“Heather was great!! She was quick to respond, made the transition easy and sent us pictures of our baby playing. Knowing she was in good hands made it being away a lot easier. We will definitely be calling Heather again!”

“Cheyenne & David were wonderful with my little Koda! They kept me updated with lots of happy pictures. Very thankful and would love to use them again next time!”

“Karimar was great with my pup! He has a lot of fear and needs some extra loving at times, and I can tell from the photos she sent daily that he was right at home. I would definitely have her watch him again if needed!”

“Excellent dog sitter! Belinda was very accommodating with our schedule. she kept us updated with pictures daily. She took very good care of our dog Brody. We are repeat customers and will be booking again soon!.”

“Would definitely recommend Delelah, she kept our Hank last minute plus an extra unexpected day! She sent photos updating us on his time with her, will definitely use her again! ☺️”

“Outstanding service. Our puppy had such a great time with Ingrid and her “crew”. It was such a relief to see pictures of our Gracie having a great vacation while we were on ours. I will be happy to use Ingrid again.”

“Hannah completely enjoyed her stay with Tisha & Wayne! We went to meet them prior to her visit, and I was very happy seeing how comfortable my dog was with Tisha, Wayne, and her dogs. Tisha sent video of Hannah playing and lots of pictures during her stay. It was obvious Hannah was having lots of fun on her own vacation! Completely put me at ease with leaving her with a new caregiver! We’ll definitely be using Tisha again in the future, so Hannah can spend more time with her new Schnauzer friends!”

“Cindy was amazing! She took great care of my dogs and kept me updated the whole time. They looked so happy and comfortable with her. I’ll definitely book with her again!”

“Carolyn saved me shes kept my dogs safe happy with frequent check ins. I had to PCS to my new duty station in Guam and because of the strict rabies rules and cost of shipping them over i had to go without them. Shes gone above and beyond until I can raise the funds to ship them. Great petsitter I recommend.”

“Gunner enjoyed his stay!! Paige kept me informed about my baby and sent pictures so I knew he was okay. Very easy to talk to and also very understanding. I was a little nervous leaving gunner since I go everywhere with him but as soon as I met Paige I knew he’d be just fine!”
“Stefani was a great help ! We were in town and totally forgot the Texas State Aquarium didn’t allow pets. She took Lola into her home while we were at the aquarium. Kept me updated. When back in town and needing a sitter will definitely book again! Thank you once again!”

“Manuel was great caring for our cat Georgie! He sent pics daily! It was Georgie’s first time away from us however Manuel made us feel at ease. Thank you for Georgie’s great experience!”

“Lesley gave 5 star treatment to my 7 month old puppy, Skipper for an in-home stay. At first I wasn’t sure about leaving little Skipper with all her big dogs, but she suggested an initial meet and greet and it was apparent that Skipper would become part of the “gang.” Lesley even got Skipper to eat regular dog food! Skipper was well taken care of and will be visiting his new friends for drop in visits. Thank you Lesley!!!!!!”

“Monica was excellent. Our previous dog watcher moved so it was intimidating trying to find someone else. I feel like Monica was the best choice. She has a backyard and provided comfortable accommodations and space for Ginger. Her dog is also friendly! While we were away in Europe, she would send photos every day. It was comforting waking up to pictures of Ginger relaxed and happy. She was very communicative with us and caring with Ginger. I definitely recommend her to watch your furry loved one.”

“Gina took great care of our dog! We had no doubt that he was loved and cared for throughout his stay. We really appreciated and enjoyed seeing the daily pictures and videos she sent to us. Gina was very responsive and accommodating to our schedule. She will be the first person on our list to ask when we need a sitter again! Thank you for taking such great care of our baby!”

“Ashely was amazing. My dogs can be a lot to handle sometimes but Ashley made me feel very comfortable leaving my babies with her. She was easy to reach as well. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend!”

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
