“Heather was incredible with Charlie! This was our first time boarding Charlie and we couldn’t have picked a better person to do that. She is an absolute professional and very passionate about what she does. She sent multiple pictures of our boy and kept us updated with how he was doing. Thank you Heather!”

“Stefani was a great help ! We were in town and totally forgot the Texas State Aquarium didn’t allow pets. She took Lola into her home while we were at the aquarium. Kept me updated. When back in town and needing a sitter will definitely book again! Thank you once again!”

“Belinda took great care of our dog Brody for five nights and showed him lots of love while we were on a trip. She kept us updated daily and sent us lots of pictures. She was very flexible and accommodating with our drop off and pick up times. She even made brody a sweet blanket that he loves. Highly recommend Belinda!!!”

“Samantha was willing to take our 10 week old puppy since we had our vacation planned prior to getting him. She also worked with him on some of his training while we were gone and shared some pointers.”

“Tisha is a very reliable dog sitter. She takes the time to get to know your dog and makes them feel comfortable with the new surroundings. She also sent us pictures and updates on how our dog was adapting to the stay. I was happy to find her and would highly recommend !”

“Delelah was great with my dog and so easy to work with. She was kind, patient, and very obviously knowledgeable about dogs. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Lesley gave 5 star treatment to my 7 month old puppy, Skipper for an in-home stay. At first I wasn’t sure about leaving little Skipper with all her big dogs, but she suggested an initial meet and greet and it was apparent that Skipper would become part of the “gang.” Lesley even got Skipper to eat regular dog food! Skipper was well taken care of and will be visiting his new friends for drop in visits. Thank you Lesley!!!!!!”

“Wonderful!!! I could write a long raving review and it wouldn’t cover it all. I dropped off a high maintenance retired K9 on kennel rest and a list of meds. Debbie never blinked. She ended up having to take him to the vet because he decided to not eat and had some changes in his demeanor. We stayed informed and felt good about her judgment regarding his health. We ended up picking him up at almost midnight a day early because she had already done more than expected. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch any of our dogs again. Highly recommended.”

“This is an excellent dog sitter, I highly recommend her and will definitely use her services for future travels. Great communication and great overall experience I truly enjoyed trusting my pets with Cindy. Thank you again for doing such a good job Cindy.”

“They were absolutely amazing! They communicated well and checked in everyday to let me know how Nova was doing throughout her stay! As someone who usually plans vacations with the idea of bringing my dog with me I don’t usually have her boarded so I was very nervous but they were truly amazing and if I ever have to have her boarded again I’ll definitely be booking with them!”
“Mrs Judith Is amazing , she is a true dog lover, she took really good care of Gucci and kept me updated with videos , pictures and text messages through out his whole stay.”

“She was amazing! Accommodating and loving towards our Suzie. Mrs. Bobbye treated our puppy like her own. Her home is very pet friendly. Our Suzie was able to lounge on furniture and run her little heart out in a large fenced back yard. She had lots of love and companionship with Mrs. Bobbye and her family (her own fur babies included). I received many updates and photos which gave me peace of mind over night. Definitely will use her services again. Highly recommend.”
“She is fantastic and Lew , had like a vacation time. I will recommend Rebecca to everyone who wants to be sure that his dog is going to enjoy and feel loved. Thanks Rebecca.”

“Gina is amazing! She took such good care of our Lucy girl and sent so many updates. She had so much fun with Gina and her family and her dogs. Every picture she sent I could swear she was smiling! We will definitely be booking with her again❤️”

“Lillian is truly AMAZING! Ollie loves her so much that he didn’t want to leave. She was very accommodating and even had a meet up before so Ollie could meet her. 10 out of 10 service. We will be using Lillian for now on. Thank you Lillian!!”

“Dominque was great! Our fur baby’s were taken care of very well. She responded quickly and would send tons of pictures! We will definitely be rebooking with her for future trips! 😊”

“Manuel was awesome. Gave us photo updates while we were away. Made sure he knew how to take care of our dogs before we left and the dogs were well taken care of. Will use Manuel again for our next trip”

“Paige was very welcoming and it was obvious that Luc felt right at home from the start. Paige sent updates on how things were going. She also sent photos of luc playing with the other dogs and relaxing on the couch! Definitely will use Paige again!”

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
