About: Cats are my favorites creatures on this planet and I've been caring for them so long its second nature In 2016 i began my journey of dog love when i met my first dog soulmate skyley who was a black and white rat terrier. Ive had in total about 5 years caring for dogs. Feeding them, walking with them, spending time with them ect Pet care is an important part of my weekly life for personal reasons. It also fits well for business reasons I live at my work so I’m available often and will be able to look after your pet morning afternoon and night in between my day. About: I have taken care of and grew up with all kinds of small, medium and large dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, birds, rodents and more. I am signing up for Rover as I love animals and can’t have a per where I live and would love to help care for yours. I live in Nevada City CA and can travel to Lincoln, Roseville or Sac if you’re able to help with reasonable gas compensation. I miss my former roomie’s doggo (Ollie the Shiba Inu featured in many of my pics) sooo much and would love to care for your dearest animal family member. I grew up with animals and have professionally taken care of dogs as a dog walker, as a paid house and overnight dog sitter and cat sitter, and have caretaked for long periods of time professionally for friends’ and many different roommates’ dogs and houses. I have volunteered at an exotic zoo doing animal care and feeding, cleaning the cage for several months and even studied abroad in college and lived in Kenya Africa for 3 months to study wildlife management. Fun fact - I got to hold and feed a baby sloth as part of this. I have a flexible and open schedule presently as and am looking for work and pet sitting opportunities. I would love to work with animals that I can continue to build a relationship with - like be your regular dog walker, or maybe you live here part-time and want support for your cat while you’re out of town. I don’t think I’m allowed to have dogs or cats at my Studio apartment, so sadly can’t board your animal. We have two friendly dogs of our own, a Papillon and a Min Pin/Jack Russell mix, who enjoy having new companions around. They’re social, well-behaved, and help create an easygoing atmosphere for visiting pups. If a dog prefers their own space, I can separate areas to make sure everyone feels relaxed. For boarding in my home, I do require that dogs are potty trained. If you’re still working on potty training, I’m more than happy to support that process in your home. I’m also comfortable with crate routines, senior care, medication reminders, and maintaining whatever structure your dog is used to. As a father and longtime pet owner, safety and communication are top priorities, I send photo updates and check-ins so you always feel connected while you’re away.

About: Hi there! I've been an animal lover and advocate since childhood, and have spent the last 11 years in dedicated companionship to my beloved late bulldog. From puppy years to senior and ultimately hospice care, he taught me presence, patience, and unconditional compassion, and gave me tons of experience managing separation anxiety and changing physical, medical, and mobility issues/concerns. Our household would be great for any pups with separation anxiety, as I work from home and can offer consistent company and attention during their stay, and don't have any children or other pets in the home. You can trust your dog to be treated like family with me, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet them! I work from home and spend 15-20 hours/week in work-related meetings, and have open availability for boarding throughout the week/weekend and through the upcoming holidays I have a fenced back patio in our quiet townhome community to offer your dog sun-filled naps and fresh air if desired, and plenty of beautiful walking paths in the immediate neighborhood. I have crate availability if needed, and a baby-gate to fence off stairs if your dog has any trouble going up or down. We do allow dogs on couches/in bed, so they'll have access to maximum snuggles of desired.
