“Kelly was amazing! She communicated with us multiple times each day. My dog gets separation anxiety and normally hides in my closet or under my bed the entire time we're away from home. Didn't happen this time. He bonded with her so well that he actually played with her and stayed in the living room with her! Definitely hope to have Kelly house sit for us again in the future!”

“Christopher took great care of my dog and sent lots of pictures. I had a water leak a couple days before I was leaving and was great about being there for maintenance to come while I was gone”
“Brandy took fantastic care of our mostly senior pack of four dogs and two cats while we were away. She has a calming, patient, and compassionate presence which all of the animals responded to very positively. She communicated each day with message updates which I appreciated very much. She also took great care of our home, leaving it clean and tidy. I plan to contact Brandy again for future stays and recommend her highly!”

“Whitney is the kind of pet caretaker that you dream about! She is so wonderful with my 95 lb lab puppy (yes, I said puppy because he's only 1.5 yrs old and doesn't know his strength). She is willing to work with you if a schedule shift happens, she knows a lot about animals and that's important to me, she is more than conscious of my home and takes very well care of it while I am gone. All in all, she's one of the finest you can get!”

“Annie is an amazing dog sitter! She’s attentive, thoughtful, and truly cares about our pups. She sent regular updates and photos, asked great questions, and gave our super seniors so much love and quality time. 10/10 — we couldn’t ask for better care. I’m so thankful to have found her. Thank you,Annie!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small animals for over 5 years and have hands-on experience with large breeds, working dogs, reactive dogs, and high-energy personalities. I currently own German Shepherds as well as two chinchillas, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, structure, enrichment, and maintaining a safe environment. I’m comfortable with crate routines, medication administration, basic training reinforcement, long walks, litter box care, feeding routines, and reading animal body language. My professional background in high-stress environments has also made me calm, dependable, detail-oriented, and communicative. I know how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone else, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m still able to provide dependable drop-in care and quality engagement for pets. I’m available for evening drop-in visits during the weekdays and can provide up to two visits per day on weekends. During visits, I focus on more than just feeding and potty breaks — I make sure pets receive attention, enrichment, playtime, affection, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m especially attentive to routines, behavioral cues, and making animals feel safe and relaxed in their home environment. Safety, structure, and trust are extremely important to me when caring for animals. I have experience with large breeds, reactive dogs, cats, and small animals, so I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and maintaining calm, controlled interactions. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication routines, crate rotations, leash handling, and household rules. I prioritize secure handling during walks and visits, double-check doors, gates, harnesses, and crates, and always aim to create a calm and positive environment for pets. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins to help owners feel comfortable while they’re away.
“Rachel is fantastic! She responded quickly from my first inquiry. We have two large and overly friendly spoiled rotten labs. She is experienced with large dogs and is able to walk them with ease! She gives them lots of attention. One of our dogs is needy and a bit anxious and he is very comfortable with her. She sends updates and pics to relieve my anxiety too! Highly recommend Rachel!!!”

“Salena took very good care of our very shy cat. She kept us up to date with texts about how Olivia was doing which was reassuring during our travels. We are happy with Salena and would hire her again.”
“Nadiya did such a wonderful job with my 9-week-old puppy! It was my first time leaving him and I was so worried about it but she was so attentive and communicative I knew he was being taken great care of and having a great time. She clearly really cares for and loves all the animals she looks after and I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“Sandor has been taking care of my three dogs multiple times during the past year and half both for daily and multiday stays. Always dependable with great communications. Highly recommend him. Thanks Sandor.”

About: I started taking care of animals when I was really young I think around 6 years old I would take care of my neighbor's dog was a little Pomeranian when they would go places. Also my neighbor had a Irish setter that I would go visit all the time and she would give me a dollar to walk her around the block or talking at least 48 years ago and I still remember it to this day it was one of the best times in my life when I was young. I think I've decided that I want to dedicate my life to this I mean what's left of it anyway lol I've been working with people most of my life and I thought I'd give this a try so daily routine and weekly routine would be up to the customer and it would be your preference after all you're the boss right? I've been a caregiver since 1998 of people I had five background checks last year for the state of Oregon I work for Oregon health Care commission and I'm a caregiver I passed five of them so you would not have to worry about me being in your home I would offer the services that you were requesting and you would also go beyond even more than what you would expect I think I would be a good fit with for anybody I'm an older lady and I've got a lot of grandchildren so I figured taking care of your for a babies and I would treat them like my grandbabies or you would say fur babies. Customer would be my boss so therefore I would do what they would ask.
“It was awesome meeting Leanna, and I felt totally at ease leaving my pup in her care over Labor Day weekend. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Super professional, super responsive—any time I reached out, she got back to me within minutes, which really gave me peace of mind. This was my first time using Rover, and thanks to Leanna, it was a great experience. I’d happily recommend her to friends and family. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Alyssa was amazing! We have an elderly 15 year-old Jack Russel who needs a lot of care, and she did a great job looking after him. She also did house sitting while we were away, and the house looks better than we left it. Highly recommend. I will definitely ask her to sit for us again. Thanks!”

“Manika is the best! She was super attentive and is a real natural with pets. Her communication was always prompt and responsive, and she and my dog became fast friends. She left the house in pristine condition -- even cleaner than I'd left it! I will not hesitate to hire her again!”

“Brianna was absolutely amazing with our fur babies! She sent updates, pictures, videos and even took out the trash, vacuumed, and scooped the litter box before we returned home. I will be using her again in the future!!”

Talbot pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kelly is an excellent dog sitter and a truly nice person. She took great care of our very old needy dog. Taco warmed up to her quickly and I could tell that he was very comfortable with her. He can be a bit standoffish if he isn't sure of someone but that was not the case with Kelly. He looked happy in all the pictures we received. She even took him golf cart riding which is one of his favorite things. An added bonus is that Kelly is an outgoing and has great communication skills which I value when away from Taco. Also we were bringing family members home for a visit and the house was just as I left it. A++

Kelly was amazing! This was the longest we have ever said away from our animals and Kelly made sure to update us everyday all day long! She did new activities with our dog and spoiled her just as much as we do😂 our cat even loved her and our cat is kindy picky 😂 we will 100% use her again!

Rose did a wonderful job taking care of our fur babies and house! :) She was a fantastic communicator and sent lots of pictures! :) She was great with our picky Bernedoodle and our goats and barn cats! She’s trustworthy annd responsible and I’ll definitely be asking her to house and animal sit when we go out of town in the future! :)
