About: I'm a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for my own two dogs, which has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each dog's unique personality. With my second dog especially, I took an active role in training and behavior development, learning how to use positive reinforcement and establish routines that help dogs feel secure and happy. I regularly help friends by providing midday potty breaks and companionship for their dogs when they're at work or traveling. I'm also available for last-minute requests when my schedule allows. I understand that pets need care even when their families are working full days, and my afternoon and weekend availability is ideal for busy pet parents who want to ensure their furry family members get attention and exercise while they're away. During pet check-ins, I focus on making sure each animal gets the individual attention and care they need. I always let dogs spend as much time outside as they want - whether that's a quick potty break or a longer play session in the yard. I pay attention to their energy level and preferences that day. I believe quality time is just as important as meeting basic needs, so I make sure to engage with each pet through play, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. For more active dogs, I'm happy to take them on short walks during my visit to give them extra exercise and mental stimulation. I follow the specific instructions and routines that pet parents provide, but I also adapt to what the pet seems to need in the moment. Some days they might want to play fetch, other days they just want someone to sit with them. I always make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, and that they seem comfortable and content before I leave. I provide updates to pet parents so they know how their furry family member is doing, including any highlights from our time together.

About: I started taking care of animals when I was really young I think around 6 years old I would take care of my neighbor's dog was a little Pomeranian when they would go places. Also my neighbor had a Irish setter that I would go visit all the time and she would give me a dollar to walk her around the block or talking at least 48 years ago and I still remember it to this day it was one of the best times in my life when I was young. I think I've decided that I want to dedicate my life to this I mean what's left of it anyway lol I've been working with people most of my life and I thought I'd give this a try so daily routine and weekly routine would be up to the customer and it would be your preference after all you're the boss right? I've been a caregiver since 1998 of people I had five background checks last year for the state of Oregon I work for Oregon health Care commission and I'm a caregiver I passed five of them so you would not have to worry about me being in your home I would offer the services that you were requesting and you would also go beyond even more than what you would expect I think I would be a good fit with for anybody I'm an older lady and I've got a lot of grandchildren so I figured taking care of your for a babies and I would treat them like my grandbabies or you would say fur babies. Customer would be my boss so therefore I would do what they would ask.

One of my pups left an unexpected surprise (my pup threw a tantrum and destroyed a furniture) for McKenna and she was so nice and cleaned it up for me. About: I have two cats at home and frequently pet-sit for friends & neighbors in the area. I have always had at least one cat in my home, and at one point lived with two miniature Australian Shepherds. I’m currently working part-time and have plenty of time in my schedule. I typically work 5 hours per day, 3-5 days per week, sometimes weekends. I am accustomed to following meal and medication schedules for pets, as well as monitoring a cat on a leash outside or walking a dog twice per day. When walking dogs, I stick to the established route and avoid other dogs.

I'm happy to water plants or take care of a garden too! I am starting classes in late September, so until then, I'm all yours! About: I've been taking care of my families pets as well as the pets of my friends, and neighbors since I was a kid! We never had less than three animals in the house and would always watch over our neighbors pets when they were gone. I have also worked as a pet sitter for many other families in a more professional setting. Taking care of animals isnt always clean or easy but its worth it to me to see them happy. I do my best to treat your pets like family knowing that I would want the same treatment for my cat when I rely on someone to watch her! I am not available in the mornings unless I am taking care of them across multiple days. I am available in the afternoon and evenings both during the week and weekends. I am not able to keep your pets in my home because I have a very non-friendly cat. However I am more than happy to spend an afternoon with them at the park, take them on a short walk, or just stop in to make sure they are doing ok. I am also able to stay at your home or check on your pets multiple times per day if you will be out of town.

About: I have fostered on and off with Hope’s Haven for years now and I am no stranger to puppies and seniors alike. I have dog sat since I was 14. I’m a college student at Chemeketa and would love to spend the time I am not studying getting my exercise in by getting out a dog’s energy. I have a cat, two rabbits, and a standard poodle at home. I know a lot about keeping peace and making sure everyone has their needs met.
