s incredibly kind, attentive, and trustworthy. I also really appreciated how she kept me updated throughout the day with messages and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s obvious she truly cares about the pets she looks after. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

This was my first time leaving my dog Onyx in someone else’s care & I wouldn’t have it any other way. Aisa and her mom kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout the day, which definitely helped ease my worries. They also have a big yard which my dog obviously enjoyed, I could tell he had a good time in their care. Highly recommend!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
