About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

I will also give your pet meds if needed! I’m also able to give injections if needed! About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. About: I’ve owned dogs & cats all my life. I absolutely adore fur babies and can’t get enough of them. I have 2 cats of my own as well! I currently am working full time . With Wednesday and Saturdays off. I am available to stay at pet owners home if dog sitting . I am also able to check in on cats everyday as well. If pet owner lives close (within 5-10min) to my work I am able to let dogs out during my work lunch hour. I am also willing to be flexible as well if I have time in advance to try and work something out with my schedule at work! When I pet sit, I make sure dogs/cats have enough food water and toys. I enjoy playing with the animals as well as making sure I am doing the required tasks the owner has asked. I clean my cats litter box daily and when sitting for dogs I make sure I take dogs out multiple times or when Owener ask. I also love going on walks with dogs!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

About: Your pet is welcome in my home! They will get lots of TLC, play time, feeding, walking & love. My house is small but live on 2 acres in the country. My yard is not fenced so I walk your pets on a leash & there are trails in the woods where they love to walk too. I also have a tie out if they dont do well on a leash & some are fine to free roam but they are never left unattended. I can take 2 small to medium dogs or 2 large or 1 giant dog. I will also transport your pet(s) to & from your home if needed. This will be an additional fee. I have been professionally petsitting for the past 17 years. References are supplied upon request. I have three dogs of my own aged 6, 5, and 4, so I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy and caring to watch your pets when needed! I have watched dogs ranging from full grown german shepherds to small puppies. I first volunteeed at my local animal shelter, Pet Refuge, six years ago and discovered my passion for animals! I have experience with caring for numerous sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs through both my past volunteer experience and my work here through Rover over the past 5 years. These dogs include pit bulls, golden retrievers, australian shepherds, huskies, poodles and doodles, labs, chihuahuas, beagles, bulldogs, terriers, and many mixes in between. My experience includes walking, feeding, giving oral medicine, and knowledge of the various traits and behaviors of dogs. I have learned many skills on how to interact with dogs and how to read their body language. I have been so fortunate to expand further on all of these skills through my own work full-time here on Rover with my daily clients, as well as my every-once-in-awhile pet pals that just need someone when their parents go on vacation! I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I work full time but like to stay active and adding furry friends to the mix on my days off is no big task. I would love to see more dog friends and help them socialize and make someone’s life easier. I don’t have a fenced in back yard, but I am capable of taking dogs on as many walks as needed. I am also capable of putting dogs in a crate and preparing them for crating as long as needed.
About: I have always grew up around dogs in my home and friends, family home. My grandma used to foster dogs and she taught me a lot I know about them including but not limited to administering shots and medications. I currently work full-time. However, the dog door and fenced in yard allows your dog to be out and roam freely while I am away. I am also okay to crate your dog if that is what you would prefer. When I get home it's usually clean, play, and dinner time. As the night goes on its movies and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard and a doggy door to let your dog(s) run around outside and play during the day freely as wanted. I love to take walks in the nice weather with the dogs and play fetch out in the yard. I have an indoor camera and outdoors cameras to keep eyes when I'm not home.
