I was leaving for my grad the same day and scrambled to find anyone who was wiling to watch my pup. Achara saved the day! She was flexible, calm, and reassuring. He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. I would absolutely trust her with Atlas again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and compassionate dog sitter.”

About: Hello! My name is Violet and I’m 19. I’ve taken care of many dogs with varying ages and sizes since I was 15. I’m a volunteer/foster home at Front Street Animal Shelter and have fostered multiple dogs and puppies. This experience has deepened my understanding of animals as well as how to properly care for them. Along with this I assist friends and family pets frequently whenever they need me. I currently own a dog I adopted from the shelter 8 years ago, he is a mixed pup around 20lb and is good with other dogs. Currently I’m open full time for your pet, and I take any size pets. I am searching for more job experience and opportunities. I'm passionate about providing top-notch care for your beloved furry friends. I am currently free most of summer, so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets! I’m available for boarding all week, as well as drop in visits. I have a fenced yard with one very friendly dog to keep your pup company. I’ll supervise to ensure the safety of all pets. If provided I’m able to easily crate your dog. I’ll be sure to follow all instructions given, whether at my home or at yours.
