About: I don't mind keeping in touch with texts or phone calls at all. I have no problem checking in with you in any way frequently through texts, calls, or emails (whatever method you prefer) to make sure you and your critter(s) are comfortable! I enjoy spending extra time with any animal and providing peace of mind. I can make sure your pet(s) is fed/watered, and even bathed if needed. I have no problem cleaning up after them as well. I would be available to take your pets to dog parks if you would like and would love to give them the attention they need. I have owned reptiles and other small pets so I’m prepared for most pets and enjoy taking care of them all. As a long-time pet owner I know just how important it is to have peace of mind and reassurance when you are away from your pet(s). I work part-time so i will more often be available in the evenings. Saturdays I will be available at any time. Willing to negotiate times/days as well. Currently I have an open schedule with flexible and negotiable availability. I prefer to keep bookings earlier in the day but I am always willing to make exceptions. I am not currently house sitting or boarding however when I have I take pride in being respectful of yours and your pets home and space. It is no problem to keep things cleaner than i found them and make pet-care, comfort, and safety the top priority.

“This was my first time leaving Duke with someone and I was really worried he would not do well. We had gone on a meet and greet 2 days before and Duke got along well with Melinda and her 2 dogs but I was still apprehensive. When it came time to drop him off he jumped right out of the car and ran up to Melinda and her husband without hesitation and went right in the house ! About: Welcome! My name is Kirsten and I am a resident of Portland Tx! I’m originally from Austin where I began my animal care journey. I owned my own animal care service business in Austin for about 4 years taking care of dogs and cats from north all the way down to south Austin. I’ve loved every minute of meeting all kinds of personalities from all pets and giving them the love and attention they need. I’m happy to do a meet and greet with your fur baby. Look forward to meeting you! Pet care is a consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I currently work full-time as a dental assistant, and I am preparing to transition into dental hygiene school soon. Because I already manage a structured schedule, I’m very organized with my time and make pet care a priority. My routine allows me to provide regular walks, feeding, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention. I love to take pups on walks In the neighborhood, play with their favorite toys and give them lots of rubs! If there are activities you prefer I would more than happy to add them to our daily activities. :)
