About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old. Growing up on a farm, I learned to take care of animals from a very young age. Additionally, I spent a lot of my high school years pet sitting for neighbors, family friends, and friends of friends! I have had many dogs of many different breeds and ages. I tend to be an active person, so walking and playing with my pets to ensure their exercise is something I prioritize. I’m very good at adapting to pets different personalities and making them as comfortable as possible. I work 5 days a week but on a hybrid schedule- 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. My hours are 9-3, so I have plenty of time during the week to love on your pet! Additionally, my weekends are free. Though I do not have any pets currently, I have an apartment with plenty of room, outside space, and live directly across from a huge, gated dog park— which is friendly to all sizes of dogs. Additionally, I live right next to tons of walking trails, perfect for those pets who love their walks! If your pup is needing to be crated, I can easily make that happen, as well as anything else your pet needs!

About: What sets me apart is the level of responsibility, patience, and attention I bring to caring for someone else’s pet. My background in the Armed Service has taught me to be dependable, punctual, and attentive to details, but I also understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I take the time to learn those little things rather than treating pet care as simply feeding and walking. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, stubborn, or just wants some company, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your pet—and your home—with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I will be the one and only caretaker for your pet, should you ever require it. Our goal is to keep our girl, Rya, active and happy with walks every morning, afternoon, and evening—with the occasional midnight adventure! Since we currently live in an apartment, regular walks are an important part of our daily routine, giving us plenty of steps while making sure she gets the exercise and stimulation she needs. We always come prepared with water, treats, and dog bags whenever necessary, and we’d provide the same level of care and attention to any pet entrusted to us. To ensure building safety, trust, and a positive environment, I am open to receiving feedback from the owner about each of their pets' schedules or rules they are accustomed to, and to providing care and supervision when the clients are not present.

About: Hello, my name’s Anna. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16. My family got a golden doodle several years ago and he has definitely been a joy and a task. Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I work full time but like to stay active and adding furry friends to the mix on my days off is no big task. I would love to see more dog friends and help them socialize and make someone’s life easier. I don’t have a fenced in back yard, but I am capable of taking dogs on as many walks as needed. I am also capable of putting dogs in a crate and preparing them for crating as long as needed.

About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

I have a 14 month old yellow lab/golden retriever mix, she is so funny, so sweet and has such a great personality!! I do have basic training skills! On treat motivated pets lol! I love animals , I’m very flexible! Your pet will get lots of love and attention from me! I’m very reliable! I’m able to come at last minute most of the time! I will also give your pet meds if needed! I’m also able to give injections if needed! I hope you will consider me to take care of your sweet babies , for a drop in visit for a little playtime , potty break or a nice walk, or just to give them company !! Jill I have a great flexible day schedule , I’m available almost any days , I also will do last minute drop ins on a short notice! I will greet your furry babies like they are my own! And I love to give treats when I come in if that’s OK! Then we will go outside for a potty break, have playtime and a walk if requested ! Make sure freshwater is in the water bowls! I can also put your pets in a crate if you need me to before I leave!

I have always loved animals and have had many pets during my life. I have had 4 cats, 2 dogs, and rabbits, hamsters, and birds. I have gained most of my experience dog sitting through my family members. I currently take care of my cousins’ golden doodle and cocker spaniel twice a year since 2020. I have also dog sat my grandparents’ corgi multiple times. I do have some experience farm sitting for rabbits and chickens as well. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
