If you’re looking for full time, comprehensive care, this is it. 😊 As a retired veteran, this is my main source of income and I’m very dedicated to it. I am involved in pet care every day because I have a dog and cat of my own and I love them like family. Taking care of animals puts me at ease and helping others is my mission in life, so I’m very devoted to doing this job well. My complex is gated and I have created a special space in my home for guest pets. I have LOTS of toys and training tools available so the fun never stops! I follow instructions to the letter and do my absolute best to go above and beyond in all that I do. Animals are such a beautiful blessing on this Earth and I really treasure every opportunity to interact with them. It just makes me happy!
About: I have owned pets all of my life. Over the years, I have owned dogs, cats, chinchillas, and conures. Pets are members of your family, not just animals living in your house! I am 65 years old and I currently substitute teach part time. I would be very flexible with hours to visit to your home and when I come see your pet; I will treat them as if they were my own. When coming into your home, I would take the time to get to know your pets needs and personality. Every pet is an individual. They need to be treated with respect and loving kindness.
About: Hey there!! I've been around pets my whole life and absolutely LOVE them. We had a dog (dachshund) growing up as well as other animals like Rabbits and Guinea Pigs! I've had cats and dogs throughout my life as well. My bestie dog was named Sadie (corgi/husky mix) who was 17 when I had to let her go to the rainbow bridge March 2021...it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do 💔 I had her since she was about 1 yr old. She had a pacemaker put in about 2 yrs prior to passing and had a great life but I miss her like crazy. I've been Petsitting a long time but since Sadie passed, it's really helped heal my heart and has truly been a blessing. Most of my clients are from word of mouth over the years but I have this to help others get in touch with me if they need some help! I live in Lake Toxaway but I have jobs anywhere from Highlands, Cashiers, Sapphire, Lake Toxaway to Brevard. I mostly stay at my client's homes but I do bring some dogs to my house if it ends up being a better option. I also do drop-ins and daycare as well. I've done puppy care and senior care as too so that doesn't phase me. I also can do medication or treatments needed. If I'm booked up for in home pet care then I can do drop ins 2x a day for cats 🐱 I can possibly offer that for dogs too but they usually need it 3x a day. So that would all depend on my availability. I work part time caretaking properties/cleaning, and childcare so I'm mostly home! When I do need to leave I'm not gone more then 3-6 hrs, depending on the job. I can travel further if I can move jobs around in my area. I'm very flexible and try to make things work if I can! I currently don’t have a fenced in yard but I will walk around my neighborhood and have a decent sized backyard. I treat your babies like they're my own so they get lots of lovin. Sometimes we go to the State Park too! If they like car rides I'll take them to check my mail or little errands.

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
